Stormy makes her way down the hill with her eyes still fixated on the right hand side of the road.

"What is that?" Points out Toby.

"It looks like a person," as she focuses on the person waving their hands frantically in the air.

"Watch out. There is someone in the middle of the road," points Toby.

Stormy slows down and gradually makes her way closer to what resembles a scene of a car accident. The person on the side of the road has their arms waving frantically in the air to try and holler down a car.

Stormy notices the figure in the middle of the road has disappeared and the person trying to wave them down has collapsed. She puts her foot down on the accelerator and as she nears the accident comes to an abrupt halt.

"That's Seth car," yells Toby as he jumps out of Stormy's stopped car.

"Seth, Tera," yells Stormy, as she jumps out of her still running car and runs over to where the person collapsed.

Toby on the other hand runs to the front of the car and looks to see if he can find Seth.

"Tera," as she drops to the ground next to her sister.

Toby looks back and realises that it was Tera who collapsed.

Stormy tries to move her sister and she can only slightly move her. She uses her hands to try and cast her powers to make her move. As she moves her hand, she gets a burning sensation up and can't shoot out any power.

Ouch, that hurt. Why aren't my powers working? I need to move her. I don't have the strength to move her quickly without powers. Why is my hand burning every time I try and use my powers? Thinks Stormy as she tries again without her powers to move her sister. She moves her slightly more out of the way of the accident.

"Stormy, is she breathing?" As he reaches the driver side of the car.

"How do I know if she is breathing?" 

"Put your head down near her head, listen to see if you can hear her breathing out of her nose," he walks her through how to check if someone is breathing or not.

"Is she breathing?" Asks Toby, as he watches her listen for some breathing sounds.

"She is breathing, I think."

"Want me to come over and check for you?" as he starts to walk over towards her leaning over the top of her sister.

Stormy nods as she tries to find where the blood was coming from. Toby leans down next to Stormy and put his head down to Tera's face to see if she was breathing or not.

He brings his head back up and says, "She is breathing but struggling too. Find where the blood is coming from while I go check on Seth."

Stormy nods and feels around Tera's body to where she finds a deep cut on her right leg. It was the source of all the blood loss. Stormy rips a bit of her skirt and tries to wrap it around Tera's leg to stop the bleeding.

"I found where the bleeding is coming from and I tied a ripped part of my skirt around it. What do I do now?" As she strokes away a piece of blood stained hair from Tera's face.

"Check for a pulse," responds Toby as he checks for Seth's pulse.

Stormy places two fingers on Tera's neck and feels for a pulse.

"I feel a pulse. But it is very weak. Now what?" As she takes her fingers away from her sisters neck.

"Is she bleeding anywhere else?" As he tries to pull Seth from his car.

Stormy examines her sister again, this time she notices how bloodstained her fringe is. She pulls away her fringe and sees a 3cm wound that was trickling out with blood. There was also another graze on her cheek that had blood coming out of it.

"She's bleeding on her forehead," yells Stormy to Toby as she starts to hyperventilate.

Toby turns around, "How big is it? Keep calm Stormy."

Stormy turns her body towards him and makes a size with her fingers. Toby looks at her, turns back toward Seth and quickly gets him out of the car. He lies him down away from the car, does a quick examination on him and sees that he was bleeding on his forehead.

"I'm calling the ambulance. Just watch that wound on Tera's head okay?" announces Toby as he pulls out his phone.

"How long will they take to get here?"

"I don't know, just keep an eye on her," as he gets down next to Seth.

Stormy nods and watches over her sister.

"Toby I can't lose her, she is all the family I have left in Australia," pleads Stormy.

"Stormy, you won't lose her. I promise," he promises.

"000, what's your emergency?" asks the person on the other end of the phone.

"There has been an accident on Hillcrest Road, just over the hill. Please send an ambulance now," Screams Toby into the phone.

"The ambulance is on their way, are the occupants conscious?" asks the lady over the phone.

"No but they are both breathing," he responds.

"Toby, is the ambulance on their way?" Demands Stormy as she begins to cry.

"Yes Stormy, they are coming now. Don't cry."

"I'm hanging up," he yells as he hangs up the phone on the lady.

"When will they be here?" She sobs with tears falling over her sister's face.

"They will be here soon," responds Toby as he checks to see if Seth was still breathing.

Stormy lies down on the road surface facing Tera and says, "Tera, I know you probably can't hear. But I need you to know that I'm sorry about going off at you and that I love you. You are all I have left please don't leave me."

Stormy starts crying more heavily and pleads with her sister not to leave her.

"Seth bro, what have you done? You know not to drink and driving. Please bro don't die on us," As he looks at his best friend lying there unconscious.

"Toby, how is Seth?" As she wipes away some of her tears.

"He is breathing. How is Tera?" 

"She has blood all over costume, I don't know where her glasses are and her hair is more redder than ever," she sobs.

"Stormy, her glasses are over here. I will put them in my pocket," as he picks up her glasses and places them in his pocket

"Is her phone in the car?" questions Stormy.

Toby gets up and walks over to the car. He finds Tera's phone lying on the ground of the passenger side. He can smell the petrol leaking out of the car and quickly hurries back to Seth.

"It's here. I will put it in my pocket as well," as he places it in his pocket.

"Thank you Toby. Thanks for everything."

"It's okay. That's what friends are for," he smiles.

"But why be my friend after how I treated you tonight?" 

"I could see that you didn't mean it. I also saw how distressed you were after you realised that Tera was nowhere to be found. You really do care for her in your own way," he says.

You are right there Toby. I do care for her, she is all I have left of my parent's. It doesn't help that all of our family members are over in America. I never get to see them and they never contact us. They didn't even contact us when mum and dad died. I know mum always said that we are enough of the family she needed and that she didn't need their approval of how she lived her life. But I always wondered why they didn't talk to us or visit us. Now I will never know the truth about our family line, thinks Stormy as she stares at Tera.

"Thank you. I really do love Tera," as she manages to pull a half smile.

"Stormy, Tera will be fine. You won't lose her," responds Toby as he walks over to the side of the road to see if he can spot the ambulance.

"But what if I do lose her?"

"Don't think like that. Think positive thoughts," as he walks over to her.

"But I can't. I'm sorry."

"Just do it for her and for me," as he wraps his arms around her and kisses her forehead.

"Thank you for coming with me. If you didn't come I would probably be more of a wreck them I am now," as she holds on to his embrace.

"Stormy, I couldn't let you drive of by yourself with the way you were," as he kisses her forehead again.

She starts to cry and mumbles, "Thank you."

"Anytime. Wait, what's that coming over the hill," as he lets her go and points.

Stormy looks up and sees the flashing red and blue lights coming fast down the hill.

"Where are the sirens?" as she wipes her puffy face.

"They stop the sirens when they get close. Didn't you hear them before?"

Stormy shakes her head and watches the ambulance get closer.

"They will be down soon," as he squeezes her hand.

She squeezes his hand back and keeps her focus on the ambulance as it begins to slow down. Toby smiles at her and watches as the ambulance comes to a stand still right in front Stormy's car. The flashing red and blue lights light up the whole accident scene and Stormy can see more clearly how bad the wreck looks. She can see the blood smeared across the windscreen, the big crack up the elm tree and the puddle of petrol underneath the engine.
