Noah's POV

As Valarie concentrated she took all my power into Scarlet subconscious. The pink aura glowed as she pulled everyone inside Scarlet mind. It hurt like crazy.

As we got pulled in more deep I could feel our physical bodies falling down into deep slumber. Same with Valarie and Alex.

It will take a toll on us too. She was no expert. The translation was not smooth. It's generally done by Supreme Pink power holder or council but she tried her best. I and Alex was suffering most. She pulled us in more deep into Scarlet thoughts.

And landed us in a memory. It was the garden of their Mansion.

"Why are we here?" Alex asked.

"I don't know, i have no control in what Scarlet subconscious wants to show us."

"Why are we floating in the air?" Noah asked.

"Cause we are here in spiritual form." She said adding "First rule of subconscious travelling! No tampering with actual memory ok! And secondly we can only observe. Our intervention is strictly forbidden." She told us.
Our bodies were semi- transparent.

"This was the place where i met Scarlet first. " I spoke with a smile.

She tightened my grip on the broom and moved close. I stepped on a branch which made some sound. I noticed her and turned around. My face was covered with a mask 😷 and wore hat 🧢 She couldn't make out my face. She noticed i was holding a shovel in his hand?

I came close to me. She got scared and didn't waste time. "Aagghh, thief! Or a murderer! Take this!" She smashed the broom on top of my head.

I fell down.

She lifted the broom to hit me again when i gestured her to stop. She waited as I took off my mask and hat.

I laughed and smiled at her.

"I am sorry to have startled you. Actually i live here. I am student of Sokho Academy too. My name is Noah Rold. " he explained.

She apologised immediately."I am sorry! I just arrived here a few minutes ago and didn't know if anyone was here at the time. I didn't lock the door thought some thief came in."

"Its quite alright " i smiled.

"I didn't knew that a girl would be joining us?" I said.

"Yes actually..." She told me the whole story.

"Why are we seeing this?" Alex said me.

"This was the first day Scarlet meeting Noah and came to this academy. It must be a fond memory for her." I said.

The fog started coming and we were taken to a new memory.

It was Scarlet old house. I saw Scarlet small child. Running and playing around with with her brother.

Our bodies became more transparent.

"Valarie what happened to us?" Alex asked.

"As we are drawn to her deepest memories its taking a toll on our physical and mental health. We need to leave soon!"

"But we haven't found out the light yet... just a few more minutes Val." I said.

"I will try to hold in as much as i can, but we need to leave soon or our bodies outside will burn off cause of Energy and die!"

We dove in deeper.

Flashback:

"Bye mommy! "

"Bye my bunny." Scarlet mom dropped her off to play school.

"Jack, I bought your favourite lunch. Onigiri 🍙 "

"I don't want any! My mom said to stay away from you! Your a monster." The little boy threw the food on the ground. And our little scarlet with small tears picks its up.

I wanted to intervene but Valarie stopped me. "No Noah we can't tamper."

I clenched my fist. "I feel so helpless just to observe ..."

The fog came again and we dove to another memory.

Scarlet was sitting alone in class in the corner. No one was talking to her. Rest of the children were gossiping and making fun of her.

She was getting bullied too. Her books thrown away. Garbage thrown at her. I couldn't see any more of it. It hurt me to see her like this.

She came home crying."mom I don't wanna go to school, everyone makes fun of me."

"Aww my baby." She hugged her. "What do we know when someone who is hard on us?"

"Pain only makes you stronger." She said.

"Thats right uour my light, sweet. Pea."

"Why do they think i am a monster mommy?"

"They are just misunderstood sweetheart. Your the light always remember."

"I love you mommy."

"I love you too baby."

The fog covered again.

Our legs started to vanish.

"Guys we gotta go now! Or we will not recover." Valarie spoke worries.

"Hold on a sec Val, i feel it we are close."

Before they could stop me i dove in deeper leaving them behind. "Noah no—!" Alex screamed.

"Monster!" Everyone screamed and ran away.

"You kill our boy!!" The parents cried.

"I didn't mean to harm him, he was hurting the bunnies. I only wanted him to stop." Scarlet cried.

My half body started to vanish and it was getting heavy and difficult to breath.

Scarlet had killed a boy in her class. A 5 year old boy. Everyone was screaming at her. She got more scared.

She ran a ran away. She is so small scared and helpless. I couldn't help myself and went to her.

"Don't cry." I spoke.

She looked at me," are you an angel mommy tells me about? Did you come to punish me cause i did something bad?"

"Yes i am. No i didn't come to punish you sweetie. It was not your fault. You didn't do it intentionally."

"Why people hate me? Am i a monster?"

"No never!" I hugged her.

"Angel will you protect me?"

"Always, —remember look inside your heart. Your the light. Remember. You will always find me beside you."

"Thank you angel."

I couldn't breath anymore. My body was giving out.

Little scarlet spoke,"angel i will always be the light as you said. I will never bring sadness to anyone again. I will be a good girl."

"Good girl, my little scar. Its time for me to go now. I will see you again when your grown up. Wait for me." She nodded happily.

"Bye bye angel. Your my happiness." She smiled wiping her tears away. She summoned a golden fire. A golden aura glowed inside her and she fainted.

My body vanished. I couldn't l stay any longer. I got dragged out of the memory. As i was getting pulled out I could see all the memories of her till now. From her childhood to being born. From her parents getting killed to losing her brother. From foster home to getting into the academy till now. She faced so much in her life time. Still she is strong and kind.

I got pulled out of her body and back to my own and I opened my eyes gasping air and coughing.

"Noah! You fool why did you dove deeper! You could have died if i didn't pull us back in the right moment?!" Valarie scolded me and cried.

"Noah that was risky." Alex scolded me the same.

"I am sorry guys but i needed to see. To save her."

"Did tamper with her memories!" Valarie asked me.

"I am sorry Val, she was in pain I couldn't stop myself."

"Noah!! It's forbidden to tamper with memories! We don't know what effect it will have on the host!" She screamed.

"What you mean?"

"She is physically well. But she might have damage to her core memories! She might be okay or she could lose her memories all together!" She said worried.

"What! Do something!" Alex said!

"I cant do anything yet. We have to wait for her to wake up and see."she replied.

"I am sorry guys I couldn't stand and do nothing."

"Its okay Noah. Whats done is done."

"How is Scarlet?!" I asked them.

"Still unconscious.." Williams replied.

The guys came running towards me. "Did you found the link and the light?" Max asked.

"I think i have seen the light... but i am not sure." I spoke up.

Oliver and Ryan came running to us"Guys we have more stressing matter in hand! Killians' here!"
