"How bad could it possibly be? Neither of you are evil people."

I looked at Jerry. Poor guy. He's completely blinded by Harmony.

"How do you know that? You barely know her. But I know her. Her true self."

Harmony looked at me with the most puzzling expression possible. The dumb girl. She couldn't possibly not know what I meant. Or she knew exactly what I meant.

I don't talk to my father very often. But my mom used to always tell me stories.

A long time ago, there existed two gangs--the Vipers and the Axis. Apparently my dad belonged to the Vipers.

The Axis gang destroyed everything. They crashed my parents' engagement party and their wedding. They trashed their house. They did everything they could to make my parents' lives miserable.

And my parents were tired of them. So they did the only thing they could do.

The Axis leader had a daughter. She was my age.

Little did my dad know that the Axis leader would go as far as kill my mother to save his daughter.

I didn't know what to think when I first met Harmony. She was nice enough. But--but--but...
