It was a long dark night in the middle of my town I had just gotten home from work and had decided to watch a little bit of TV before going to bed I was single with no children and I live alone. It was about 1:30 am and I thought that it would be about time for me to get ready to go to bed since I had a busy day with some friends the next day. But that is when i heard my door bell ring. I questioned who would be at my door at 1:30 in the morning unless it was a major emergency. "Hello!" I said peaking through  the tiny whole in the door as I had it cracked open. "Hello." A little girls voice spoke back. "Who are you?" I asked in a soft voice thinking maybe it was the kids from next door. "I am emily and this is my sister Sara we were wondering around the neighbourhood playing with some other kids and got lost can we come in and use your phone to call our parents." At first this sounded a little strange what kids would be out at this dark of hour shouldn't they be in bed. I stopped and thought for a moment thinking maybe it would be best to have the cops take them home. "I can call 911 and have them help you get home." I replyed a little scared and suspicious to the girl. "Dont be frightened mam please let us in we wont hurt you." The other girl who was much more pale and shorter than the other girl said in a sweet voice. That's when I picked up my phone my hands shaking and looking through the whole. "I'm sorry but I dont think my boyfriend would be very happy about me letting kids in while he tries to sleep." I lied with my hands shaking and holding onto the phone. "Come on you have to let us in we know your home alone and that your scared." That's when I opened the door a little more to get a better look. Both girls had dark black eyes that look like they had no life into them. That was a night I will never forget I called the cops for the girls to be no where to be found but they had gotten many reports of the same girls with black eyes from reporting neighbours.
