"Cass have you moved my robes!" Draco shouted as he peered out his door.

"No, I think Cissy might have given them to dobby to clean. Mine are gone too" cassie came out of her room and into dracos.

"I wish she would tell me before she moved things" he ran a hand through his hair looking frazzled.

"Why are you two shouting I could hear you from the study" Lucius stood in the door way.

"Have you seen our robes dad" Draco looked up from his bed.

"The elf cleaned them last night so you can look the part when you both step of the train" he gave a smug look.

"Are you coming with us to the station Lucius" cassie asked as she fiddled with Draco's desk.

"No- I have an important meeting in work so I won't be able too" he placed a hand on his sons shoulder, "I'll see you both at Christmas"

He left and Cassie rolled her eyes in annoyance as she usually did whenever her brother-in-law was involved. Cassie went down to the kitchen where she could usually find dobby and was instantly blown away by the amount of breakfast food that was laid out.

"Little miss your breakfast is all ready, will the little master be down soon" dobby smiled from ear to ear looking up at her.

"He's just finishing up his packing and then he'll be down. Now I'm going to miss you when I'm off to hogwarts so I want you to sit down and have some food with me" she took his hand and sat at the table with him.

"Dobby doesn't think that's a good idea, master Malfoy will not be happy" he frowned.

"Well frankly I don't care what that arsehole thinks, besides he's already left for the day. What would you like?" She took a waffle from the tray and covered it in chocolate spread and peanut butter.

Dobby just stared up at her and then looked over to the plate of fruit.

"Fruit it is" she nodded and piled strawberries, raspberries, grapes, apple slices and melon into a bowl and placed it infront of him. "Eat, go ahead"

Finally like he was waiting for the other shoe to drop but realised it wouldn't he tucked in and ate the whole bowl and then Cassie buttered him some toast.

"Thank you little miss"

"Your always welcome, now if that stupid blonde freak is horrible to you while I'm gone you just tell me when I'm back home and I'll kill him in his sleep okay?" She took both his hands again and smiled warmly.

"Dobby thinks that would get you into trouble and that is the last thing dobby wants"

"Well your my friend dobby and I would do it for you in a heart beat" without warning she wrapped her arms around the tiny elf and gave him the biggest hug she could.

A few minutes later Draco and Narcissa came into the kitchen and Draco thanked dobby earning a smile from Cassie and they all had breakfast.

"Now that were all fed and ready to go here are your robes to change into on the train" Narcissa handed them each a little bag. "I've also put your wands and some money in there too so you can buy some snacks on the train"

"Thanks mum" Draco smiled and made his way upstairs to check he hadn't left anything.

"Cassie I've also put a calming drought in your bag just in case your nerves take over" she reached out her hand and ran it along the cuff on her sisters wrist.

"Thanks, I think Draco might need it more than me though" she half laughed.

"I'm going to miss you two, and I know the pair of you are just as independent as eachother but I want you to look out for eachother okay" she cupped her hands around Cassies face.

"I will always look out for him. Always" she nodded, gave her sister a smile and followed Draco.

Once she had gotten Holstein into his carrier and her things were loaded into the car they were finally on their way to the station.

When the three of them had arrived at the station Narcissa had started to get sentimental and both Cassiopeia and Draco were eager to get away from her before she burst into tears so they gave her hugs and made their way though the train in search of a good compartment. They were half an hour early and knew none of their friends would be here yet so they got comfortable.

Soon enough Pansy joined them and fussed over Holstein who was fast asleep in his carrier, Cassie was watching the station outside fill up and she spotted the unmistakable and rather ugly hat that belonged to Nevilles grandmother. She excused herself from Draco and Pansy's conversation and made her way off the train to meet him.

"Good morning Ms Longbottom it's fantastic to see you again" cassie greeted the old woman who looked like she was shouting at her grandson.

"Hello darling, you really are pretty you know" she rambled forgetting about Neville who was turning redder by the minute.

"I've got us a compartment already Nev, I can't wait for you too meet everyone" she smiled taking the boys hand in hers.

"Well, I'll see you at Christmas gran" he gave her a hug.

"See you at Christmas and don't loose Trevor" she frowned at the toad that he was carrying, "Cass it's been a pleasure, you really must come and visit some time" she turned on her heel and disappeared into the crowd.

"Thank god you turned up I think she was just about to take me home" Neville half laughed.

"Like I'd let her do that, we have seats just down here come on" cassie took the boys hand again.

They made their way through the crowd and then Cassie heard her name being shouted from behind the pair, she turned to look and spotted Blaise instantly as he was already taller than almost every first year around.

"Neville this is Blaise, Blaise this is Neville" cassie introduced the two.

"Alright mate" Blaise shook the hand that wasn't holding his toad.

"Hi" Neville greeted him quietly.

"Oh look at her, did you settle on a name" cassie was crouched down sticking her hand into blaises cat carrier.

"I went through a few but I think pixie fits her the best" he nodded towards the kitten.

"Because of her eyes" Neville leant down to see her too.

"Exactly" Blaise chirped with a smile on his face.

"Come on let's go and sit" cassie turned and lead the two boys to the carriage.

When they got back Theo had joined Draco and Pansy and they were all chatting, Holstein was on Theo's lap.

"Why do you have a hold of my son" Cassie folded her arms and playfully scowled at Theo.

"I'm not an animal person but this little guy seems to like me" he shrugged.

Cassie took a seat next to him and Pansy stood up and wrapped her arms around Neville.

"Nice to see you again freckles" she said making him laugh.

"Everyone this is my friend Neville, Nev you already know Pansy. This is Theodore and Draco"

"Wait there a minute" Draco stood with a quizzing look, "I know you"

"Oh it's you, from st Mungos" Neville had a shocked look on his face.

"Oh my- I didn't think I'd ever see you again" Draco gasped.

"You two know eachother" cassie scrunched her brows.

"I wouldn't say we know eachother, when you were in your coma I spent a lot of time in the hospital and we played chess together" Draco looked from the boy to his auntie.

"I didn't know what had happened when you stopped coming, that place is boring without you" Neville took a seat next to Cassie.

"I woke up is what happened" cassie laughed sadisticly.

The group continued to chat as the train pulled away from the station, when Blaise came into the compartment with pixie, Holstein perked up instantly so the two kittens were took out of their carriers and were allowed to play on the floor making everyone swoon.

With about an hour and a half left of the train journey they all changed into their robes, Pansy and Cassie both went to the bathroom to change whilst the boys used the carriage. When the girls returned all three four boys were looking underneath and inside of everything and Neville was in a rather panicked state.

"What's happening" Pansy questioned.

"Trevor got out and we can't find him" Neville replied tearing through his trunk.

"Well let's split up Neville you stay here in case he comes back" cassie said but was interrupted by Draco.

"He's a toad Cass not a dog they don't just come back when they're bored"

"Oh shut up, you just stay here with Neville, Blaise you come with me and Pansy take Theo and we'll take opposite sides of the train." She nodded and turned to leave with Blaise following.

The two of them looked everywhere until cassie started to panic and she could feel it again. That fire in her stomach threatening to bubble over so Blaise sat her on the floor and asked a group in a compartment if they had any water. A girl their age appeared at the door with her wand in hand, curls untamed and an excited glint in her eye.

"Here's some water" she sank down so she was sitting next to Cassie, "I think your having a panic attack just take deep breaths"

The girl motioned for Cassie to copy her breathing and Blaise stood looking worried. She put her hands on cassies knees and lifted them so that they were bent to her chest.

"Carry on with the breaths and try putting your head here" she patted her knees.

Five minutes later Cassiopeia's internal fire had calmed and she was able to stand and talk again. The other girl helped her up and Blaise wrapped an arm around her to steady her.

"Are you okay?" The girl gave her a half smile.

"We're looking for my friend Neville's Toad and I just need to find him or his gran will probably kill him" she blinked the water from her eyes.

"Your in no condition to be searching for a tiny toad," she put her hands on her hips "why don't you take her back to your compartment and I'll help search the rest of the train" she spoke to Blaise.

"That sounds like a good idea" Blaise gave the girl a sympathetic smile.

"I'm Hermione by the way" she patted cassies arm.

"I'm Blaise and this is Cassie"

"Thank you so much for helping us" Cassie finally made eye contact with her.

"It's my pleasure, we're going to be at hogwarts soon you better go and have a rest" she turned away with her hair bouncing behind her.

Blaise practically carried her back down the train and Draco nearly had a heart attack himself when he saw his auntie, he quizzed the two of them making sure it was no one that had made her this way and Cassie told him to go and calm down before he freaked out even more than she had so he rolled his eyes and left.

"Nev could you pass me my bag please" cassie pointed to the bag under the seat.

He handed over the bag and she rooted around it eventually finding the vial she was looking for. She uncorked it and ignored Blaise and Nevilles questions of what it was until she had finished off the bottle.

"Calming drought, Narcissa thought it would come in handy. Guess she was right" cassie looked down to the black and white spotted kitten that had crawled into her lap.

Shortly after Theo and Pansy came back into the compartment having had no luck finding Trevor. When they told the two what had happened Pansy scooted Blaise from the space next to Cassie and took a hold of her hand whilst Cassie rested her head on her shoulder.

The train was getting closer and closer to hogwarts so Blaise put Holstein and pixie in their carriers to be taken up to the castle with their luggage. Draco finally returned with Crabbe and Goyle behind him and he apologised for freaking Cassie out more. She told him to stop being an idiot and hugged him tightly. Draco took his seat next too Neville and the group waited restlessly all ecstatic to finally get to hogwarts.
