A few years ago, I was putting my friend's daughter to bed for the night. She was about 3 years old at the time, and she was fighting about going to sleep. She asked me why she had to go to bed, and I told her it was because it was late and it's time for little girls to go to bed and get a good night's rest. She then pointed across the room at nothing and asked, "what about that little girl?"
