Noah's POV

"Why her wound is not healing?"I asked our school healer.

"The damage is very high power effect. Thus normal healing is not working. We also don't know how a black fire gets healed... We need a pure grade healer" the doctor said.

I have tried healing her and so does other healers but nothing is working. Blood is not stop flowing. Thus she is kept under constant blood supply.

"I am sorry guys i was careless." She apologised .

"Don't, you did your best to stop them." Alex said.

"Yes scarlet, you protected the archive and William to best of your ability. You did great." I told her. I don't understand why she always put herself down like that.

"More importantly we have to find out who attacked the archive." Max said.

"How is William?" I asked them.

"Still unconscious, he used a lot of his mana. That magic is above his grade still he could perform it so well i am impressed." Alex said.

"Sweetie you just rest." Valarie said.

"Yes sister don't talk. Just rest." Oliver said.

Right now we all are in the hospital.

"I am sorry i end up in the hospital as always." She joked.

"You gotta stop running towards danger scar!" Olivia scolded her.

"Sorry."

"You just take rest scar. Save your energy." Ryan said.

We left the room so she could sleep. No matter how many blood transfusions she was getting until her wound is getting closed she will not get better. The blood she is getting is leaving her body through the wound as soon as it enters.

"But how do we close her wound?" Max asked.

"I will think of something." I left the room. A pure grade healer eh? I quickly picked up my phone and dialled a number.

"Hello brother? I need your help. I wouldn't have call if it weren't an emergency."

Back at the mansion. "Did you get hold of any pure grade healer?" Ryan asked.

"No man, i am asking all the people i know. Most of the healers are out right now to the board of councils." Max replied.

" guys calm down." I said. "He will be arriving any moment now."

"Who?"

"Joan."

"Your brother is coming?" Ryan was shocked.

"Yes he is."

"So things between you two are...?" He questioned.

"There are more pressing matters in hand." I interrupted him.

"Thanks Noah, i know how hard it is for you to do so." Alex said.

"Anything for scarlet."

I left the room.

"I am I missing something?" Max asked him.

"There has been some rough history between them. Rest you gotta ask Noah. I am not at a place to say it." Ryan said.

I closed the door entering my room. I laid in my bed closing my eyes the memories came back flooding.

Flashback:

From the small age my big brother Joan was loved by my parents. The proud son. Nothing i did ever measured up to him. Still no matter what my parents said i loved him. He was the best big brother anyone could ask for. I was 10 years old and I could nearly use my power. My brother 13 years old. We were 3 years apart but inseparable. Everything i knew was taught by my brother. I always looked upto him.

My father always wanted him to be the next heir of Rode Chemical and heal but he chose to go to military. Father was so angry that he threw him out. Disowned him but i was always proud of him. To pursue his dreams but I didn't had much spine to follow him. I was forever until now my dad's puppet.

The day when he was supposed to return home to me. He choose to fight in combat. I wanted to go with him but he left me. Cutting all connections with me. Leave me to face the family alone. He forever will be my role model and i honour him but our bond is broken now, the day he left me without saying goodbye.

End of flashback.

Now i need his help. For scarlet i am willing to do anything. Even bow down. I don't want to see him but for her i will face him.

Hours passed and it was evening now. There was knocked on the door. I opened it. It was joan.

"Hello brother." I said.

"Good to see you cuppy." I remember that nick name he used to call me with. I didn't show much response to it. "Just Noah now." I invited him in.

"Hey Joan! Long time no see." Ryan came and hugged him. Alex shook his hand.

"Hey Ryan! And Alex. Good to see you guys." He greeted them.

We used to play together when we were small.

"Enough greetings. Joan, i need a favour from you." I told him.

"Still cold to me? We are meeting after so long Noah." He smiled at me.

"A little late for reminiscing." I maintain my cold posture for him. I am not going to forget and forgive so easily after all these years.

"What you need from me?" He came to the point.

"Your a pure grade healer. As far as i know you heal the higher ups and council members. But i need you to heal someone for me. She is different from others so i want you to help her."

"Okay. Show me her room."

We lead him to the hospital room scarlet was in. She was running a fever.

Joan observed her for a while and then held her hand. "She is a black class: fire power. Very rare." He said.

"Wow you can say it just by touch?" Ryan asked him.

"Her energy is blazing. Radiating." He concentrated and started healing with golden green aura.

Pure grade healers are those who possess the blessing from the old ancestors who were spiritual beings. In this case its very rare for those healers to be born. When my brother was born he was blessed and so am i but my powers has not reached supreme to activate my golden aura heal. I feel so useless nit being able to heal scarlet. The council elder can only amplified our power with supervision which results to full supremacy and activation of our deeper powers.

He was done healing. "I have done all i can now its upto her how well she can take the healing. Its my first time healing a black fire."

He wounds did close but still alot was left to recover. She was breathing steadily now. Her fever disappeared.

"Thank you brother." I was grateful for him treating scarlet.

"But he wounds were not not normal. It had aura of red class. Someone strong possessing red class power struck her. A supreme class for sure." He added.

"Who that can be?" Max asked Alex.

"I think I have an assumption." Alex added.

"Who?" Ryan spoke.

"Except my dad only another person in the academy can use red class powers."

"That teacher of Scarlet, killian." Alex said.

"I always thought him to be a shady character from the start." I grew angry.

"How can you say its him?"

"I was checking the records and investigating the barrier. There is no way anyone can break it. The barrier is strong depending upon my father health but i got to yesterday only. He is in recovery. Someone poisoned his drink. Thus wearing his health. The barrier went weak and its to break in."

"How can you say its killian? Anyone could have broken the barrier." Max said.

"I couldn't had known it is killian for sure until Joan just said, Scarlet wound had had red class aura. And except Alex and his dad, killian is the only one who has half red aura."

"Now that you say this. I saw killian roaming and stalking at the archive room a few times." Max added.

"The only way to be sure is to know who he is. We need to talk to Oliver, he grew up with the guy." Alex said.

"Lets go then. And guys lets not tell Scarlet about this until we are sure. She will be heartbroken to know her instructor is the intruder." I said.

"Agreed."

I brushed Scarlet hair. I will not let any one harm you.
