Scarlet POV

There was smoke and dusty everywhere. The rubble and concrete dusty fell everywhere. I took all the strength in my body to get up. It hurt , but i had more pressing matters to see. My eyes searched for William where is he?

10 minutes ago.

I came down to collect the files. I opened the iron door and the magic lock. I was about to go in when i saw William coming this way.

"Hey what are  you doing here?"

"I was about go and meet you guys when i saw you going downstairs so i followed you,"

"I just have to collect some documents. Then i am free. You can join me if you like but keep it a secret cause the student council is not allowed to have nonmembers here." I winked at him.

"I will " he smiled and we went in.

I quickly collected the documents.

"Williams lets go." I called out to him. There was no reply. "William?" I went to find him.

I saw him looking at the wall at the end of the hall.

"What are you looking at?" I touched the wall.

"I don't know, i felt something is there." Suddenly the wall vanished and a room came before us.

"It was not there before." I said.

"I am guessing this is where the council dairies are kept. Top secret "

"Why it opened for us?"

"I don't know..." we went in.

Suddenly the lights went out. Red lights start to flash.

**CODE RED. LOCKDOWN INITIATE** the siren 🚨 went on.

"What's happening?" I asked him.

"I don't know..."

I saw a diaries glowing gold color. "Do you see that too?" I poked him.

"See what?"

"Your telling me you don't see that glowing golden diary? The one two tone pages." I could see it clearly.

"I don't see anything like that scar."

My hands moved automatically to hold it. "Be careful scar. Council diaries are protected by powerful charm."

I touched the chain it was wrapped around it. It didn't hurt me. William was also shocked to see it. "It didn't effect you?"

Then suddenly his phone rang.

It was Noah calling.

He put it on speaker "Guys! Are you safe?" His voice came thoughts with alots of static interference.

"We are ok—William, where — you?" Noah spoke. His voice was not clear. Must be the static of the room.

"I am in Basement with Scarlet —"

"Did —say with Scarlet?" I asked.

"Yes— I followed her in— now i am with her." He spoke.

"The connection— poor— guys okay?"

"Yes we are." The wall started shaking "— wait? What the—" the whole room was shaking and the books fell down.

"Williams are you okay? How is Scarlet?" Noah asked but before I could answer the wall above us crumbled.

"William— fall back!!" I scream and pushing him out if the way. I couldn't hear anything anymore, everything went black after a *BOOM*

Now present time.

I saw the william lying down. My arm hurt. I held my head. The side was bleeding and so were my ears. Must have been because of the bomb that went off. I didn't care I hurried made my way towards William. I shoved off the excess rubble. He cough and got up.

"Oh William i was so scared. I am glad your okay."

"What was that 💥?"

"I have no idea whats going in but to attack this room means someone wants something from the council room."

"What could be?"

Just after we said so a bunch of people wearing black mask to cover the faces came in through the hole in the wall.

"Scarlet i dont know what they want but these dairies are protected. We cant let any of them take them."

I nodded agreeing.

I used my red fire to hold them off. They were aiming for the golden diary. William was putting them to sleep. Thanks to my training i had more control with my fire. But they were not stopping more were falling in.

"There so many." I said out of breath.

"Scar, i have an idea. I am going to do something that will take down each one of them. But i need your help."

"Anything William !"

"I need to hold you hand. Your amplified right now. I borrow you energy to perform the Selvelya spell."

"But William that a 4th stage spell. Your not equipped. It will take a load on you!" I didn't how it was going to effect him. I was worried for him.

"We got no choice Scar. I have to try."

"Okay." I nodded.

I held his hand. I could feel him taking my energy away but i kept my strength.

"Levato Poleva colo se da utta vell selvelya!" He spike the ancient Kiolian language. The kiolian were the first spiritual supreme being of our generation, thousands of thousands years ago.

He performed the spell putting the whole bunch of intruders to sleep. "Great job William." I looked at him. He fell down as his ears and nose bleed. The magic took a toll on him.

I held on to him and made him sit at a safer distance. He was unconscious.

The archives were destroyed.

I took the golden book and faced the enemy which was in front of me.

He was wearing the same mask as others. He glowed red aura and a cape.

"Give me the book and you will not be harmed." He spoke. His voice was scrambled. His real voice was hidden.

"No."

"You will not succeed. Be a good girl and hand over the golden book."

"You can see it?"

"I am not ordinary like others."

"Tell me why i can see it and not others?" I asked him.

"Cause you like me."

Before I could ask anything the light came back. "Time to go." He said. "Hand over NOW!"

"No." I stood my ground and summon my black fire.

He summon his mana and made red spikes of glass. He aimed it at William. "Give it to me or the boy dies."

No... William! My fire diminished. I stepped forward and handed him the diary.

"Good girl." the front door broke and Alex and other came rushing in. He got distracted and i hold the diary and tore the pages. I summon my fire and threw a blast at him. He push me away and one of his spike went trough my shoulders.

He ran away.

I fell down. The boys came to my rescue but i was too tired and hurting to keep my eyes awake. I fade way to the darkness.

"Scar!" Noah's voice echoed.

All I could wish that moment was how i never able to tell Noah how much i loved him.
