Our lips brushed, and it felt electric. His lips were warm and soft against mine. He pulled away and I opened my eyes. His kiss was so sweet, and though this sounds weird it felt genuine. I wasn't used to someone kissing me lovingly.

Involuntarily a tear slipped out. I quickly wiped it away hoping he wouldn't see.

"What's wrong love?" He asked looking worried.

"It's just no one has ever kissed me like that before, I know it's a stupid thing to cry about." I said blushing.

"Jess, that's not stupid." He said gently touching my face and lifting my head so I was looking into his eyes.

He smiled at me and I couldn't resist smiling back.

"Jess will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course Niall!" I was happy and I really could tell he was different from Jason. It was time I trusted someone again.

"Thank you." He said his eyes lighting up. He leaned in and kissed my cheek softly. I blushed and he chuckled.

"What's funny?" I asked him.

"Oh, you're just so cute when you blush." He said blushing himself.

"Thanks." I said managing to keep myself from blushing again.

"Your welcome." He said warmly.

"So, should we tell everyone right away?" I asked nervously biting my lip.

"I don't know I was thinking we were going to." He looked at me for approval.

"Okay, yeah that'll be fine." I said smiling. I was so nervous how they would react, but if being with him made me happy they should be happy.

"You sure?" He asked grabbing my hand.

"Yep I'm sure." I said more firmly.

"Okay." He said smiling." What should we do?"

"I don't know." I said shrugging.

"Want to head back?"

"Sure, I guess." I said hesitantly. I was super nervous about telling everyone.

"Okay let's go." He said standing up.

I stood up still holding his hand.

"Oh wait." I said, it would be so cute to take a picture of our hands together.

"What?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"I'm gonna take a picture quick." I said and he relaxed.

He let go of my hand, but I grabbed hold of his again.

"I want to take one of our hands." I said blushing at how dumb the idea sounded.

"Oh, okay." He said holding my hand again.

I held my camera with my other hand and snapped a picture with the park bench as a background.

"Got it!" I said showing him the picture. It had turned out pretty good, I really liked it.

"Wow, that looks amazing." He said his eyes widening.

"Thanks." I said turning off my camera.

We walked back holding hands and talking. I felt pretty comfortable around him, especially since I had opened up. So I actually talked, it reminded me of when we went sightseeing when I had first moved in with them. Though it wasn't that long ago a lot had changed. Then I didn't utter a word, now I had no problem talking to Niall.

We arrived at the house a few minutes later, it was around lunchtime so we decided to eat lunch then probably just chill out till tonight, which I had no clue if me and El where going or not.

"Who knows what's going on inside." Niall said laughing.

"I was just thinking the same." I said laughing along.

He let go of my hand so he could open the door. I couldn't hear any noise so that was a good sign. Normally if Louis was home you could hear him or El through the door.

"Anybody home?" Niall called as he went in slowly.

Nobody responded, I followed him in. Looks like we were safe from Louis craze for now. Niall walked around the floor we were on, and came back shrugging at me.

"Well looks like everyone's out." He said.

"I'll go check upstairs. Could you start lunch?" I asked him heading upstairs.

"Sure." He said winking and going into the kitchen.

I went upstairs everyone's doors were open and their rooms were vacant. So I guess we did have the house to ourselves. Don't get me wrong I love Louis, but sometimes it's nice to have a little peace and quiet in the house. And me being introverted I needed my own space sometimes.

"Nobody up here, so I guess it's just us for lunch." I called down.

"Okay." Niall yelled back.

I went downstairs wondering what Niall had started to make. I walked into the kitchen, and started laughing. Niall had mustard and mayonnaise on his face, and he was intently placing ham on two slices of bread.

"What?" He asked looking offended." Why are you laughing at me?" He pretended to wipe away a tear.

"You got a little something there." I said laughing and pointing at his face.

"I know." He said winking and smirking.

I knew he knew like how could you just get that all over your face without realizing it?
He came over to me with a look of mischief.

"What are you- oh no you don't!" I exclaimed realizing he was going to wipe some on my face. I ran into the living room and stood behind the couch.

" I'm coming, to eat you aliveee." He moaned. He was stumbling into the room pretending to be a zombie. He had mustard on his left hand and mayonnaise on his right.

I ran upstairs and he followed me. I was laughing the whole time because it was such a crazy thing. I went into my room and shut the door.

"Where are you?" He moaned and I heard him go into the rooms.

He opened my door and looked around quickly spotting me on my floor.

"Haha I found you." He said coming towards me.

"Nooo." I shrieked as he patted my face with his hands, covering me with mustard and mayonnaise." You are evil!" I said as he stood up laughing.

"That's me." He said smirking.

I stood up and wiped some off my face. I went towards him glaring at him. He ran away screaming like a little girl.

"AHH save me." He said waving his arms around and running downstairs.

"I will get you." I said pumping my fist into the air and running after him. I found him in the kitchen huddled down on the floor.

"No please dont kill me." He said pretending to sob." I surrender." He threw a white napkin at me.

"Nobody will save you now." I said trying not to laugh. I grabbed the two piece of bread and stuck them on his face.

"Ahhh I'm a sandwich."

I snorted and started laughing. I couldn't help it, we were absolutely crazy people. He stood up and started laughing to.

"We are crazy." He said shaking his head still laughing

"Definitely" I managed to get out in between laughter.

I calmed down a little, and finished making the sandwiches. Niall went to the bathroom to wash off his face after he had thrown the bread from his face away. He came back out with his face clean and plopped down on a stool.

"Niall oh my gosh! You were like a real life Snapchat filter." I said grinning.

"Oh god, I guess I did look like that." He said chuckling." And we didn't even take a picture."

"We were to busy having fun." I said grabbing two plates to put the sandwiches on.

"Yeah, oh well." He said shrugging.

"We could easily recreate that." I said smirking.

"No!" He said right away." No I'm good no need to." He took his sandwich.

"Okay." I smiled and took my plate to sit beside him.

We ate in silence, mostly because Niall was stuffing his face full of food and couldn't talk, but that's besides the point. I finished my sandwich and grabbed an apple from the fruit basket.

"I'm going to go read a book." I said cleaning off my plate. Sure today was super fun, but like I said. I love my alone time, and well, I actually sort of needed alone time. Otherwise I got really stressed.

"Okay, you don't want to hang out anymore?"

"Nah, it's nothing against you, I just need my alone time." I said hoping he wouldn't be mad at me for not wanting to hang out with him.

"Oh okay, have fun." He said giving me a little wave.

"Bye." I said wiggling my fingers, and walking upstairs. I put on some calm music and opened my book. I was currently reading 13 reasons. Which I was absolutely in love with. I read while munching on my apple.

I managed to finish the half of the book I had left in an hour. I closed it and put it down on my night stand. I hadn't heard anyone come in, so I assumed they were still out. I went downstairs looking for Niall. He was in the living room eating some chips and watching the TV.

"Hey Niall." I said quietly.

"Jess! Your back well you never left, but you know what I mean. How was you book?" He rambled. I smiled at how cute it was.

"It was good. What have you been doing?" I asked him. I sat beside him on the couch.

"Just watching some TV and munching." He said putting his arm around me.

"Cool." I said not surprised he had been eating. He loved his food all right.

"So do you know when-" I started, but I was interrupted by Louis yelling. Well I guess my question was answered about one of them.

"And there's your answer." Niall said laughing.

"JESS!" Louis yelled running in and hugging me. Which was really awkward since I was sitting.

"Hey Lou." I said ruffling his hair.

"Hey Jess, sorry about my crazy boyfriend." El said coming into the living room smiling.

"Hey, how was your date or whatever you call it?" I asked. Louis had let go of me and went to stand beside El. He put his arm around her waist.

"Oh, it was great!" El said looking happy.

"We went shopping which took forrreevveeerr!" Louis said drawing out the forever and looking exasperated.

"Hey, it didn't take that long." El said nudging him.

"Sureee." Louis said." And after that we went out to lunch."

"Cool, sounds like you guys had fun!" I said wondering were the shopping bags were.

"Yes! I need to show you what I got Jess!" El practically squealed.

"Okay let's go." I said getting up and walking over.

"The bags are in the kitchen." She said grabbing my hand and pulling me along.

"There's no rush." I said laughing.

"Yes they might disappear." She said giggling.

"You never know in this house." I said which was true. The boys were known for pranks and stuff like that.

"Very true."

There were three bags from various stores on the kitchen floor.

"Wow, you certainly got a lot."

"Shut up it isn't that much." She said laughing. She picked up two bags one in each bag, and I grabbed the last one. We carried them upstairs and she took them to my room.

"Now let me show you what I got." She said dropping hers on the floor. I set mine down more gently and sat down beside it.

"Okay!" I said as she sat beside me.

She pulled out a really cute skater dress with a heart cut-out in the back.

"Oh my gosh! It's so cute." I said wishing I had one.

"I know right? Thats why..." She said pulling out another one." I got you one to."

"No way? Thanks so much." I squealed taking it from her." Wait how did you know my size?" I asked puzzled.

"Umm... I may have looked through your dresses." She said looking at me sheepishly.

"Oh, okay. I'm totally fine with that I just didn't want you wasting your money on something that wouldn't fit me." I said knowing she was probably a few sizes smaller then me.

"Okay phew. I didn't want to make you mad." She said handing it to me.

"Nah it's all good. Thanks so much." I said smiling and setting it on my bed." You didn't have to get me one."

"I know, but I wanted to! Plus think of it as a parting gift." She said and her face dropped.

"Oh, you're going to leave soon?" I asked my face falling as well. I really didn't want her to go.

"Yeah, two days. I'm going to miss you so much." She said." But we'll stay in touch right?" She asked.

"Of course! We'll text all the time and we can FaceTime."

"Okay!" She said smiling again.

"Oh and guess what?" I said I was going to tell her about Niall and I. I thought it was appropriate to tell my best friend first.

"WHAT? TELL MEEEE." She screamed in my ear.

"Geez calm down." I said laughing.

"Okay, okay but tell me!" She said loudly but thankfully not shouting.

"Okay, Niall asked me to be his girlfriend!" I said excitedly.

"No way? Omg!! You guys are perfect together! I'm so happy." She said hugging me.

"I know me to!"

"AHH I can't believe it!" She said smiling.

I smiled back glad she was happy about it.

"Okay, want to get back to looking at clothes?" She asked still sounding extremely happy.

"Sure!" I said I couldn't wait to see what other clothes she had got. She had an amazing sense of style.

We looked at all her clothes that she bought for half an hour. Yes, that's how many clothes she had. Not to mention, she kept telling me which things would go best with what.

"Wow, you really did get a lot." I said once she had finished showing me the last thing.

"I know, but I couldn't resist they have so many good things!" She said putting all the clothes that were strewn across my floor back in the bags.

"Quick question how are you going to fit this all in your suitcase?" I asked she probably needed a whole new suitcase just for this.

"Oh yeah, well I may have to get another suitcase." She said laughing." I didn't even think of that."

" That's what friends are for." I said smiling.

"Yes! I'm so grateful for you as a friend."

"Yeah me to!"  I felt guilty since I was keeping something from her, but I would tell her later.

"Oooo we should wear our matching dresses tonight for the show!"

"Okay!" I said I was just gonna ask her if we were going.

"It's an hour drive so they would be good because they're comfy." She said. She pulled hers out of the bag and stood up.

"I'll go get changed." She said starting towards the door.

"You can get changed in here if you want then we can do each other's hair and stuff." I suggested.

"Okay sounds good!" She said." Let me take these bags over." She picked up to of the bags and was about to grab the third when I grabbed it.

"I got it." I said picking it up.

"Thanks!"

We walked over to her and Louis room and set the bags on the floor.
