Killian POV

They stood in front of the academy gate, in our defensive positions. the atmosphere was silent. the wind was roaring. the dark clouds gathered above our heads. everything screaming for an unknown furious battle to take place.

Max held Olivia hand beside him and gave her a small smile. I could see she was tensed but didn't let it show on her face.

"don't worry, we will win" he held her hand more strongly"I will be beside you all time."

Scarlet turned to Noah"I love you, Noah, if we don't make it I just wanted to say this..."

"stop, we will make it and I love you too." He answered her.

A strong wind blew and I made my way towards the academy. I had my army behind me, more like 300 people. but were a mere number of 80-90 people. I clenched my fist and held my breath.

I came close. "I will make this easy for you all. stop and surrender now. you will be rewarded and no harm will become to you."

"do you think it will be that easy to sway us? we are not hollow like you" Ryan spoke.

I looked at scarlet now, "you know better Scarlet, why fight me then? join me and you can live like a queen by my side. this war has only one outcome that is your doom and my victory."

"Killian, both me and Oliver has lived with you and despite all the things you have done, I believe there is a part of you that knows it's wrong and wants to do right. you just blinded by hate and anger. please don't do things, stop this fight." scarlet tried to reason with me.

even though, there is no hope in reasoning with me.

"you naive, my love. there is only one thing I want is to make everyone pay for their crimes. nothing shall go unpunished."

"you will be punished to Killian, your crimes are far greater," Alex said.

"Time will tell, enough with the chit chat. be ready to face defeat."

"same to you." Max provoked me.

I summoned his powers of red flame and shield. and with one snap of my finger, my followers can rush in. they stood their ground. Alex put forward his shield protecting us and Ryan a whirlpool of wind that stopped them on their tracks. he could barely make their way forward. and the ones that came forward using their powers were stopped by Max and Olivia. he manipulated the water to form a barrier between them and scarlet. Olivia showed the thunder snow storm freezing the most in an icy cold storm.

the people they gather also fought with them. most of the heat was taken out by them. they focused on me. Oliver used "we need to tear them apart," Nola said.

"all in good times dear."

"but they are defeating our army!?"

"patience" I looked at her and gave her a sharp look for staying quiet. she lowered her eyes.

Noah used his green powers and summoned the plants and trees to hold my people to a bind. William summoned his ancient spell to put to sleep most of them.

they are powerful but not enough. they were disarming my followers not killing them. are they crazy? Do they think they can win like this? I laughed. I stood my ground. I made no urgency to jump in the fight. I will let my pawn jump in and take the heat. and when they have used up all their moves and tactics I will jump in.

they were bruised and bleeding. tired but still fighting. Valarie and Olivia with Oliver were aiming in my direction but with one final blow of my power fell. then Ryan & Max made a jump on me but Nola took him down. she blew her paralyzing agent smoke.

seeing this William and Noah begun to charge my way but were taken out by Keith, my with his hypnotist's eyes to screw with their head and they fell in depths of disrepair. Scarlet was not alone, with Alex.

"stay behind me scar," Alex said.

"Alex be careful"

"Now it's your turn" I smirked and said to Alex.

my eyes and concentration were on scarlet who were using her firepower to take out my people. they are all foolish! thinking they will win. I have not used my trump card yet. I smirked.

they were running out of energy and mana now. It's time to use my secret weapon. I need to subdue those five then scarlet will surrender. I have to make it bleed in her heart. now I took a step forward into the fight. I called my followers backwards. they all obeyed me.

"I give you one more chance, surrender, and will be relieved from this bloodshed." i spoke.

"not a chance," Alex said.

" we will not let you command our future," Noah shouted at me.

"scarlet be smart, otherwise what will happen now will be blood on your hands. call of your army"

"no Killian, your reign of terror is over."

"fine, just remember what is going to happen is your fault."

I read the last dark spell of the golden book which I found. "calling the wind, the storm of the night. hellbound it's your dame. take away all their might!"

the spell began to form a smoke that covered the whole area.

"it's a dark mana taker spell! do not breathe in guys!" scarlet screamed.

the spell has taken effect on them. they were already low on mana after fighting. The spell was taking effect on them.

One after another they all fell.

Scarlet rushed to Noah and put his head on her lap. "No please. Open your eyes. "

"Master its time!" Nola said.

"Yes ..."

I summoned my red aura with black power and the spikes came out of my hand.

"Give up scarlet! Or everyone will die!" I shouted with a sinister laugh.

"Never! You will not win!"

She got up and made her way towards me. She summoned her dark black flame and threw me. I summoned my shield and protected myself. She was powerful but because I had part black power it didn't effect me much! I threw my sparks at her. She douched it.

Our fight was raining on fire. "You cannot defeat me Scarlet you and I are the same! I am more powerful than you, stop this and be my queen!"

"Never!" She shouted.

She was getting on my nerves now. I threw more spikes. Nola was secret weapon. I nodded at her and she escaped from my side and took Noah hostage. Nice, aiming at her heart. Where she bleeds.' She held Noah throat and bare her fangs.

"Give up now or he dies!" I said to her.

Scarlet noticed Noah in Nola grasps. I aimed the spike at him.

"No please! Dont—"

"Now you have come your senses. Give up now or watch him die!"

She bumped her flame to extinguish. "Good girl, now come to me." She obeyed.

I held her arm. "I cant have anyone take your heart when you belong to me! Kill him." I laughed.

"No!" Scarlet protested and straggled to free herself.

Nola was about to suck the life out of him when Ryan struck her from behind and she was unconscious.

"I knew it, there is no use of useless servants." I aimed at Noah & Ryan myself," have to take care of everything myself."

Scarlet screamed and screamed.

I threw my spikes at them.

It was going to hit them when Oliver jumped in front and leaped in between them and my spikes.

"No!" I said in anger and pain.

"Oliver!!" Scarlet screamed and rushed in escaping from my grasp. I was myself taken back. I live with Oliver and practically raised him. That fool! Why did he had to jump in! I didn't wanted to hit him!

Scarlet ran towards him and cried hugged his bloody body. "No Oliver! Why? Why did you do that!!"

"I can't see you unhappy sister, if Noah died you would be in pain..." he coughed blood. "Take care of yourself even if I am not here." He closed his eyes.

"Noooo!! Oliver!" She cried hugged him.

"It was all your fault, I told you surrounded and he might had lived." I told her.

She cried more. Her flames grew in huge amount. From yellow, to red, to pink to black! Her flames went out of control. "Bring my brother back!!" She cried more .

I couldn't keep my feet stable nor could anyone.

I held the ground beneath my feet for a steady place. But I failed. She burst out a rage of mana and we all fell down, as Scarlet elevated to the above.
