At Emma's thirteen birthday she got a gift from her mother, a music box. Years before her mother also gave her the same music box and it has been a family heirloom since.

After Emma's birthday party she had a sleepover with her girlfriends and they had the best time of their life.

"Emma truth or dare" said one of her friends

"Come on guys" Emma said frowning

"I hate this game" said another,

" Don't be a wussy lets just play" said her bestie

"Alright alright truth" Emma said in defeat

"Ugh, fine is it true that you kissed Jason" asked one of the girls "No way" Emma said blushing

"OMG you are so lyi-" her friend gets interrupted by her friends' mother

"LESLIE, GIRLS TIME FOR BED!" Leslie mother says "ALRIGHT MOM. Guess we gotta sleep" Leslie says grabbing her covers and laying down.

As the night starts rising Emma hears a thud coming from her bag "what was that" Emma whispers, she looks at her bag deciding whether to go check what just made that noise or go back to sleep, she choose to go back to sleep. A few minutes later she hears a thud again but louder and more like a song? Emma wakes up and looks at her bag but......her bag was in front of her, she opens her bag and her music box is playing she sets her bag down and puts the music box on top of the counter. Again after a few minutes she fell asleep, she heard the same sound so she ignored it.

Morning arrived and Emma got up earlier than the other girls and went to the restroom, when she got there she saw something written on the mirror
HELLO EMMA

Emma screamed and the girls woke up and ran to the bathroom "WHAT WHATS WRONG IS THERE A FIRE" said Leslie in panic,

then Emma points to the mirror and the girls didn't see anything then Emma turned to the mirror and saw nothing but her reflection

"But...Butt....I saw-" Emma stuttered in shock

"Emma it was probably a bug" one of the girls said.

Emma went back home early that day and took out her Music box and threw it away,
Later that night........

"Emma where's the music box I gave you" Emma's mother asked

"In my- closet" Emma said looking away from her mother

"Then why do I have it in my hands" Emma's mother said holding the music box"

"Mom I-"

"Emma my mother gave this to me and you just thew it away," Emma's mother says in disappointment "Am gonna leave this here".

Around night time Emma just sat on her bed hearing music and looking at her music box. She gets up and goes to grab the music box, she opens it and looks at her reflection through the tiny mirror in the box. She then starts to turn the little wheel and music starts playing. When the music almost finished she sees in the reflection a black figure behind her. Then when she turns around she sees nothing but when she turns back to look at the mirror the figure is closer. She immediately closes the box and runs to her bed, she stares at the box then finally falls asleep.

Emma wakes up and sees the box next to her but it's still night time

"What? But.....it felt like I slept for a long time" Emma says to herself

"Hello darling," A voice said

"Wh-who are you?" Emma asks sounding frighten

"YOUR NIGHTMARE" it says with a voice so deep like the devil himself

Emma wakes up and grabs the box and throws it our her window.

The next day Emma wakes up calming after her dream last night and sees the music box on top of her counter. She start getting scared, so she gets dressed and goes to her garage. She grabs a hammer and places the box on the floor, she first stomped on it a few times but it wouldn't budge. So when she was finally gonna smash it to pieces her mother walks in

"Hey Emma have you seen my-" Emma's mother stares at her look at the box on the floor and the hammer in her hand " Wha-what are you doing Emma "

"Mother I must destroy this, something is not right with this-this thing" Emma says reading to slash the box, but gets stopped by her mother

"EMMA THATS A CHILD!!" She grabs the child and runs for the door

As her mother is dialing 911 Emma grabs the phone and throws it across the room

"MOTHER GIVE ME THE BOX!" Emma says sounding like a demon

Emma's mother is frighten in fear and continues running down the block with the child in her arms.

Emma's mother hides the child in an abandoned house and she hides in another room

"MOTHER,WHERE ARRRRE YOU" Emma says in a devilish voice laughing

Emma's mother catches a glimpse of her daughter but.......that wasn't her daughter anymore

Emma finds her mother in a closet and grabs her by the neck

"THERE YOU ARE, WHERES THE CHILD"

"I...ill....nev....never......te.....tell....you" she says struggling to catch her breath

Emma slits her mothers throat and drops her body and the floor. Emma then finds the child crying in fear

"DONT BE AFRIDE CHILD.....HEHE I TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU"

The police come and start shooting at Emma but they missed, Emma rips out the two officers hearts out, Emma then proceeds to speak to the child but finds that she has disappeared. Emma falls to the ground,

"Where-where am I" Emma says confused, she looks at a glowing red figure in front of her

"You have done well child" the figure says not breaking contact. The figure starts walking towards her, and Emma see the box and sees something written on the bottom

"Faling, perdio, amash-" the figure then stops

"STOP!"

"Amor, vete, demonio"

"STOP NOW!!"

"FALING, PERDIO, AMASH, AMOR, VETE, DEMONIO"

She then opens the box and the figure stares at it and when Emma closed the box the figure wasn't there anymore.

10 years later......

A family of five where doing a garage sale, and a little girl was looking a toy because it was her birthday, she then finds this magnificent music box and opens it and it start playing

"Mommy mommy I want this one" the little girl says holding the music box in her hand

The mother turns around and looks at what her daughter was holding, she then starts to get memories of what happened 10 years ago.....

"Emma sweetie put the back, I'll buy you a Barbie house instead, ok?"

"Ok mommy".

As they were leaving the little girl snuck the music box in her pocket and when they were on their way home she opens the box and start twisting the little wheel and music start playing. She then drops the box when they were doing a turn and she finds strange words at the bottom. She then start reading aloud, and her mother turns to stop her from finishing those words they get into a car crash.......

The music box was the only thing that survived the crash, and when the found it, the music was still playing.........
