Scarlett began walking towards Malachi's office and was stopped by Evan. "Maybe I should come with you."

"Just wait for me outside the door, the way he was looking at me I'm not so sure now that he would do anything to hurt me, he's protected me for years and I feel like he thinks that I may have deceived or mislead him in some way."

Evan sighed, not liking that she wants to go in there alone, but he knew that she would be able to handle him herself. She has a bit of a spitfire in her and won't take shit from anyone. "I'll wait for you outside the door then, please yell if you need me to come in." He says walking with her.

He stood against the wall, while she walked into Malachi's office. "You wanted to see me?" She asked as she walked inside.

"Please sit down."

He was sitting at his desk, he had a look on him that she was trying to figure out. He looked hurt in some way, guilty or just a look of feeling bad. He stood up and walked around his desk to stand in front of her, leaning against it "Candy, I just wanted to say that I know that you worked your ass off with Bambi, I was actually very surprised to see how well that she performed. Something that I wasn't expecting." He paused taking a deep breath.

"Please Malachi, don't make me do this." She begged quietly. She closed her eyes, feeling as if she were going to cry and placed her hands on her stomach.

"Please, let me finish.... I admire your dedication, all the years that you have worked here you worked your ass off, and encouraged the other dancers to be better than what they were. Her eyes opened quickly, she wasn't sure if she should smile, hug him, kiss him or even believe what she had just heard come out of his mouth "You're letting me go?" She asked surprised, smiling.

He pointed his finger at her "On one condition."

"What's that?" She asked sitting up straighter and crossing her legs.

"That after you have your baby-"

"Babies." She cut in, causing him to shake his head, not sure if he heard her right.

"Babies?" He asked surprised.

He had to chuckle "Wow!.. well OK, after you have your babies, then I would like to offer you a job helping the dancers, teaching them how to dance, to dance the pole right, and to be like you or even teach them to be better than you.... is that something that you would be interested in?"

"Now.. go on before I change my mind." He said, then smiled. "And take care of those babies."

She walked out of the office, smiling at Evan "Let's go." She said with excitement. She grabbed his hand and walked him over to Coco and Bambi, they were sitting at a table waiting to hear what the outcome was going to be. "Let's go girls."

"What did he say?" Coco asked, standing up.

They jumped up and down excitedly and stopped when they heard Malachi come into the room "Quit acting like a bunch of school girls, if you all don't get out of here I'm going to change my mind about everything, now move it." The girls looked at each other and bolted out of there, while Evan stood behind wanting to have a word with him.

He walked up to Malachi holding his hand out "Thank you for reconsidering." Malachi looked down at his hand before placing his hand in his to shake. "You're welcome.... But I do have a special request for you."

"Sure, what's that?"

"That you take special care of that girl. She's a wonderful woman, and has a big heart that is easily broken. I helped take care of her for about five years, she means the world to me and I would hate to see her hurt again... by you."

Evan shook his hand "Don't worry, I will be taking good care of her. She means the world to me, and I guess that's a thank you for all that you have done for her over the years, I know she has a little bit of fire inside her."

Malachi laughed "Is that what you call it?" He then breathed in deep and looked away "You know, she once told me about you years ago. You really hurt her-"

"She did? She talked about me to you? Just so that you are aware, I never meant to hurt her back then, what she thought happened then is completely different than what actually happened, and we have gotten past that."

"Let me finish." He said putting his hand up, stopping Evan from speaking "Coco filled me in about you, and what you were doing for her, I didn't know that you were who she had talked about long ago until I had you followed and investigated. I put the two and two together, I now realize that you are the one that she was in love with, and to this day who still has her heart. I did offer her a job after she has those babies." He put his hands up again when Evan tried to interrupt "A job to teach the girls how to dance and to dance the pole right, not for her to dance on stage."

Evan smiled, a sigh of relief came out of him and was at a loss for words. "I may have come out as an asshole, but it was my way of looking out for her, and to make sure that she wasn't making a mistake with you. I wanted to be sure that you weren't taking advantage of her. Do I have feelings for her? Sure I do, who wouldn't? She's beautiful, and just know that you're one lucky guy to have her." Malachi took a seat and kicked his feet up on the table. "Go take care of her, she's out there waiting for you."

"Thank you."

Evan left and quickly got in his car, he looked at Scarlett and smiled, and turned his head back to the girls in the back seat "Ready? Because I sure am, I have a surprise for my love and I don't want to be late."

Evan dropped the girls off and drove home, his excitement kept growing the closer that they got to being home. He took a hold of her hand and brought her hand up to his lips, kissing the top of her hand. "So what's this surprise you keep bringing up?" She asked.

"All I'll say is, when we get home, go pack yourself a bag. We're going on a vacation, far away from here."

She smiled and sat up straight shifting her body to look at him "Really, where?"

He chuckled "You'll see, just pack for warmer weather."

They got home, she quickly went inside and began packing. "How long are we going to be gone for?" She asked when Evan entered the room. 

"Just for four nights, it's just a quick getaway, I could only take a few days off of work. I would have loved to take a week or even longer vacation, but I'll save that for another day." He winked, walking to the closet and began going through the clothes that he'll be bringing.

Once they got to the airport, Evan made sure that she had no clue where they were going, she kept trying to get it out of him, begging for him to tell her. He covered her eyes when they got to the terminal, being that they were boarding already they were allowed to go on, still covering her eyes, winking at the employees as they walked by them.

He showed the flight attendant their tickets as they boarded, and helped direct her to her seat. He released his hands from her eyes and chuckled when she gave him a mad look. "You're so mean."

"I know, but you love it."

"Never been in first class before." She said looking around. I've always heard that it was the best, and they treat you like kings and queens."

He wrapped his arm around her and grinned "Yes, you're treated a lot different than if you were sitting in the coach section. I'd offer you a drink, but you can't have one." He mocked "Water?"

"You're such an ass." She giggled, giving him a playful shove. "Yes, I'll have a water."

Evan got up and talked with a flight attendant explaining that he was surprising her with where they were going, she gave him a set of earbuds for her to listen to music or to be able to watch the screen in front of her, as well as getting her a bottled water.

"Here, put these on." He hands her the earbuds.

"What are these for?"

"To listen to music, right here." He points, showing that she can change the station to what she would like. "Or to watch this." He points to the screen in front of her.

"I'm smarter than I look... I know what you're up to." She cupped the side of his face and looked in his eyes. "I will cover my ears with these, and I will not spoil what this plan of yours is. I will let you continue with surprising me with where we are going." She gave him a kiss and put the earbuds in and began listening to the music.

They finally were getting close to their destination after switching planes a couple times. Scarlett looked outside her window as they were approaching a couple Islands, curiosity was getting to her and looked over at Evan "OK I get it, you're taking me to some island, but which Island is it? Hawaii?"

He looked over her shoulder and out the window as they felt the landing gear come out, he looked at her and grinned, squeezing her thigh "We are going to Mo'orea."

"Mo'orea? Where the hell is that?"

He chuckled "It's an island off the coast of Tahiti. It's part of the society islands of the French Polynesia. We are actually landing in Tahiti, then taking a ferry over to the island."

She looked back out the window and was in awe from what she saw "It looks beautiful all the way up here, I've heard of Tahiti, but not Mo'orea."

"When I was looking for a romantic style island to visit, Mo'orea came up. I had never heard of it either, and did some searching of the island. I felt that it would be perfect and different from where everyone else goes."

After landing, they grabbed their luggage and began heading over to the ferry. Scarlett's eyes were glued to the landscaping as they were driven over to where the ferry leaves. She couldn't help but admire all of the colorful flowers and was just in awe with the scenery in general, taking several pictures.

They stood in line waiting for the ferry to arrive, Evan kept looking over at Scarlett, taking in all of her beauty. With the wind blowing her hair around, all he could think about was tearing her clothes off right then and there, and make love to her. "I'm excited already." She got excited when she turned around and saw that the ferry finally got back. She was curious as to what the island was like and wanted to see what he had planned for them.

The ferry took them over to the island, surprised that it went as fast as it did. They then headed for the hotel and checked into their bungalow, located on the water with a view of the mountains.

"Wow, Evan this is gorgeous!" She was in awe when she walked around the room, checking things out. She walked out onto the deck, looking at the green mountains across from them, with the turquoise colored water below she was amazed at how spectacular the view was, she pulled out her phone and started taking pictures.

"We will be here for three nights, then our last night we will stay in Tahiti." He said as he walked up behind her, rubbing her shoulders and arms. "Would you like to go out and see what we can find on the island?"
