It was snowing in New York on a January morning. Scarlet had her auburn hair pulled back in a lose braid and now she had it tucked in her jacket as she was trying to make her way to the stage door of the Richard Rodgers theater when she heard a familiar voice calling out "Retreat". She turned to find Jon walking away from the theater, covered in snow.

"What are you doing, Lee? Get back on your feet!" Scarlet called out to him.

"But There's so much of it!" Jon called back to her, laughing.

They both headed for the stage door and went inside, laughing together. Inside it was warm and some of the other cast members were there- mainly Emmy, Thayne, Ariana, and Carleigh, who were standing around a box of cookies. Thayne discreetly gave Jon a wink as they passed.

Jon made his way to his dressing room and Scarlet followed him. The room was small but it held a dressing table, mirror, a grey couch, and a window leading out to a fire escape. Scarlet set her bag and black coat on the couch while Jon hung his coat and bag on a hook then shut the door, and locked it.

Jon suddenly had the urge to kiss Scarlet.
And so he did.

They both locked eyes then came close together. Jon put his hands around Scarlet's waist, Scarlet put her arms around Jon's neck and kissed him deeply.
Their lips moved in synchronization until Jon pulled apart.

"That wasn't supposed to happen" he said softly.
" But I loved that " Scarlet said.
And so they went back to kissing while the snow fell softly outside.
