Scarlet's POV

Well I would say the Audition went well. I sang Think of me for the casting panel and at the end they all said how wonderful I was as a singer and why I didn't try out in this profession sooner.

That had been 3 days ago so now I was hoping to get a call from Chase saying I booked it. Lily had to go through another audition for Meg a day after me so we were both really hoping I got the role of Christine so that we could debut together.
We were walking around a small park near the theater when Lily's phone rang.

"Hello" she said

" hi Lily"

"Oh hey Chase, what's up?"

" oh you know preparing for your national tour debut on Saturday."

Lily squealed, she was so happy she got the part.
"OMG really?!"
"Yes. They want you hear Tomorrow for rehearsals"

"Alright I'll be there!" Lily exclaimed

She hung up the phone and we both embraced each other. She was happy and so was I. We decided to go for ice cream to celebrate her role at a nearby ice cream shop. We were about to head across the street when my phone rang.

" hey wait lily" I said
Lily stopped wide eyed as I put the phone to my ear.

Before I could say anything I heard a tune on the other end of the line. It was the tune of The Coney Island Waltz. Then a voice said "congratulations Ms Anderson." Then the phone hung up.

" I can't believe it." I said
"You got...." Lily trailed off
I only could nod. We both Hugged each other knowing we would be debuting together as Christine and Meg.

We walked across the street and into the ice cream shop to celebrate.

Little did I know that a man was discreetly watching me the whole time.
