○ Chapter 5 ○
Chat Noir's P.O.V
I knocked at Marinette's trap door again. I visited 2 days ago, and in all honesty I'm extremely worried for her. I've never seen her like that before, not as Adrien, not as Chat (Not that we really talked whilst I was Chat anyways.)
It took a while, but soon enough the trap door swung open. The blue-bell eyed beauty was stood there on the ladder, with confusion running through her pupils. "Chat?" She must've been surprised I came back after last time.
"Hey there, purrincess. Can I come in?" I smirked, waiting for the response. She hesitantly let me in, and I sat on the floor.
I knew what was wrong, it was her father. Luckily enough, I knew exactly how to sort this out.
"So, what was your father like?" I said out of the blue, causing her to jump.
"U-uh...well, I'm n-not so sure I-I'm comfortable with talking about this certain subject...hehe..." She giggled nervously, then frowned. I stood up from the floor and walked over to her.
"You know, Mari. You can tell me anything. This has happened before...with my Mum. I'm here for you. I know how you feel, I'm here to help. Trust me, talking makes everything better." I placed my hand on her shoulder. She looked at the hand and frowned deeper.
"B-But..I'm just..nervous." She shivered, biting her lip once it quivered.
"Come on, Mari...Do you trust me?" I don't get why she would trust me, we didn't know each other well when I'm Chat. But, I guess I'm the only one that can properly understand.
"Alright...I'll talk about him.." She sighed, giving in. She sat on the floor, and crossed her legs. I did the same.
"My Father..he was amazing. He was sweet, kind, generous, he understood me. He was my definition of happiness...and now that's all gone." She puts each arm on the opposite shoulder. From the corner of my eye, I saw a red thing fly by but brushed it off.
"What did you do together?" I questioned. She looked down at the floor.
"We played a video game every Wednesday, and every Sunday We'd watch a movie together." She giggled, wiping away a tear. "It was amazing."
"Well, It's Sunday now...Wanna watch something?" I requested. Maybe this would make her feel better!
"I-I don't know.." She sniffled. Maybe it was a bad idea after all.
"Well, I'm gonna leave now - before my miraculous runs out. I'll see ya some day, Princess." I waved as I left from the rooftop.
Luckily, I had a plan.
