Very gory story. I think. I have no idea. I guess it's up to you. It was a dream I had. I think I'm going crazy.

"Happy birthday to you!" They sang at the little girl in front of them.

"Wow you're already 6! You're such a big girl now." Her aunt told her "no boyfriends alright?"

The little girl giggled and shook her head.

"sorry aunty no promises. I'm dating Joshua!" She smiled

Just then a little boy ran up to her holding her hand.

"Hello ma'am" he piped

She chuckled as she patted his head. It was probably just a little kid thing.

"Well how old are you?" She asked

"I just turned 7!" He said holding up 7 fingers.

"Okay kids! Let's go play outside!" The little girls mother yelled

Everyone ran towards the door and out onto the back. Their house wasn't fenced in and their backyard was connected to the woods.

"Remember no running in the woods. You could gt lost" she warned

10 minutes later

"Come on Y/n it'll be fun!" Joshua yelled

"No! Mommy said there's a monster there." She whined

"Monster? If there is I'll protect you! I'm a big boy" he replied

"Okay. I'm a big girl too"

The two 'lovebirds' walked inside the woods. They stumbled upon a small opening where the sun wasn't visible.

"Woah. There's no trees here. Why is there no sun?" Y/n wondered

"I don't know but I'll protect you"

Y/n nodded as she gripped onto his hand. Suddenly the air became dense and cold. Their hair stood on their skin. Footsteps could be heard from multiple directions. But it didn't sound like any of the people of the party looking for them. To them it sounded like one person.

"Joshua I'm scared" y/n cried

"Let's go" He said

They started to run towards her house. Just as they were about to reach the edge of the forest. A black line grabbed onto Joshua's foot.

"NOO!!" Y/n yelled "JOSHUA"

She grabbed his hand pulling him back.

"Y/N LET GO!"

"NO. I DON'T WANT TO LET GO!"

"LET GO! I PROMISED TO PROTECT YOU. HOW WILL I DO THAT IF YOU WON'T LET GO!" He yelled

Tears cascaded down as she let go. Everything was in slow motion. She looked up to see a black faceless figure pulling her Joshua away from her. She looked at him once more to see him smile. He mouthed "i love you" before he disappeared. Y/n turned around and stared to run.

"MOOOOM!" She yelled

She ran as fast as her little feet could carry her. Her startled family running to her.

"Sweety where's Joshua?" She asked

"It took him! Mommy we have to save him! It took him!" She cried

"Honey what took him" her father asked

"The monster"

They both looked at each other and their face paled.

"Everyone inside now! Get inside now." Her father yelled

"NO WHAT ABOUT JOSHUA WE NEED TO SAVE HIM" she yelled

As everyone was inside y/n's mother had to hold her down. She kept muttering words to herself.

"It's back. It's really back"

"Mom! Joshua!" Y/n screamed

"Joshua's dead! He's dead the it probably already killed him!" She yelled "why did you go in there anyways! I specifically told you not to!"

"It?!"

"The head hunter"

That day little y/n cried to herself as the police came. They had a full on search to look for Joshua as she wouldn't stop calling his name. Sure enough they found the body of a little boy. His head was missing.

No one goes in the woods again. Y/n never got to see her boyfriends body as it was too gruesome. If she did then she would know that wasn't his body. It wasn't his clothes and the body didn't have his bracelet. The one she gave him for his 7th birthday. She wouldn't know that Joshua is still alive looking for her.

It was a dream i had where it was my birthday party and i had a boyfriend named another name. I was a kid and i saw these woods. We both walked in to meet a monster and he gets taken. I was safe but we had a wide search for him and only found a decapitated body of a boy. I protested that it wasn't him. It really wasn't. Then later i go back in to find him again. But that was like 9 years later cause we're both teenagers now. He told me how he escaped and that he's been looking for me. He also said that there were a lot more people who are still alive that have been taken. So we all save em. Weird story i need a life sometimes.
