I blinked my eyes open slowly letting them adjust to the bright white light. I looked around wondering where I was. There was a wire in my arm attached to an IV drip. My breathing picked up when I realized I was in a hospital.

The last thing I remembered was being in the car with Niall. There was nobody in the room with me, and I immediately assumed the worst. What if Jason had me, wouldn't Niall be waiting for me to wake up if he was here.

My breathing was still panicked, and I was starting to get a little lightheaded. I tried to calm down and take deep breaths, but it wasn't much help.

I heard the door click and my head snapped up to see who it was. Niall, he had a smile on his face as he came towards me.

"Niall." I said urgently. My voice was so hourse it came out really quietly. I reached out with my arms which suddenly felt like led.

"Hey, hey it's okay." He said coming over and wrapping his arms around me.

"Niall what happened?"

"You passed out at the restaurant." He pulled away and sat beside me on the bed.

My breathing had slowed now that I knew I wasn't in danger. He rested his hand on top of mine to comfort me.

"Oh." Was all I said.

"The doctor said dehydration and a virus made you pass out." He said with a look I couldn't decipher on his face." You should have told me if you weren't feeling well, we didn't have to go."

"I know, but I wasn't feeling that bad and I didn't want to ruin our date."

"I know you didn't but your health is way more important then a date." He said squeezing my hand." Please don't scare me like that again."

"I won't I'm sorry." I said. I felt bad I had made him worry about me.

"Thank you." He whispered placing a soft gentle kiss on my forehead.

"Do the rest of the boys know?" I wondered.

"Yes they should be here soon Eleanor to." He said reminding me Eleanor was leaving today.

I didn't say anything and the silence that hung between us wasn't awkward, but somehow comforting.

I looked up from our clasped hands, Niall had a small smile on his face and he was staring at me.

"What?" I asked he was now starting to look at me a little weird.

"Oh nothing." He said blinking and regaining his normal face.

"Totally not nothing." I said and he blushed.

"Okay maybe I was staring at you because you're really beautiful." He looked down with a nervous smile.

"Aww thanks, but there are so many people more beautiful than me." I said thinking of Eleanor.

"Yeah, but you're the only one that makes my heart beat a little faster, and my skin tingle where you've touched. You're the only one I see as beautiful." He whispered looking up at me with a sparkle in his eye.

My eyes widened in shock. I was speechless, he really thought that of me?

"Thank you Niall, you do the same to me." I said quietly. My heart was beating so loud he could probably hear it. There was a warmth in his eyes that made me feel loved.

He leaned in and kissed me. He put his hand on the back of my head and I let my hand trail through his hair. I felt him smile into the kiss then pull away.

"You know? They probably have cameras in here." He said with a little laugh.

"Oh god they probably do." I said covering my mouth with my hand. Gosh, they were gonna see us kissing.

"Oh well." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"JESS!" Louis screamed running in and shoving Niall aside so he could hug me.

"Lou." I said hugging him tightly.

"I was so worried are you okay?" He asked a worried look on his face.

"Yeah I'm good now." I replied with a smile to reassure him.

"Good." He said giving me another hug.

"There's my girl." Eleanor said coming over and giving me a hug.

"Hey El." I said and gave her a smile.

"I'm glad your okay."

"Me to, I'm sorry you should be spending time with Louis before you have to go tonight." I felt bad she was here when she could be doing something fun with him.

"Jess its fine. It's more important to come and see you. Louis agreed." She said patting my arm.

"Okay." I said looking down.

"I won't be able to stay for long though." She said with a sad smile.

"Okay, as long as I get to say bye." I blinked back the tears threatening to spill over.

"El we have to go if we're going to make your flight." Louis said from the beside Niall who was in the corner giving us some space.

"Bye Jess I'm going to miss you so much." She said and gave me a hug so tight I thought my lungs would burst.

"Me to, I love you and stay safe." I said squeezing her equally hard.

"Thank you for being an amazing friend." She said pulling away and looking me in the eyes.

"Thank you to. Now go before you miss your flight." Or I start crying I thought.

"Okay bye." She said grabbing Louis hand and waving at me with the other.

She left and I started crying into my hands. I was going to miss her so much, skyping someone wasn't the same as her being there and her hugs were the best.

"Hey it's okay you can call her." Niall said and I heard his footsteps as he walked over to me.

"It's not the same." I said as I wiped my eyes.

"I know if there's anything I can do." He said rubbing my back.

I nodded and grabbed a tissue from the box beside my bed. I blew my nose and wiped my eyes.

"Do you want to see Harry and Liam?" He asked me.

"Yeah send them in oh, and how long do I have to stay here?" I wondered.

"The doctor said till 8:00 tonight."

"Okay." I was stuck here for how many more hours speaking of time, I didn't even know what time it was. I looked around for a clock and spotted one on the far left of the wall it was only 1:00. Who knows why they had to keep my here for seven more hours.

"We can watch a movie if you want." Niall suggested.

"I don't want to make you wait here, I'll be fine." I said although I kind of wished he would stay with me.

"It's fine I'll stay. I'll go get Liam and Harry then we can watch a movie." He said with a smile.

"Okay thanks."

He nodded and left to go get them. A few seconds later they came in with Niall trailing.

"Hey Jess, I'm glad your okay." Liam said coming over and gently hugging me like I might break if he squeezed me to hard.

I smiled at his caring tone. Harry was standing in the corner and came over once Liam pulled away.

"Hey." He said a hint of a smile at the corner of his mouth.

"Hey curly." I said with a smirk.

He smirked and shoved my shoulder gently. He grabbed me in a warm hug.

"I'm glad you're good, I was worried when Niall called and told us you were in the hospital." He rubbed my back and placed a soft kiss on my temple.

"Thanks, I'm glad to." I said with a smile.

Liam gave me a wave and walked out, Harry followed throwing a wink my way.

"Ready for a movie?" Niall asked coming over and setting on the chair beside the bed.

"Sure."

Niall put on a movie and I lay down relaxing. Before I knew it I was snoring softly.

"Jess, Jess." Niall said softly.

I gave a little groan and opened my eyes. He had turned off the bright white light so I wasn't blinded.

"Hey love." He said with a smile.

"Hey can I leave now?" I asked well mumbled.

"No it's dinner, so I'll have to go get something your nurse is coming in a few minutes." He smiled and started towards the door.

"Wait will you come back then?" I asked holding up my hand.

"Of course babe." He said turning and walking back over to give me a peck on the lips. He left and I waited for my nurse. I realized I sounded like a needy, clingy girlfriend, but I just felt safer with him.

"Hey Jessica!" A girl around my age with a bright, cheery smile said enthusiastically as she came in." My name's Jenny." She introduced herself." What would you liked for dinner?"

"Nice to meet you Jenny." I said warmly." What do you have?" I asked politely.

"Well here's a menu." She said with the same enthusiasm as before, it seemed she had an endless supply of it. She handed me a pamphlet with dinner items listed on the back.

I scanned the menu and mac and cheese jumped out at me.

"I'll take mac and cheese with some fruit salad please." I said feeling like I was ordering from a restaurant.

"Okay I'll have that out in a minute." She chirped.

She came back a few minutes later with my dinner and I thanked her before diving in. It was delicious mac and cheese, not to mention the fruit salad. Which was made with nice fresh fruit.

I was halfway through when someone knocked on my door. I was puzzled as to why they didn't just come in.

"Come in." I said loud enough for whoever it was to hear me.

"Hey." Niall said coming in and taking a seat on the chair.

"Hey you could have just came in." I said with a little laugh.

"True, how is your supper?" He asked gesturing towards my half gone plate.

"Oh it's great. How was yours?"

"Pretty good I had a sandwich from the café downstairs."

"Sounds good." I kind of felt bad that he had to eat hospital food while waiting for me.

"Well it's only one more hour till you can go." He said with a smile.

"Really?" I asked it was still three hours till eight and I wondered if he was mistaken.

"Yep, the doctor said you can leave early."

"Oh thats great less time in this hell-hole." I said before taking a few bites of my dinner.

"Yeah, the doctor just has to check on you after you are finished with your dinner."

"Okay, are you going to stay?"

"Yeah I'll stay." He said with a smile.

"Okay thanks."

"No problem. I have something for you when we get home. I was going to give it to during our lunch date, but, well you know how that turned out." He said with a light smile.

"Aww you didn't have to get me something."

"No, but I wanted to you're my beautiful girlfriend after all."

I blushed and continued eating. I was scraping my plate when the door clicked open.

"Hello Jessica." A man, I presume the doctor, said as he walked over.

"Hello."

"Are you ready for your check up?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah." I said pushing away my tray.

"I'm going to have to ask you to leave sir." He said to Niall.

"Okay see you in a bit Jess." Niall said leaving the room.

The doctor checked me, and declared I was good to go. He told me to take more care about staying hydrated. I said I would and he left the room after taking out my IV drip.

"Hey ready to get out of here?" Niall asked coming in.

"Definitely." I said with some excitement. I mean who isn't excited to get out of the hospital.

"Here you go." He handed me a pair of sweats and a T-shirt.

"Umm where did my other clothes go?"

"Liam took them home with him."

"Okay. Let me go put these on." I got up and went to the bathroom.

I stripped off the hospital gown, and pulled on the soft pants and the T-shirt. The T-shirt didn't look familiar and was a little big, it also smelled different. I tried to place the smell and realized it smelled like Niall and was probably his shirt. I smiled at the thought.

I grabbed the gown of the ground where I had thrown it and walked out into the room. I threw the grown on the bed glad to be rid of it.

"Ready to go?" Niall asked smiling.

"Yeah." I said not mentioning how I loved to wear one of his shirts.
