"I think she might be the real deal, master!" The bubbly red creature said.

"The story she is telling us seems like it. The song says it all too." Wayzz, Master Fu's Kwami, followed into the conversation.

"We'll have to think about this more. Thank you for informing us, Tikki. I hope Marinette is going well." Master Fu waved.

"Thank you for listening!" Tikki flew out the window and made her way home.

"Tikki, where on earth have you been?" Tikki was about to explain to Marinette's question, but she got interrupted, "We can talk about that later, until then, I think it's time to go on patrol."

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Tikki was concerned, the fabric of the ladybug suit might hurt her with the amount the scars she had.

"Positive."

"Alright then, let's get this show on the road!" Tikki gleamed.

"Tikki, Spots On!"

Chat sat there at the usual meeting place, waiting and hoping she'd finally turn up. It's been so long since he had talked to Ladybug, let alone seen her.

Ladybug swung to the roof, landing silently. Chat hadn't noticed her, he was still looking gloomy.

Ladybug sneaked over behind him, and whispered, "Miss me?"

Chat's eyes widened. "Ladybug?!" He gasped and turned. "Oh my god, you're here!" He rose and hugged her hard. It felt like centuries since they last saw each other.

"Ha, yeah... Sorry about that. I've just... Had a lot on my mind?" Ladybug tried not to sound suspicious.

"Well, I've had a lot on my mind too. Hey, can we talk?" Chat sat on the edge of the roof, swinging his legs back and forth of the edge slightly.

"Of course!" His Lady sat next to him, swinging her feet in sync with his. "What about?"

"Well, it's not my business to delve into her issues and talk about them. But, there's this girl called Marinette." Ladybug internally gasped when he said her name. "And I've been helping her for quite some time. And honestly, I feel really strange when I'm with her..."

"What do you mean by 'strange', Chat?" Ladybug tilted her head slightly.

"When I'm with her, I feel like my heart is beating out of my chest. I feel like I'm flying, drifting in the air. When I'm with her, I can give you the definition of blue that comes from her diamond eyes. It's so blue, I get lost in them..." Chat sighed as he rested his head on his hand, which was being secured by his elbow on his knee.

'Is he in love with me...?' Ladybug thought. 'Surely not...Maybe if I mention love though?'

"Hate to admit it, but you sound like you're in love with this Marinette girl..." She furrowed her eyebrows and pursed her lips.

"Love? That's something I've never felt for another...not since something happened to my Mother." Ladybug didn't bother asking what happened, since she already knew what he knew.

"Maybe this needs to have some thinking about?" Ladybug suggested.

'Thing is, I kind of feel the same way he does when I'm with him as Marinette...His eyes are emerald green, as if jade sequences have been sewn onto the grass'

"Honestly, Chat, I feel the same way about someone too..."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, I'm in love with him."
