Pietro and I followed Strucker into a well-light laboratory. It's filled to the brim with all sorts of machines. Some of them I recognized, some I had no clue. We follow him into a small room, which looks like the kind of place one might have meetings. There are about 7 chairs, around a long oval-shaped table. He sits at the head of the table, while my brother and I pick random seats around the table.

We sit in silence for a minute. Then, Dr. Strucker speaks. "I need to know." His voice was quiet. "I am aware that I have a reputation around this town. For all you've heard, you're assuming you're going to die. Why would you volunteer for this?" I glanced at Pietro. "We want to bring peace to Sokovia," He says. "And an end to the America's 'aid'," I add. Strucker laughs. This makes me angry. "What's so funny?" I spat. "What do you have against America?" He smiles, "HYDRA, as well as myself, have been keeping an eye on you two. You take part in all sorts of protests. But, most of them are against America's involvement here. Why?" I'm fuming, so Pietro speaks for me. "Tony Stark killed our parents," He said, "He would have killed us as well." Strucker's eyes light up. "I can help you," He purred, "Let me guess. You've decided that riots and protests aren't cutting it. You want to do more for your country, and more against America." I hated to admit it, but he was spot on. We both remain silent. "I'll take that as a yes, then?" I nodded begrudgingly.

"Well," He said, "Our goal here is to push these... invaders out of Sokovia." Pietro looked at me, raised an eyebrow. "We would only like to do some experiments on you two. Sure, it has resulted in some unintended consequences for the others, but you seem different." I stared at Strucker. He stared back. I broke eye contact first. I glanced back at my brother. We have a silent conversation with our eyes. I look back to the doctor. We spoke simultaneously. "We'll do it." Strucker smiles. He has a creepy smile. "Excellent. Follow me!"
