Noah's POV

I washed the dishes and took a fresh set of bandages to change the dressing of Scarlet wounds.

I hope for her to wake up so badly.

I still tried to put on my brave face with a smile and went to her room. "Morning Scarlet looks like a lovely da...." I stopped and noticed her bed was empty.

"scarlet!" I called for her. There was no answer.
Where can be she? Her wounds haven't healed yet!

I ran towards the dining table and Max and William were sitting there." have you seen scarlet?!"

"No... why?" William spoke.

"Did she woke up?!" Max asked in worry.

"I guess she did... she is not in her room."

I hurried picked up the phone and called Alex.

"Hey, Noah, what's up?"

"I know you're in the middle of a meeting of student council but, scarlet missing..." he didn't let me finish.

"What?! I am coming right away!" He ended the call immediately

Where are you Scarlet?

I didn't care about anything else, my heart was beating crazily for her. I never felt so worried in my life. All I could think about her safety.

My heart hurt... I touched my chest.

Alex's POV

I got up in the middle of the meeting and took my jacket. "I am sorry I have to postpone this meeting, something important had come up, I have to attend."

Before they could say anything I rushed out of the door.
I ran out worried. Her wounds haven't healed properly yet.

I called Ryan. He picked up the phone.

Before he could speak I started speaking.

"Scarlet is missing! No time to explain how. We need to find her now."

"Yes definitely, how can I help?"

"Scarlet has been in contact with your spirit animal, can you summon it ? It can find her easily as her energy is linked with your spirit animal"

"I am on it"

I ended the call and ran towards the mansion.

"How long is she missing?" I asked Noah.

"I don't know... i left her alone for just a few minute...when I came back she was gone." He said in a panic.

"Calm down, we will find her. I have informed Ryan to look for her."

"Did you guys saw here she went or did anyone came in?" I asked max and William.

"We were in the dining room if any pass from here we would have noticed." Max said.

"We should search the campus once."

"I already did that..." Max said.

My phone rang. "Hey I have found scarlet, meet me outside the campus gate... hur...hurry..." the call got disconnected.

My heart gave a sign is relieved. "Ryan found her!" I told everyone.

We ran towards the gate.

That girl can never let me stay in peace. My heart raced in worry.

Ryan's POV

I centralised my powers and summoned my spirits animal. She appeared.

"Amile, i want you to find Scarlet. You're the only one she came in contact with, Located her energy."

I told her. She started to glow and sniff around. Then suddenly she started running to the direction of the campus gate.

That means scarlet went out. I hurried rang Alex and informed him. My phone ran out of batter and got disconnected.

Shit!!

I saw Amile running way to her location. I did want to wasted time and ran after her.

Hold on princess I am coming...

I reached in front of the empty park seemed like an abandoned long time ago. It was surrounded by a lake. Amile stopped here.

She must be here somewhere.

I searched for her and finally found her sitting in the swings.

The others catched up to me.

"How did you find me?"

"Hamlet found the sent of your spirit animal." Alex said. I saw his spirit animal, eagle 🦅 sittting down.

"So where is she?" Noah asked.

I pointed out at the swings.

Max POV

"Scarlet!" I called out to her.

She flinched and turned around.

"What are you all doing here...".. she spoke.

"We are to take you home scarlet.," I said approaching slowing.

She got up and moved back.

"Stay away... I don't wanna hurt." She said scared.

"You can never hurt us.." Noah said.

We approached slowly again.

"No! You don't understand... I can't control it!... I don't wanna hurt you all..."
She moved back as her hands ignite with blue flame. And the ground started burning, melting the swings.

I could feel it. She is scared. She is just worried about us.

I didn't care of the flames. I ran towards her.

"Max!" Everyone scream.

I held her hands.

"I am not leaving you. You can never hurt me." I used my water power to put out the flame. And rest of the fire in the park. I used the river nearby.

She looked with tears in her eyes. She turned to see all of them.

"But I hurt you... see your wounds.. " she said.

I covered my arms, where she struck.

"I am okay...Scarlet. I am here"
She felt guilt ... I know the feeling. I know she will not understand me. I simply say beside her.

William's POV

I approached her.

"I know it all may feel like all is lost now. You may also feel this power is a curse... but, you didn't give up on me. When I was at my lowest point. You stood by me and been my friend. " I held her hand.

I continued," I will not leave with you scarlet. No matter how much you hurt us or even scream. We are here for you. I am here. Not leaving. We will get through this together..." I smiled at her.

She calmed down and started crying badly. Her flames vanished.

I hugged her. "It's okay, your safe, it was not your fault..."

She cried clinging to me. I patted her head slowly.

Suddenly I felt everyone hugged us.

"We are here Scarlet "Max said.

"We will go through this together..." Noah said.

"You not alone." Alex said.

Scarlet POV

Everyone hugged and cared for me. I cried letting my heart out.

I left a weight lift from my chest.
I gave a faint smile snuggles in their hugs.

Suddenly a white flame again ignited, like an aura.

I got scared and got up.

The flame travel to everyone I touched. It didn't harm them I saw. The place where I had struck them, again the flame went and settled there, slowly vanishing out.

Their cuts and bruises vanished and healed.

Everyone checked their wounds.

"How..?" William asked in shock.

"I... don't know..." I looked at my hands and the flame dim and vanished.

"I knew you were special." Ryan joked." And smiled.

I looked at William. He smiled at me and gave me his hand. I took it.

"Let return home now..." Alex smiled at me.

I nodded.

I got up and my feet's hurt.

"Your an idiot to run barefoot, " Alex said in anger.

"Sorry.."

I tried to walk but He lifts me up in his arms.

I blushed. "Alex, I can walk.."

"No chance, until you get fully healed you will not leave my sight," Alex said.

I smiled.

"Lets go home. I am starving!" Max said dismissing the tension.

"Yeah" I smiled and agreed.

Later that night~

"I want you five to keep a watch over her. Her powers have just surfaced and she has no control over it. Moreover, now that her powers have come back many people will aim at her. Many will try to kill her. The power has never been accepted in your community. She has a lot of power in her, she is evil as society deemed them to be." the principal said to us.

"We will watch over her. Don't worry dad." Alex said.

"We will take care of her sir." Noah said.

Everyone agreed.

"Thank you all." He ended the meeting.
