   SYLVIA CARTER WAS ALWAYS A SWEET GIRL. when she was a young girl, many noted that she was far different from her older sister, Sharon. While her sister could be a bit hostile and guarded, Sylvia was sugary and affectionate. Despite their differences, the two were inseparable. They always had been. They were like two peas in a pod. And so, when Sylvia is forced to move from New York City to Washington, D.C. because of her sisters job, she is caught off guard by the change of pace.

WHEN SHARON IS THRUSTED INTO A WORLD OF SUPER SOLDIERS AND HEROS, Sylvia is forced to tag along. It isn't long before the pair crosses paths with Steve Rogers, the infamous man that had been asleep in ice for nearly seventy years. When they do, Steve can't help but find himself infatuated with the young Carter. She was gentle, and kind, and her imagination ran wild. Something that was rare to see in their day in time.

WHILE STEVE IS ON A MISSION to track down a dangerous rival called the Winter Soldier, Sylvia insists on tagging along, despite his protests. And so, Steve teaches her. He teaches her how to defend herself. The two venture along side one another while attempting to take down the assassin. In the midst of this, Sylvia finds herself stunned by her growing feelings for the super soldier, and is shocked to find that he feels the same way.

ONLY, THE UNIVERSE continues to find a way to pry them apart.

EXTRA CAST
Henry Sutter, a young man who obviously fancies Sylvia. he visits her at work often, doing his best to charm her. he's good looking, polite, and a bit shy. ( you can cast who you'd like ). The first couple chapters will be this dynamic. their interactions are innocent and sweet.

BACKSTORY :
Sylvia and sharon are roomates! Sylvie works in a flower shop in new york, so she spends most of her time there while her sister is working. She doesn't know what Sharon does for work! so far she thinks that her sister is a nurse. Sharon tells her that she is being relocated, so that's why they are forced to move. ( when sylvia does find out about sharon's position as an agent, it does drive a wedge between them). Sylvia is a bit naive, always choosing to look on the bright side. she likes to ramble, and seems to space out quite a bit while doing so. when she is frustrated or overwhelmed, she blows up, rambling about anything and everything that has been bothering her for the past few days, whether it be the way she's being treated unfairly to a chip in her nail polish.  she is a bright, innocent soul.

NOTES
this is a slowburn! ( not too slow ) Steve is not interested in sharon in this book at all. he will still have a thing with peggy, and he doesn't discover that they are related to peggy until her funeral ( captain america civil war ).

you can cast whoever you want as sharon and sylvia's parents! i was thinking Rosamund pike and billy Burk? i think they'd be a good fit. though, i'm pretty sure sharon's parents are dead?? you can decide what you'd like to do with that plot. whether they died while working in the field ( sylvia would think they got into an accident ) or if they're retired and a bit older.

anything that i haven't mentioned in this plot is up to your imagination!

ACT ONE
( captain america the winter soldier )
Sylvia and Sharon are still living in nyc. sylvia works at a flower shop, so she spends time there while sharon is working. When the carter's move, sharon and sylvia then move to washington, d.c. & meet steve, their next door neighbor. he is kind, and humble but a bit dismissive, but she insists on being beside him which kicks off their relationship. nick gets shot and steve finds out about sharon, but she pleads not to tell sylvia. sylvia finds out about the mission and insists on tagging along, forcing steve to teach her how to fight.

ACT TWO
( avengers age of ultron )
while the avengers fight the maximoff twins at the HYDRA facility, sylvia stays in the lab, like during most of their fights, as steve is protective. she offers her company and assumes it to be enough ( most of the time it is.) she grows a certain dynamic with each of the avengers. there has been a bit of a time jump, so her fighting skills have gotten better.

ACT THREE,
( captain america civil war )
sylvia is team cap. when she officially meets Bucky, she is very kind, and welcoming toward him. though she doesn't exactly agree with the accords, she stays by steve's side. During this, steve stays drawn to sylvia, clinging to her when times are most tough.

ACT FOUR
( avengers infinity wars )
starts a bit before the movie, giving a few chapters of the dynamic between sylvie and steve and what their relationship is like while trying to stay off of the radar. Sylvia joins the team in wakanda and finds herself fascinated by the technology. while learning about their tech, she fights with them against thanos' army.  sylvia doesn't get dusted, but her sister does.

ACT FIVE
( avengers endgame )
the light that sylvia once had was faded as the world crumbled. she is still morning the loss of her sister and close friends. when they discover the possibility of getting them back, she jumps at the chance, traveling into the past to fetch the infinity stones. sylvia attends nats funeral and is upset with the loss of her close friend. their ending could be happy? maybe them finally getting the chance to dance to their song ( mentioned above ).
