I was miserable for the entire day. I never had any friends at school before, but with Jerry, something was different.

It seemed like he actually cared.

But I guess not.

I feel like such an idiot for actually believing him.

Like I believed my parents. Like I believed Liam.

"When will I go home?" I asked, not able to stop crying.

"I don't know. And I don't care."

"I want to see my mom and dad"

"Your mom and dad killed my mom! I will never help you!"

"But that's not my fault!"

"It is! Are you so dumb?"

"Please help me!"

"No! If it weren't for you, my mom would be here!"

"Liam..."

He began to leave the room, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND? YOU ARE A MURDERER."

A deeper voice spoke, "Liam! Come on out. I'll deal with the girl."

I began screaming, "Liam, please, he's gonna hurt me!"

"You deserve it."

When school ended, I was too tired to do anything. I went right home. I didn't even want to see Jerry or Liam.

But when I got home, I could hear my foster parents talking in the kitchen. A girl I had never seen before was sitting on the couch in my living room.

And skarg, she was gorgeous.

She looked a bit like my foster mom, and if I didn't know better, I would have thought she was my foster parents' biological daughter. But I knew my foster parents didn't have any biological children, which was why they even fostered.

But then, who was she?
