Chapter 2: Ice ❄️

Rebecca's POV

"I love London in the winter time!" I said walking towards my favorite candy shop, which I work at!

*DING DONG*

"Miss Bloom! I'm here for my shift!" I yelled from the front of the shop. "Hello dear! I'm gonna need to go out for a while can you watch over the shop?" Bloon asked me as she hung up her apron.

"You got it Bloom." I answered giving he the thumbs up as she grabbed her purse. "Thanks hun your a life saver!" Bloom thanked as she left the candy shop.

"Let see, oh yeah the cupcake orders for Luna's party! How could I forget!" I remembered as I raced to the kitchen. "Okay she wanted red velvet cupcake." I got the ingredients.

2 hours later...

"Wow that took less time than I expected." I sighed as I whiped my forehead and put the cup cakes in the box.

*ding dong*

"Hey little miss baker! Where are you at!?" A voice that I know all to well yelled. "I got you cupcakes right here Luna, you know you don't need to be rude." I grumbled handing Luna the cupcakes.

"What ever the only reason you are coming to my sweet 16 is cause you making the cake. And that's all!" Luna said as she flipped her hair and walked out of the candy shop. "Ugh! That girl is gonna be the death of me!!" I said as I hit my head on the counter repeatedly.

Couple of hours later after the shift...

"By miss Bloom!" I said waving goodbye to Bloom as I grabbed my purse and walked home. "Ugh great I only got a couple hours to relax until I have to of to that hell hole of a party." I said as I grabbed my keys to unlock my apartment.

"Why did I promise to make that stupid cake!?" I asked myself as I plopped down onto my bed.

*beep beep beep*

"Ugh! Who the heck is calling me!?" I asked as I grabbed my phone to see Luna was calling me. "What do you need Luna?" I asked. "Do you have my cake!?" Luna asked over the phone. "Yeah I have your cake! Is there anything else your Highness?" I asked sarcastically. "Don't test me Rebecca! YOU IDIOT THAT TABLE DOESN'T GO THERE!!" Luna yelled over the phone. "God that girl is loud." I whispered. "Just bring me my cake! And it better be spectacular!" Luna yelled as she hung up.

"Fucking drama queen!" I said going to my closet to pick out a dress. "Let see what dress should I wear.... I haven't worn this one since mom died." I said as I pulled out the blue dress. It was a beautiful blue dress. It have white little gems on the top part. And the bottom part was a midnight blue.

It made me remember what it was like with mom. Everything was so peaceful and nice. But then it happened the car crash. She risked her life to save me. I then grabbed the hanger the dress was on and but the dress on my bed. A note fell out from the dress. "What the heck?" I asked as I picked up the note.

Dear my beloved daughter Rebecca,

If your reading this then that means I am dead. I wish I could have more time with you Rebecca, see you grow up,have all kinds of adventures but I couldn't. There is so much more that you yet to know about this world. And frankly I think that is a good thing, cause if you knew what I knew honey.... your life would change for ever. And I didn't want you to live the life I had to live my life before you was horrible, constant running away from bad guys, secrets, lies, betrayal, love, hurt, friendship broken, wars, blood shed, the whole nine. But honey once you were born I had to give that life up, cause I had something better than my old life, and that was you Rebecca. But in conclusion I wanted to say that I love you and I hope you grow up to be a beautiful young lady. I wanna leave you with one piece of advice... don't freeze your heart Rebecca, even if you do love will thaw a froze heart...

"Thank you mom." I said crying. "Are you sure this is the right place?" I heard a voice ask. "Yes I'm positive! If the skull said the ice vessel is her then she's here." A different voice said.

"Who's there I'm warning you I have a bat!" I said as it gabbed the metal bat from my closet. "Clam down honey we wont hurt you." The voice said as it came into light

"Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Vanessa, and this is fox right here is Jessica." Vanessa said introduce herself and the fox. "Why are you crying?" Jessica asked.

"Oh its nothing..." I said as I grabbed my dress and ran to the bathroom and locked the door. "I don't believe that its nothing. Believe me I went down that road. The road where everyone hated you and all your friends left you, and you where alone. I know that feeling, but I now that I found out the information I know my life is becoming a lot better." I heard Vanessa explain through the door.

"Look I don't know how you got in, but just leave, and you guys know nothing about what I'm going through." I yelled as it sat on the floor of the bathroom crying. "Look honey we want to help you. But we cant help you if you wont let us in." Jessica said. I opened the door.

"Why are you guys here?" I asked walking towards the living room. "Okay sit down, we have a lot of explaining to do." Jessica said as I sat down on the couch.

"Lets get right to the chase. You are the ice vessel." Jessica said blankly.; "Wait what?" I asked. "There are 8 elements of magic, Vanessa is the fire vessel and you are the ice vessel. But we need to find the other vessel so come on." Jessica explained.

"Yeah right like I believe you for one second look I have to go give a spoiled brat a sweet 16 cake. Feel free to tag along with me if you like." I said as I put my hair in a ponytail and grabbed my purse and walked out with thw cake. "YA PARTY!" Vanessa said happily.

At the party...

"THANK GOD!! What to you so long to get here!?" Luna said as I put the cake on the dessert table. "Look I had some personal stuff to deal with!" I said as I walked up to Luna.

"Who is she?" Luna asked pointing to Vanessa. "She is my.... baking assistant." I said as Vanessa nodded. "Fine! Just sit down and don't talk to me!" Luna said as we went out separate ways.

"Luna! Aren't you forgetting something?" I asked slyly. "What am I possibly forgetting?" Luna asked as she walked back towards me. "That cake isn't for free." I said smirking.

"Ugh! Your a greedy little bitch aren't you Rebecca?" Luna said handing me a envelope. I opened the envelope to see it had money in it."Pleasure doing business with you Luna." I said walking off.

"Hey Rebecca aren't you going to the party?" Vanessa asked. "Um no I have to go to the bathroom." I said running to the bathroom. I closed the door and sat down on the floor hugging my knees.

"I miss you mom." I cried . "Hey are you okay?" Vanessa asked as she walked inside the bathroom. "Vanessa what do you want?" I asked. "Happy birthday." Vanessa answer handing me a cupcake with a candle on it and a baby blue box with a white bow on it.

"How did you know it was my birthday?" I asked. "I heard someone talking about it and this gift is for the ice vessel." Vanessa explained as she passed my the cupcake and the box.

"Please come back to me mom..." I whispered as I blew out the candle. "Here opened the present." Vanessa said eagered for me to open the box.

I opened the box the see it was a baby poler bear. "Hello child, my name is Rachel, you must be the ice vessel." The poler bear guessed as she jumped into my lap.

"Yes that's me." I answered to Rachel"Well in that case this is for you." Rachel said as she gave me a baby blue envelope.

Dear Rebecca,

My beloved daughter, if you found this box then be ready for a whole new spin on life. The polor bear is Rachel. She is my best friend but believe me she will teach you everything you need to know about ice magic. Now this new world is gonna bring a whole new life. But like I said in my last letter don't freeze your heart and let love in. Find a great man and fall in love. Please be safe.

"Well why are we standing here? We have to find the water vessel don't we?" I asked smiling as I picked up Rachel and Vanessa picked up Jessica. "WATER VESSEL!" We both said as a dark blue mist surrounded us and we teleported.

A whole new life huh? That doesn't sound half bad.
