Scarlet POV

We have settled to our normal day to day activities. William, Max, Valarie and Oliver had completed their 3 stage of training. So did Oliver. Alex, Ryan and Noah had already done with their 3 stages now only the last stage remains.

I was studying in my room when William came in. "Hey scar,"

""William! You came at the tight time! Please help me study for finals. As because I ascend after than anybody else the teachers want me to complete the whole chapter by tonight! Which is not fair!" I cried.

"Which chapter your doing?"

"The chapter of ascend the spirit animal. To achieve supreme."

"That is not difficult see here." He took my worksheet and explained me the spell pentagon. "You fo this— and say this spell. And do this symbols ... and its done!"

"Wow, you just ascend yesterday and you cant do this spell? So advance?"

"I studied before hand." He laughed.

"No matter your top student."

"Lets do the next one." We resumed our studying session. After two hours i closed the books. "Finally done."

"Remember to review it at night." He said.

"Okay teacher." I laughed.

He went towards the door and stopped. "Whats the matter? " i asked him.

"Um scarlet we need to discuss something." He came back and sat beside me," when you lost your emotions, i had to trick you to bring with us..." he hesitated.

"You can speak freely William i wont mind."

"Umm, I don't know your remember it or not, but at the Halloween party i kissed you so that i can take away your life force and put you to sleep." As soon as he mentioned it I remember the memories clear as day.

I blushed hard,"its okay! I don't.. i mean I didn't mind it. You did what you had to do to help me and stop Killian."

"Yeah sorry for that. But to tell you the truth i did left bad kissing you— you were my first kiss... so..."

"Its okay William. I forgive you" to think that I didn't dislike his. He is actually a decent kisser. Wait what i am think about? My eyes landed on William lips and I remember thr kiss. Damn now every time i see him I remember the kiss.

"Okay then i will see you at class tomorrow." He waved me goodbye and left.

I laid back in my bed. "Why? Cant i calm down when i am with the guys! And why they have to this good looking?!" I covered my face with a pillow.

Morning came as early as i slept. I was having breakfast 🍳 when Ryan came whistling.

Noah was making eggs and Alex was looking at the newspapers beside me.
"Someone is in a good mood?" I asked him.

"Yes i am. See what i have got!" He handed me two tickets. I looked at the ticket carefully. It was two VIP passes to the new amusement park in the city.

" OMG !! Ryan! How did you get this passes?"

"You like it?"

"Come on! Its the Carnival 🎡 amusement part! The one with most scary roller coaster 🎢 awards the Scream Master"

"So you know who i am going to take then?" He teased me.

"Oh shut up!! Me?!"

"Or who else?" He chuckled.

"Oh thank you!! I need a day out." I hugged him.

"I am at your service my princess."

"I am going to get ready!" I put rest of my breakfast in my mouth and swallowed it. I run upstairs to change.

I looked into my wardrobe and saw a pink top and yellow skirt. It look kinda cute. Decided i will wear this one.

I got ready and went downstairs.

"You just want time with her!"

"What's wrong with that?! I like her." Ryan spoke.

Are they arguing on something?

"So what? I like her it too."

"She has right to choose too Noah!" Ryan grunt.

I peeked in,"guys what happened?"

They stopped talking " nothing darling, your ready?"

"Yeah how do i look?" I came out.

"Beautiful and adorable."Ryan commented. "Ready to go?"

"Okay" i waved Noah goodbye.

Its just me or he seemed agitated.

We reached the amusement park. "What do you wanna ride first?"

"Woo, how about those spinning cups! And the roller coaster!! Plus, lets go to the haunted house too." I said excited.

"General normal girl are scared of haunted house and big roller coaster but not you."

I laughed,"well i am not normal am i? I am extraordinarily."

"That you are!"

I took his hand and made our way towards the roller coaster. We screamed and had fun. One by one we got into all the rides.

Now we stopped to have some food. Ryan bought some churros and ice cream for us.

I licked my rocky road ice cream.

"I had fun with you today." He said.

"For a moment their I forgot all the terrible this happened." I said with a reminiscence face.

He held my hand " Scar, don't... we don't have everything in our control always. Sometimes you just have to do whats right to the best of your abilities."

"Thank Ryan. What would i do without you..."

It was getting dark now.

"Shall we head home?"

"Not now, i have something special planned..."
He took my hand and lead me to the ferries wheel.

"After you." He opened the door and we went in . The view from the top was breathtaking. The whole city lit up like small sparkles.

"Ryan its beautiful." I said.

"Its not over yet." He told me and point out the window. One by one the fireworks started to shine.

"Wow... you did this?"

"Yes i knew how much you liked them. And we couldn't enjoy it in the beach together." He smiled.

"I love it Ryan!" I looked out the window.

"Scar..."

I turned around to face him and he sealed his lips on to mine.

It was tender soft kiss. My heart ran a marathon and my cheek took colour.

He separated his lips from mine and asked me,"i know the answers to this but i have to ask... how to you feel about me? Have you thought about my confession?"

My heart was beating like a drum. But he is a genuine guy. I need to answer him properly.

"Ryan i do like you but.."

"Ah the famous heart-aching but..."

I took a deep breath. "Ryan the truth is i do like you genuinely. You make me nervous and yet i am at easy & fun around you. You have every quality that a girl wants in a guy. Your funny, handsome and can steal anyone heart."

"But not yours ... is it?" He said with a sorrow voice.

"Ryan" i held his hand," i do feel for you but I can't love you like that. I tried to move on, I tried to forget him but I can't make my heart see anyone beside Noah. Even if he rejects me i will understand it. I love him. I just... i am sorry if i lead you on any way. It wasn't my intention but your my dear friend. Your more than a close friend to me. I am sorry I can't respond yo your feelings. " my heart ached but i had to tell him. I couldn't hang him like that.

He smiled at me," i knew it still had to try. And as i said before your my friend before anything else. So don't feel like a stranger or awkward around me."

"Thank you for understanding."

"Noah is a luck guy. And as i am his best friend i can tell you that he will be luck to have you. He will treat you like a princess."

"I still don't know whats his heart want but i trust you."

"Take it from me Scar, the only reason i am backing down is the other guy is Noah. And i grew up with him so i know how genuine he is."

I hugged him. "You will always be my dear friend Ryan. Close to my heart."

"All i want to me beside you Scar. Even if i am not your lover. I am happy to be your friend."

We hugged eachother and stayed like that for a while admiring the night.

"By the way i am not sorry for kissing you though." He chuckled.

"Its okay. I will over look it." I giggled.

It Happy yet sad ending to a special night.
