Real Life

When I arrived at the photo shoot a week after the first table reading, I was greeted by the hair and makeup team that does mine, Sophia, and Finn's hair and makeup. I was also greeted by mine and Sophia's costume designer, Daisy.

I briefly met the photographer, Mark, before I was pulled away by Daisy. She handed me an outfit, before pointing to the room I could change in.

Daisy is hands down one of my favorite costume designers that I've worked with. She's hilarious, blunt as hell, and a brilliant designer. Daisy is the person you go to when you need to vent or are in need of advice. In a way, she's become the unofficial therapist for the cast and crew. The blue haired woman has also become somewhat of the 'set mom', with her constant fussing and scolding of the cast.

I shimmied into the orange shorts and multicolored windbreaker jacket, before slipping the red high top Converse onto my feet. As I walked towards the hair and makeup area, I put on the gold hoop earrings.

"Hey, Mari!" I turned towards the chair to the left of me and found a familiar red headed girl getting her makeup done.

"Hey, Sophia! Are you ready for the group shots?" I asked the sixteen year old actress with a bright smile.

"Yeah, let's just hope that they don't make Bill wear his Pennywise costume and makeup for a lot of the shots." She told me honestly, which made me laugh slightly.

It wasn't a secret that Bill in his Pennywise gear, kinda freaked out our younger costars. In their defense, he does look really creepy and it doesn't help that he has to wear it all day while we're filming scenes.

However, Bill tries to make up for it by giving them hugs after scenes where Pennywise would pop up and scare their characters. He also asks the kids if they need anything or was just genuinely nice to them.

"I think they're going to make him wear it for a few shots, but let him dress normally for the group cast shots." I admitted with a warm smile towards the girl.

"Besides if it starts to freak you out too much, remember that it's just Bill. The sweet, goofy Bill that we've all grown to love." I consoled her as one of the hair stylists, Trinity, started to curl my brunette locks.

"Some of us more than others." Sophia teased, sending a smirk my way.

"And what's that supposed to mean, Miss Lilis?" I asked the five foot girl, raising an eyebrow in questioning.

"Don't think the rest of us haven't seen the flirting, the little glances and smiles when you both think that the other isn't looking." The sixteen year old told me with a grin and raised eyebrows.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, Niña." I lied, trying to stop the blush that threatened to appear on my cheeks.

"Yes, you do." She stated bluntly, rolling her blue eyes at me. "You like Bill and Bill likes you, but you're both too stubborn to admit it."

"I do not have a crush on Bill." I lied, trying and failing to not give it away. "I mean it's Bill! Sweet, dorky, and unnaturally tall, Bill!"

"The sweet, dorky, and unnaturally tall Bill, that you have a massive crush on."

"You're delusional." I deadpanned, sending the redhead a blank look.

"Jack agrees with me." Sophia stated smugly with a knowing smirk, making me roll my eyes.

"Well, you're both delusional." I replied in a huff, as the makeup artist started to apply my foundation. "Anyway, are you excited for the shoot?"

"Don't think I don't see you changing the subject, Cruz." She chuckled, pointing an accusing finger at me. "But yes, I'm excited for the photo shoot."

"They're always a lot of fun, that's for sure!" I laughed with a grin. "You should try doing a photo shoot with an older sibling, it's guaranteed to be a blast!"

"I bet!" The redhead laughed, as our stylists finished our hair and makeup. "Come on, let's go meet with the boys."
