Scarlet POV

I came back home and saw Noah still awake.

"Hey how was your date?"

"It went quite well." I smiled.

"I am happy for you two." He didn't say much. He gave me a small sad smile and went to his room.

I was confused. What does he mean by that?

The next morning i was determined. My determination was to face my feelings. Lots of things happened. And now its time for me to stop being a coward and face my feelings. Today i will confession to Noah! Face to face! No backing out. Even if he rejects me. So be it.

First i need my girls here! I picked up my phone and sent out a group text to the girls. Olivia and Valarie. I need your help! Meet me asap in my room!

V- what happened?

(Tying...)

O- thats the emergency?

S- i need your advice in love!!

(Tying...)

O- coming right over!
V- bringing the chocolate 🍫 !!

Within 10 mins the girl came over.

"Now someone please tell me what happened?"Valarie barged in. "I bought the chocolate to mend the heart!"

"I bought ice cream!" Olivia came in.

"Umm, ice cream?"

"Yeah if it turn to a heartbreak then ice cream can drown all the sorrows!"

We laughed.

"Okay settle down. I called you guys over cause i am think of confessing to Noah.. today!"

"Yay! Finally " Valarie squeaked overjoyed.

"It was time!!!" Oliver accompanied her.

"So tell me how do i do it?"

"You can invite him to somewhere romantic like dinner date?" Olivia said.

"Yeah, or you can cook him his favourite dinner!"

"Thats a good idea."

And a romantic dance maybe?" Olivia added.

"But I don't know if Noah like me or not! What happens if i do all that and he rejects me?!"

"Scar, you take a leap of faith." Valarie said

"Yes sweetie. You can never know what the heart wants." Olivia agreed.

"Even if you get rejected we love you remember!" Olivia said.

"Yup we do."

"Aww guys." I hugged them. "Your the best girlfriend anyone could ever ask for."

After i talked to the girls i went out to make preparations for the proposal. I went to the old granny shop and explained her my situation. She was happy to help me. She gave the shop to decorate and cook Noah's favourite food, garden salad 🥗 and 🍝🥧 spaghetti and apple pie.

I had already wrote a note invite him out and slide it under his door when he was not looking.

I got dressed for the occasion. And got busy decorating the place.

I dressed sharp.

It was 7 o clock at the clock now. And i saw Noah getting out from his car. And making his way towards the to the store.

"Welcome. Take a seat." I opened the door for him.

"Whats all this scar?" He looked at me confused.

"All will be explained soon first, take a seat." I pulled his chair for him. I took out the food and served him.

"It looks delicious scar." He said happily.

"Have a bite."

He eat the food. "Its so tasty scar."

"I am glad you liked it."

"But why did you do all this scar?"

"For you"

"For me?"

"Noah, things have been up and down between us. Plus i know i have no made it easy for anyone to handle me. But i gotta say this now. I don't wanna wait another second. Even if it crash and burn. Even if you don't feel the same. I cant lie to myself or hide it anymore. Its time i be true to myself."

"Scar?"

"Noah i love you. And have been in love with you for a while now... i tried to deny it. Run away from it. Hide it but i cant anymore. " i was so nervous that i will faint this instant.

I never imagined confession take this much courage.

"So Noah Rode, will you grant me the pleasure of being my boyfriend?" I got down on one knee and gave him a rose.

He was confused and looking at my face.

The silence between us could be cut by a knife.

"Um Noah,... its would be great if you say something..." i gave a nervous laugh.

"Um... wait what?"

"You want me to repeat?" I asked him confused.

What going on in his head?

"I am sorry scar—"

"Your going to reject me!" I panicked.

"Wait what! No!!"

"Then?"

"Aren't you Ryan's girlfriend?!"

"What?"

"Yeah yesterday he told me before going that he plan to propose to you again and ..."

"So did that gave you the idea i am his girlfriend?"

"Well you said your date went well!"

"Well we did had a nice evening. But i am not his girlfriend, I rejected him"

"You did?"

"Yes."

"For me?"

"Yes."

"But why? I thought you didn't liked me anymore... i hurt you!"

"Noah no matter what, my heart wants you. So, Let me ask you again... will you be mine?."

"Scar..." he got up from his seat and pulled me to his embrace. He sealed his lips on to mine. His kiss at first was soft then went hard and passion like its longing for my lips for a long time. He met my eyes. My heart had never been this high up and down like a roller coaster. My cheeks and ears flushed red. My lips begging for more.

At last he spoke calming my heart down. "Scarlet i fell for you the moment you stepped in my life and hit me with that broom." I chuckled. He continued,"i fell for you day by day everyday more and more. I love all sides to you. And everything. I love you scar! I love so bad that it hurts. I know i have caused you alot of pain. And i hurt you in the process but if your willing to take on me i will work everyday to make it up to you."

I laughed,"silly I already love you and want you."

He hugged me. "Remember Scar, if you take me you stuck with me for eternity. You won't be alone get rid of me sooner."

"I don't want to get rid of you, even if you me or make me cry. I want you."

"I love you scarlet, so very much."

"I love you to Noah."

We gave each other another passionate kiss. I couldn't be more happier. My love came true.

We came back to the mansion after our dinner. My phone buzzed.

V- i have the chocolate ready for the good news! Dying to know!!!!!

O- i have the ice cream ready to cry over and rom- com movies! What the update????!!!!

I typed.

S- we are officially a COUPLE!!!!!

V- Aaaaaaaaaahhh!!" Omg!!

O- i am scream to the screen!!

V- i am so happy for you scar!! 🥳

O- i am proud of you girl!!

I smiled to the screen.

I laid back on the bed. Alex came in to hand over the study council files.

"Hey Alex, I confessed to Noah, and we are finally a couple!"

"Congratulations! Scar" he hugged me.

"Your one of my best friends so i wanted to tell you first of the guys. You help me alot along the way."

"Its all good scar, i am glad and happy for you. But if we are sharing then i have something to confesses too."

"Confess?"

"Yeah i kinda like you at the beginning too"

I got flustered, "what.. I didn't knew!"

"Chill calm down. Its not like that, i did liked you but it was not in that way. Our friendship was much more valuable to me than love." He smiled.

"Thank you Alex, for telling me."

"No problem. You have goodnight sleep." He went out.

I always at ease when i am with Alex . He is like elder brother. Always protective and supportive friends.

I sat down in my bed. It was pretty good day if i count it. In the Midwest of war. Some light. I smiled.
