Thinking about Mindy and how sad she would be if he left her soon hurt too much. I let my mind wander.

"He's..." I didn't want any long conversations, "A jerk. I don't like him okay?" Inside I knew I was lying and I didn't like it. Inside I knew a big part of me didn't think he was a jerk anymore and I didn't like it.

"Alright, alright." She smiled.

It was disgusting.

And yet I was a little envious.
