"Jessica, Jessica" Someone whispered shaking my shoulders gently. I shot up and pushed his hands off my shoulders.

"What." I whispered blinking and rubbing my eyes. Once my vision had cleared I saw it was Niall.

"Dinner is ready."

"Okay."

"Um I'll just go down and get some food come down whenever you want." He said awkwardly, walking out of my room.

I sighed I was really comfortable and didn't want to get up. I got out of bed and reluctantly turned my music off.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen where all the boys were sitting on various things.

"HEY JESSIE." Louis shouted. I flinched my boyfriend had called me Jessie and him saying it brought back many unwanted memories.

"Please don't call me Jessie." I said quietly.

"Oh sorry." Louis said.

"It's okay." I walked over to the counter and scooped some mac and cheese onto my plate.

"You can sit by me and Niall ." Liam said." Though be careful Niall might try to steal your food."

"Okay." I said smiling slightly.

"So where are you from?" Niall asked in his soft accent.

"Umm I'm from Montana."

"Cool."

"DO YOU LIKE CARROTS I LIKE CARROTS." Louis yelled I guess I was going to have to get used to him yelling all the time it still startled me a bit though.

"Yes." I said

"Yes she is mine, we are gonna be best friends." Louis said.

"Uh okay." I said unsure of how to react.

"How old are you." Harry asked more quietly.

"18."

"21." Niall said.

"Same." Liam said that was kind of odd they didn't look like twins or anything.

"24" Louis said that really surprised me he was the least mature of them all.

"21" Harry said last I actually thought Harry was the oldest. Guess I was wrong.

"So are you brothers?" I asked. Taking a seat beside Niall and Liam around the table.

Niall laughed and laughed at that eventually falling off his chair. The other boys soon joined him rolling around on the floor clutching their stomachs laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked thinking they were laughing at me. I took a deep breath and forced back the tears threatening to spill over.

"Well we aren't exactly brothers but we act like it." Liam said. He was the first to regain his composure and was back in his seat.

"We are actually in a band called one direction." He said." I thought you would know that."

I shook my head no feeling silly for never hearing of them.

"Oh that's fine." He said.

"I don't really like this and I'm not really hungry." I said lying I loved Mac and cheese and was starving but I was already too fat. Plus with jet lag catching up to me I didn't feel like eating then I'd have to exercise all the more. I yawned quickly covering my mouth so he wouldn't see.

"It's okay love if you're sure you're not hungry looks like you need some sleep." Liam said kindly.

"Ok." I said. I pushed my chair back and stood up heading upstairs.

"Sleep good love." Louis yelled up the steps.

I got to my room and opened the door laying on the bed and almost immediately falling asleep.

"Beep beep beep." Louis said like an alarm clock.

"5 more minutes." I mumbled into my pillow.

"Love you've been saying that for the last 30 minutes." He said laughing.

"Fine." I sighed and sat up rubbing my eyes.

"I'm getting ready." I said shooing him out of my room.

I jumped in the shower washing my hair and body and just soaking in the hot water letting it run down my back. I got out and wrapped a towel around my body. I went back to my room and realized I hadn't unpacked yet. I rummaged through my suitcase for clothes and pulled some on.

I went downstairs unsure of what I would find.

"Hello Jessica love." Harry said, he was flipping pancakes and Niall was shoveling down pancakes and syrup like it was the end of the world.

"Sleep well?" Harry asked.

I nodded wondering where Louis and Liam where. Oh and my uncle Simon.

"If you're wondering where the others are they are arranging where Simon is gonna stay you kinda took his room. He slept on the couch last night." He said.

"Oh." I said feeling bad for taking his room.

"You wanna take a walk around today." Niall asked done stuffing his face.

"Sure."

"Don't forget your breakfast." Harry said handing me a plate with two pancakes on.

"Thanks." I said giving a hint of a smile.

"No problem." He smiled cheekily at me.

I sat at the table and slowly ate my pancakes plain not wanting to eat all the fatty syrup and butter stuff. I finished and set my plate in the sink.

"Come on." Niall said waiting by the door.

I walked over and he opened the door for me I walked out waiting for him to say bye and come after me.

"So first we are going to go see some famous sites if that's fine with you?" He said well kinda asked.

I shook my head yes and followed him.

"So when's your birthday?" He asked.

"July 21."

"Cool that's in two weeks we'll have to celebrate with the boys." He said excitedly.

"Mhmm."

"You don't talk much do you?" He asked bluntly.

I shook my head no confirming his question.

"But that's fine sometimes I just like someone to listen to and understand me. Know what I mean?"

I shook my head even though I haven't ever had someone like that in my life I wish I had a friend like that but sadly I didn't. When you were shy like me no one ever cared to listen all they did was talk.

"My birthday's on September 13." He said." I have a brother but my parents are divorced so I don't see my father much. Do you have any siblings."

I shook my head no.

"Oh." He said looking surprised." Look that's the London eye." He  pointed to a big Ferris wheel. It was stunning, the size of it. Of course I've seen pictures and heard of it, but seeing it in real life was way more impressive.

"Wanna go for a ride?" He asked.

I shook my head. I was terrified of heights.

"Okay that's fine." He said reassuringly. We talked for a bit more, well him talking me listening.

"We should get back for lunch. I'm getting hungry what about you?" He asked.

I shrugged I was a little hungry but not much. He was the type of person who was always hungry so I assumed we would head back.

"Okay well let's get going back it'll take a little bit since we're walking."

On the walk back he told me about how he met the boys and how they became a band. Things about himself and I listened happy to not be talking. I walked a couple feet away from him still unsure the whole time.

"Here we are." He said opening the door for me.

I walked inside tensing up waiting for Louis to jump out or something, but it was actually quiet.

"Hey love did you have fun!?" Liam asked from the living room where he was sitting on the couch.

I nodded walking to the kitchen. Harry was standing near the counter and Simon was sitting on the couch watching TV.

"Hi want a cupcake and sandwich?" Harry asked.

I shook my head yes and he handed me a plate.

"So how do you like it with the boys?" Simon asked from behind me.

I took the plate from Harry and turned around. I shrugged it was okay but I'm guessing living with just him would be a little boring.

"So do you want to stay here?" He asked.

I nodded setting my plate on the table. I would probably eventually warm up to the guys.

"Okay I'll be leaving then take good care of her boys." He stood up and flicked off the television.

He then came over and enveloped me in a hug. I stiffened up and held my breath waiting for him to let go.

"I'm really sorry about Katherine she meant a lot to me also I'm sure you'll love the boys okay bye now love." He said kissing my head and stepping back.I let out the breath I was holding glad to be let out of his hug. Sure he did, he hadn't visited my mother once since I had been born. He was always too busy. What a lie that she meant a lot to him, they hardly knew each other. I let out a breath trying to stay calm. I guess he was just trying to be sympathetic.

"Bye." Louis said jumping on and giving him a hug.

The others more calmly walked over, gave him a hug, and said bye.

"So wanna have a movie marathon?" Louis yelled in my ear. I backed away and nodded.
"Yah come-on boys." He vaulted  over the back of the couch.

"Can we watch buzz light year." Liam asked.

"Sure if Jessica wants to." Harry said." But don't you ever get tired of that movie.

"Nope." Liam said popping the p.

"Is it fine with you?" Niall asked from the table.

I turned around and saw him eating my sandwich and cupcake.I glared at him and put my hands on my hips.

"Sorry." He said blushing." You weren't eating." He shrugged like it was nothing.

I sat on the chair by myself and slipped my shoes off. The boys settled down on the couches, and started the movie.

"Do you want to sit with me." Niall asked patting the empty space beside him.

I shook my head no and he sighed. I felt bad but I just wasn't ready to cuddle with anybody or really socialize.

Before I knew it the credits were rolling and my eyes were barely open. I shut them as the boys put in another movie and I drifted off to sleep.
