I quickly ran backstage for my 2 minute Quick Change into my Peacock dress.
I was so nervous. This was when I would sing the title song and have to attempt to tell Jon it was over. No pressure at all.

The intro started and I walk onstage to my spot. I really felt like Christine in that moment, I shook my head and turned to Colin who gave me a secret small smile. I then turned to Hugh who gave me a comforting nod. Jack was there with Lily in the wings and I'm pretty sure the Whole cast was watching.
Welp here we go.

(With great astonishment Jon Stares at me. I knew he had figured something out about what I've been wanting to tell him for so long. I do the right motions and gestures then I broke off, wanting to reach out to him, but unable to do so. I turned back to the audience - an audience that has no idea of what has just transpired in my life and with great difficutly, even though it is in my blocking, gathered myself and continued.)

I finish the song and the audience goes wild. There are cheers and so much applauding. I go backstage then enter into the "dressing room" where Hugh is supposed to Onstage kiss me. This time it was a real not staged kiss we shared.
I was content now. I had made my case clear to Jon. I had also seen his little pet there next to him. She can take him now. Honestly if Jon didn't get the message one way he'll get it another.
