OLIVER POV

I back to my dorm room. I was so happy to see her. My little sister. Far more i was glad she was safe and happy. She got nice friends. But i will protect her this time. No matter what.

My phone rang.

"How was your first day?"

"It was good. I was overjoyed to be reunited with scarlet again. "

"I am glad to hear it."

"By the way when are you planing to come here?"

"Soon... i have certain things to take care off. till then take care of your sister. Remember our mission."

"Yes i know."

I unpacked my luggage and put our old family photo in my night stand. I was almost done arranging my room when there was knock on my door.

I opened it and it was scarlet.

"Hey sis."

"I bought some treats " she showed me the bag of muffins.

"Come in." I welcomed her in.

We sat on my bed. She sat across me. "So ready for first day of class?" She asked me.

"I am "

"I cant wait to show you around!" She said excited.

We got up and went out the door. I made my way towards the door with scarlet while her friends joined me.

A cheerful girl joined us. "Scar! "She hugged her.

"Livia!! "She hugged her. A fall muscular boy accompanied her. She looked at me.

"I heard, your brother came to this school! It must be an amazing reunion " she smiled.

"Yes! It is." She introduced us.

"And you have already met max, he is Olivia's boyfriend." Scarlet said.

I greeted them with a cheerful smile.

"So tell the gossip! How are things with Noah? Still no progress?" she whispered to my sister.

She stole a glance from me and whispered back to her. "Its a dead end of heartbreak for now.." she signed.

"Dont be depressed girl, there are lot of other hot guys here. You will get a better one..."

"I don't know liv"

So this Noah guy is the one my sister likes, but he seems to be in a complicated state. I do have a upper hand in reading people emotions cause of my powers. They are like open book.

"Scar do what your heart feels like... dont force it. Let love come to you." Max said to her.

"I guess..."

She seemed sad. I want to do something for her take the sadness away. Anyway?
All though i feel like that guy Noah is jealous when ever Ryan is beside her. Then again Ryan seems like to have a playboy reputation. I need to know how they feel for my sister. I will not allow anyone to play with her emotions.

No sooner than i thought this, i saw Ryan make his way with Alex and William.

Ryan face lit up when he saw scarlet. He quickly made his way ahead of those two and put his arms around her to greet.

A playboy! I don't like him.

Scarlet seems like genuinely happy to see him.  she doesn't care if he is a playboy. Moreover she is oblivious to Ryan feelings towards her. Still he makes her blush and uneasy at heart.

"So how is my princess." He said to her .

"I have been better ..." she signed.

"I can make that frown upside down." By saying that he kissed her cheeks.

"Ryan?! You cant just kiss me whenever you like." Scarlet protested laughing.

I need to fund out all about that guy. I don't want him to play with her. I suppressed my anger and continued my observation.

Alex smacked his head. "Please reframe from hitting on my student council assistant."

William also stood beside him and scar. It seems like they both are found of my sister. Is it love or any other? i have to find out.

We made our way towards the campus.

Ryan didn't miss any opportunity to be beside scarlet.

We were laughing and talking while we walked. We were half way there when i see Noah and a girl walk upto us. She had her hand wrapped around him possessively. I noticed scarlet smile disappeared slowly.

So this is the twist with Noah i got it.

"Hey scar" noah greeted her.

"Hi." She gave him a weak smile.

"Hey Valarie, we are planning a welcome picnic for oliver this afternoon wanna join us?" Alex said to her.

"That is lovely! A picnic." She said in her English accent. She was kinda cute, like a blonde porcelain doll.

"Sure you can join in." Scarlet forced a smile.

I noticed Noah gaze fixed on scarlet.

Ryan jumped in between William and scar and hugged her from behind. "It would be lovely to have scar under a cherry blossom tree, feeding me her hand made treat..." he said sticking his face close to her. She rolled her eyes laughing. "You wish!"

"Come on, please? " he made a puppy face.

"Okay will see." She joked.

But he was overjoyed already. I kept my glance on Noah who was furious and beaming with jealousy aura.

Interesting.

Alex and William had Pink aura towards scar, which indicates foundness not quite love...
On the other hand Max has blue aura towards her determining a friendship. And both Ryan and Noah had red aura. Full of love for her. Violet is jealousy which was emitting though Valarie . She doesn't like scar i can see clearly.

We went to the classroom.

Ryan, alex and noah were another class, max william and Olivia accompanied by Valarie and my sister were in the same class.

Everything went peacefully. It was afternoon now. Time for the picnic.

Time for me to get to work.

We went to the meet up place but before that i called Ryan separately .

"You wanted to meet up oliver?" Ryan said.

I did not waste time. "Yes." I touched his shoulders," tell me your intentions for my sister." My golden power revealed and he was in a trance.

"I like her genuinely . But she seems to be in love with Noah. " he replied.

Interesting.

"Forget this conversation and you never met me here." He nodded as i let go of my hand from his shoulders. He left, making his way back to the garden.

One down, another is up.

We joined the picnic.

"Scarlet. I love your hand made treats." Valarie said.

"Thanks I guess..." she smiled.

"Noah always compliments them so much i had to try it." She continued.

Max and Olivia were being couple and feeding eachother.

"They two are so cute!" Valarie said.

"Yes so true." Scarlet smiled.

"Like me and Noah." She said kissing noah.

I could see how much she tried to hide her pain with a smile. She took a strawberry 🍓 dipped in the wiped cream which she was going to eat but Ryan leaped in and took a bite of it.

"Come on, Ryan i wan going to have that." She cried.

"Well you were backing out, in our agreement to freed me by your hands. So i took the opportunity." He winked at her.

"Your a kid you know." She laughed.

"Thats is correct he is a Kid." Alex agreed.

"You cant steal scar from me." William said as he offered her tea.

"Scar whom do you like most ? William or me?"

She thought for a while and teased him,"William ! Because he does come to my rescue whenever i am stressed..." she bit her lips.

"I won!" William celebrated.

"No fair!" Ryan whined.

Scarlet laughed.

She took another strawberry from the basket.
"No worries i can win you over easy." Ryan said leaning towards her and stealing yet another bit of her strawberry. This time he was very much near her face almost like a kiss. Which made me jump from seat with an unknown urge to pull he away from her. Yet he didn't not kiss her just took the strawberry and smirked. Scarlet was beaming with blush right this moment.

"Wow, the boys are all over you like bees ." Valarie said.

Noah got up from his seat. "I need to get some fresh air." He went out.

I knew he was irritated by Ryan's action.He was beaming with jealousy aura.

"I need some water too." I excused myself. I followed him. He frustrated paced back and forth.

" hey you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah... i am" he gave me a fake smile.

"You can tell me how you feel..." i said touching his shoulders. I let my power consume him.

"I am jealous and angry ."

"Why don't you tell scarlet how you feel?"

"I cannot because of the responsibility i face."

"To suffer alone and make her suffer too?"

"I don't wish to make her sad. Wish there is other way. I care for her deeply. I love her." He said.

"Whats the deal with Valarie then?"

"A contractual arrangement made by families. No feelings there."

"Forget this conversation." I removed my hand.

He blinked twice and came out of the trance. "Hey oliver, you need anything?"

"Yes water." I smiled.

We came back and joined the party. Rest of the evening went great except the awkward exchange Scarlet and Noah did.

We packed everything and went back. Scarlet was walking me to my room. I couldn't help but notice she was in deep thoughts.

"A penny for your thoughts?" I asked her.

"It's complicated..."she smiled weak.

"Cant get Noah out of your head and Ryan is confusing your feelings I guess?" I said to her.

She looked at me shocked. "What...How?"

"Scar your my little sister, i will look out for you and know things before you do." She signed.

She signed,"Yeah your right.... i can't figure them out... thus my feelings confused right now."

"I can help you if you like..." i said to her with a cheeky grin.

"How?"

"I know how they are feeling."

"I don't understand Oliver."

"They told me their feelings for you. If you wanna know i can tell you."

She looked at me confused," why will they tell you how they are feeling without telling me first? When i am dying to know."

"I used my way of pursuance..." i said waving my fingers in the air emitting golden aura.

She eyes widen," you used your power on them?!"

"Kinda..."

"Oliver!? The first rule of this academy that no student use their power against another for any kind of advancement or achievement or harm! "

She looked at me angry.

"Scar i just wanted to help you resolve your feelings."

She explained," Oliver thats wrong. Knowing people desire or wishes against their will is bad. No matter how much i want to know. "

She was right though. "Sorry scar. I thought I could help you in someway."

She hugged me," I appreciate you worried for me Oliver. But please promise me. You will never use your power on anyone like that.."

I hugged her back. "I promise."

Even though i am older than her. She has also grown up to a beautiful person. My little sister. Mom you were right, she is very gentle being... there is no way she can harm anybody. Killian might be wrong??

"I love you scar." I said to her.

"I love you too Olly.".
