I looked at the mirror again...

This doesn't feel right...

I pouted.

"Can I get something a bit covered?" I turned and asked Olivia.

"Come on, that's the 5th one you rejected." She said.

"I do like something covered tho." I looked at the mirror with The strapless dress hugging my body.

Currently, I am in her room, getting ready for the annual spring-fall party.

She searched through her cupboard again and finally found something.

"Well I was saving this to give you on your bday... but you need it now." She handed me a box.

It was a gorgeous white colour dress with mesh shimmer, the front was short was the back was long and dragged on the ground.

Beautiful.

This is too beautiful almost sexy.

"I can't wear it..."

"No arguments. you have too!!"

I gave a weaver smile. Okay, let's get dressed up.

I wanted to do a smile make up for this but she did her speciality on me. Bold red-ish black smokey eye with a blush cheeks and lips tint.

We got ready and went out.

The party held in the huge grand hall like a ballroom. I always am amazed by this academy. I never knew it had this ballroom here.

It was beautiful.

Someone came and asked my hand, "miss can I delight you with a punch?" I turned around to see it was Noah.

"Absolutely " I joined him.

He gave a peach strawberry punch.

He was wearing a green suit which I must say look quite dashing on him his hair was done in his natural curls.

"You look quite handsome." I smiled at him. I never have seen him like this, wearing formals. Especially that glossy green blazer.

He leaned in close and tugged my loose in the back of my ear," you look breathtaking..." the way he looked deep in my eyes like the whole earth stopped spinning and my heart skipped a beat.

He made a flower 🌹 rose from his magic and gave to me.

I blushed as hard I could.

Suddenly a hand pulled him away from me to a safe distance. I tried to keep my composer.

It was Ryan. " I thought you wouldn't make the first move, expected more from you Noah. Cunning fox."

He laughed," well when I know who all are aiming for the prize so I can't just sit back. I am giving myself a head start."

I don't understand them.

Ryan turned to me," You look gorgeous my darling Scarlet." He kissed the palm of my hand.

And gave me that gorgeous smile of his. He was wearing a pale yellow suit. With a white coat. He looks like those actors with their fancy clothes but in a good way.

My heart was already beating fast. These guys are not letting me calm down a bit.

I was getting seriously flustered here when a voice interrupted us. Thank god for that!

"Come on, Don't crowd her." It was from Max.

He looked dashing as hell. A dark navy blue jacket with black jeans. His style suited him very well.

"Hey max," I smiled at him.

"Hey." As always he gave me notice. He turned around and walked off.

I made a worried face. Is he again angry with me?

"Don't worry?" Ryan said." He is just being shy." He chuckled.

Huh? He is? I can never read him.

Max came from behind and smacked his head." Keep your mouth shut."

They were getting. I smiled.

If only I could calm down a bit. I don't why they are looking extra handsome tonight. I hope that they don't notice my blush hard.

I was about to take another punch when William took my hand.

I was surprised by his sudden gesture. He whispered to me," You will calm down abit." It's the first time he willingly gave him his hands. Moreover a skin contract. I could feel his magic working and my nerves were slowing down. It's like he read my mind. It didn't help much cause William was also looking like a silver knight with his white dress code with platinum hair blue eyes. They should all be criminal to be this good looking, I mean come on.

I was thankful to him.

"Heyy, William I didn't know you were so sneaky!" Ryan chuckled.

I let go of his hand to explain. "No guys... he was just.."

"No need to explain, they know I am not the one they should be taking lightly... race you to the forbidden fruit." They all looked at each other in agreement. And I still had no clue.

I noticed all the girls were giving me the stink eyes as for them I was hogging all the joy boys from them. Looked like enemies. I signed.

I noticed Alex nowhere to be seen.

"Hey, guys where is Alex?"

"He is on the balcony. Can you call him? He is giving the opening speech." Noah said.

"Sure!." I smiled and waved them goodbye.

I checked the balconies. And finally found him in one of them. I was about to go and call him but he was not alone. That ride Naomi  was with him. All hugging and giggling talking to him.

I was about to go when I saw Alex noticed me. He left her standing there and came to me.

"Umm, Noah is looking for you. "

"Thank I will go now." He came out of the shadows and my eyes laid on him. His divine blazing red hair was like fire in the night sky and he was wearing a red silk shirt with a black jacket his face handsome than ever.

I blushed and l looked away.

I was about to go when I saw my dress got stuck on the decoration leaves.

Shoot!

I tried to bent down and untangle my dress but it was difficult.

"Stop," Alex said.

He bends down in frustration and untangled my dress.

"I can do it, Alex..." but he didn't listen.

My heart skipped a beat and I blushed.

He resolved it.

"Thank you." I smiled blushing.

He didn't reply to me like as he always dies in a harsh way but in a more calm way like he was the first time being friends with me. "No worries" he smiled.

Wait! The girl did he actually smiled? Was he even capable of it?

My heart was happy with the evening.

I saw Naomi Came to me," I saw you miss scholarship chick, hogging all the boys and now the student president? What type of slut are you playing?"
She furiously came to me.

"I didn't do anything..." I tried to explain.

Her friends joined.

"Now you got eyes on Noami's boyfriend Alex? Greedy bitch!" One of her minions said.

"What? Alex is her boyfriend..."

"Yeah, dork you better say away from him!"

"maybe be she uses the money to lure them." One of them said.

I grew angry. "They are not cheap people like you," I said to her.

"You bitch!" She was going to hit me but someone holds her hand from hitting me.
