I woke up early this morning (it's a Saturday) because my personal maids had to groom me for my departure, I couldn't believe this was happening, that witch of a woman that refers to herself as my mother, I pray that she receives a slow painful death from one of those vampire hunters =3=, I whined but only in my head as I was fitted in my best gothic Lolita black clothes and had my hair pulled neatly into two side ringlets, then I was led outside to the chariot by the chauffeur and ushered gently unto the chariot

"Bye Scar, I'll see you later." Aira, my only friend in the mansion said as we embraced and tried to hold back tears, but I was doing a better job at it

I looked up at my mother's room and caught her looking down upon me from her window then she turned around and rested her back on the window, still with complete posture, I gritted my teeth and clenched my hands as I felt tears prickle on the brim of my eyelids, I will not let her overpower me I thought as the chariot started moving, I turned and I watched the house move further away as I retreated, then my vision suddenly became blurry and I blacked out as i passed the gate.

={Mother's POV}=

I turned my back to the window and crossed my arms over my chest as Rosaline exited the buildings confinements I couldn't watch her leave it was very painful and I would have broken down in tears, I can't let her see me cry because she's just like her father, always leaving scars in my heart.

"Maria is all well?" My sister asked with a devilish grin then I wiped my eyes and looked away

"I'm fine." I say looking her straight in the eye for direct eye contact.

"Oh Maria, my sweet older sister, you should know better than this, this is her future, her powers were not meant to be waisted on the inhabitants of this tiny building now were they?" She asked mockingly as she fake pouted and drew her arms away from her crossed knees propping her head up on her armrest with one and twirling a lock of hair around her fingers on her other hand.

I bristled and brushed my arm with my hand.

"Maria Maria, you were always the kindest one, and yet you're still to good hearted, if I didn't know you I would have doubted if you were a vampire at all, let alone a pure blood." My sister taunted walking over and lifting up my chin so we were at the same eye level, "you my dear are a disgrace to all vampires everywhere, making the same mistake father did to marry a human, but fathers case was different, he didn't know she wasn't a vampire until a few weeks prior their wedding, but you knew right from the start, he was a human and he was a vampire hunter but you went ahead to marry him anyways and your cursed daughter oh how I pity her, at least our brother was born completely human and not a red-haired beast like your daughter, despicable creature." She said digging her checkered print painted nails into my bone as I whimpered then she dropped her hand and started leaving, I stared at her back in pure hatred till I finally found my voice and re straightened my posture.

"Wait!" I shouted after her and she stopped turning her head slightly.

"Yes?"

"What did you do to him, Conor will never want her to enroll in a place that will bring her misery."

"Well maybe he had a..." She paused, "change of heart." She said wistfully as she waved her hand dismissing any further comments then she laughed like a maniac exiting the room.

I clenched my fists and let my hair fall to my face and cast shadows on it, then I turned to my window into the fading red moon where the sun had begone to rise and quickly asked the God to watch over her before the moon vanished.

"Erza is that you?"

"No I'm not Titania Erza."

"Then are you God? I always thought God was a man." I said still staring at the lady

"For heaven's sake! I'm not God I'm Valcry!"

"Valcry?"

"Yes and I was told by someone special to tell you something."

"Oh, okay was that person God?"

"It may or may not be, that doesn't matter right now, you have a special talent for seeing situations that are yet to happen and you can also paint these scenes but in a manner that is almost uncomprehendable unless you are well skilled in riddling but it will still take a lot of time and- uh yes?" She asked noticing Scarlet's hand up.

"Uncomprehendable is not a real word."

Then an irk mark appeared on the lady, scratch that, Valcry's head, "will you just listen first?"

"Alright."

"Thank you, there are some people over there at Cross Academy who's futures are in a state of peril, and you are going there to help these people, especially a boy called Zero Kiriyu, and to make this easier I have given you a device and compacted it with all the information necessary about everyone, be careful."

"I'll try."

"Arlet~, Scarlet, Scarlet..." Called an unknown voice

"It seems like it's time for you to return to your realm, I will appear to you if you ever need my help."

"Miss. Scarlet please wake up we have arrived at Cross Academy, Miss. Scarlet?" The chauffeur called shaking my shoulders

"Ah, I'm awake." I said sitting up.

"We have arrived." Desmond (the chauffeur) announced opening the door and gently lifting my hand as I stepped out of the carriage (chariot, carriage same difference) and had a good look at the school, "so... This is the death trap." I said smirking as I got out of the car completely and let go of Desmond's hand, straightening my bodice, "better prepare for trouble, cause this princess doesn't do rules or schools or definitely Cross Academy."
