Season 7 happened.

~SPOILERS FOR SEASON 7 OF VOLTRON~

This season was /by far/ the most emotional season yet for me. I definitely needed my box of tissues XD

There were some things I wasn't happy with, like how no one mentioned Lance's death from the last season (then again they didn't do that with Keith either), and how the whole gameshow episode was integrated. I definitely enjoyed the gameshow, but the episode went from "oh wow we missed 3 years what?" to "oh now we're here participating in a game to escape". The transition didn't flow as well as other breather episodes have, and I think it could've been done a bit better.

That said, I absolutely loved the part where Keith had to draw, and where Keith and Lance both picked each other to escape. I am a Klance shipper, after all XD

Season 7 as a whole was wonderful and mind-blowing. There were /several/ points, especially towards the end of the season, where I legitimately thought that they were going to kill off either Shiro or the other paladins.

And they didn't but... THEY KILLED ADAM. WHY????

I will never get my happy Shadam reunion ;-; Neither of them will get to apologize, or see each other again. That realization was one of the saddest parts for me.

AND VERONICA. I FLIPPIN LOVE HER. She is wonderful in every way, and I just wish that we'd gotten more interactions between her and Lance. I want to see more of their sister-brother bond in the next season.

AND THE ALTEAN. I have to say, I was /not/ expecting that. I thought it was going to be Lotor or Haggar, but it was neither of them. It's probably an Altean from the colony, but wouldn't it be cool if another one of the OGs survived? Unlikely, but it'd be cool. I want to know why the Altean attacked Voltron, especially during the attack on Earth. Were they working for Sendak? Haggar? 

I also want to know what happened to the Altean colony. Hopefully that'll get explained next season.

And HUNK. Our precious cinnamon roll finally got some good, quality screentime! He had so much character development this season :D I really enjoyed the interactions between him and Romelle.

There's also now technically two Voltrons? So that's interesting.

All in all, I can't wait to see how everything plays out in the final 13 episodes. I hope that they'll tie everything up neatly. Maybe they'll do a spinoff or something? Only time will tell.

If you don't watch Voltron, I highly recommend it. It's a fabulous show, and only gets better as time goes on. Also feel free to tell me your opinions about the new season if you have seen it! I'm always open for discussion :D
