Twenty-five
It had been a week after the couple's date, and Harry had survived the week without hurting himself. He had wanted to a couple of times, and almost reopened one by pushing on it, but he hadn't let it get so bad that he actually did it. Plus, ever since that one night where Anne had found him in a fight against his mind she made sure to keep an eye on him, and hid all the razors that she could.
Harry had just finished eating breakfast when he got a call, his phone buzzing against the table. He picked it up, and instantly smiled as he quickly downed his pill, and then answered the phone.
"Hi," he spoke, waiting for the other person's voice.
"Hi!" Louis chirped, "can you hang out today?" he asked. Harry looked across the kitchen at his mum, who knowingly nodded, smiling to herself.
"Yea, I can, do you want to uh come over here or...?" Harry asked, his voice trailing off. He heard some shuffling in the background, and then there was a knock on the door. Harry furrowed his eyebrows, confused as to why Louis hadn't responded to him, though when his mum answered the door, there stood the blue eyed boy. Harry then understood that it just had to be something important.
The younger boy stood up, and walked to his boyfriend, who smiled and hugged him, "How are you, love?" Louis asked, curiosity swirling around within his eyes. And it made Harry grin over his success.
"I've been clean all week," he mumbled, with a slight smile that just grew bigger when his boyfriend beamed brightly at him, and embraced him into his arms.
"I've noticed, I'm so proud of you!" he praised, and pressed his lips to Harry's, who smiled into it, breaking the kiss. "I need to talk to you about something," he told Harry, and guided him up into his room.
Harry took a seat on his bed, and gently pulled Louis down with him, so that he was sat across from him, their knees touching. "You know how seniors go on a trip, right? Did they have that at your old school?" Louis asked, to which Harry just nodded. "Okay, well not everyone is going, but me and Ed and Niall signed up. W-We uh found out the information on the trip and I'm going to Greece, along with Niall and Ed. Uhm, I already spoke with Josh, you remember him, right?" Another nod from Harry. "Good. I talked to him and told him not to let Zayn and Sam near you during school because both of them were like banned from going on the trip because of the things they did. He said he would make sure you don't get bullied at all, and I know that you probably don't want to have him looking over you, but I just can't see you get hurt again, especially when I'm not there with you. Please tell me you're okay with that."
Harry just sighed, playing with Louis' small hands in his lap, "I uhm, I don't want to have to like, be babysat by him, but if it makes you feel better then I guess it's okay," he told the older boy, and then struggled on his words, "Uhm, when you like, uh, I-I don't w-want you eh to uhm," he paused, "I'm going to miss you. A l-lot. I don't want to be alone all the time," he mumbled, speaking in a low manner, embarrassed of how little friends he had.
"You won't be alone though, I'll text you and call you and video chat with you. And trust me I'll be sending lots of pictures," Louis assured, leaning his forehead against Harry's, who fluttered his eyes shut. "And what about your best friend Liam?" he asked.
Harry opened his eyes, "I haven't talked to him in a while," he muttered, "but I like hanging with you too," he said right after, making sure he didn't sound like he wanted to hang out with his other friend instead.
Louis chuckled, "I know, love," he pecked Harry's awaiting lips.
"When do you leave?" Harry questioned, and it was something about how Louis sighed heavily that made him nervous. "Louis?"
"Three days," the older boy whispered, and moved his gaze down to his lap, avoiding the look of sadness and disappointment that filled his boyfriend's face.
"Three days?" Harry squeaked. "W-Why didn't you t-tell me? That's s-s-so soon, when did you f-find out?" he asked, his stuttering returning to his sudden jittery and nervous state.
"The day after our date," Louis murmured, "but I didn't want to tell you because then I was afraid that you would worry too much. I didn't want you to worry because then you get distracted and start to doubt yourself and I hate when you doubt yourself because then the voices get bad and you might hurt yourself!" Louis told him, and took ahold of the boy's cheeks, "I don't want you to hurt yourself," he whimpered.
"B-But now I am worrying! Even more so because now there's not enough days to spend with you until you leave!" he pulled away weakly from the boy's grasp. "And there was even flyers with the dates for when you leave hung around the whole school too! How could I be so stupid not to see those?!" he exclaimed, and his fingers ran roughly through his hair, tugging slightly on the ends.
"No! You're not stupid at all!" Louis cooed, stepping forwards and wrapping his arms around Harry against his will. The younger boy, hugged Louis back, digging his head into the older boy's neck as he was held tight to his chest. "You're not stupid," Louis repeated, running his fingers comfortingly through the unruly curls in front of him, letting Harry calm down.
"I'm sorry," he mumbled, and appreciated it a lot when his boyfriend brought his head up, kissing him softly.
"Don't be, you're fine," Louis mumbled against his lips, kissing him again.

Meanwhile Anne had heard just a little bit of the boy's conversation when passing in the hall. She wanted to check up on them, but was afraid that they would be fighting and that she would have made it worse by coming in. So she felt good again when she peeped through the slightly open door and saw Louis in Harry's bed, with his arms wrapped around the younger boy, who was cuddled into his chest.
