I woke up many hours later because I heard people talking. I sat up and raised my head. I looked up at the doctors. They were discussing. "Good morning! We didn't mean to wake you u," one of the doctors stated. "We were only checking up on Kunikuzushi. He still hasn't woken up" the other added. "Does that mean something is wrong?" I worriedly asked. "Don't be afraid. Nothing is wrong. However, he should have awoken by now. But we'd want to discuss something with you. Do you mind coming out for a minute?" the doctor said. "Okay" I said, standing up and walking out with them. "We discovered cocaine in his system, a large amount not to mention. We don't know if the police will do anything or if his parents have already spoken with them, but we need this information in our report. If you don't mind us asking, do you know why he would do this?" the doctor questioned. "Well. I'm convinced he did this as a reaction of our argument around a month ago. But I'm not sure if he tried to overdose on pourpuse" I explained. They nodded and scribbled something. "All right, no more questions. You should eat something at the hospital's cafeteria. You've been here for quite some time. "You should bring something for him to eat when he wakes up" the other doctor suggested. I listened to them. 

I went to the cafeteria and brought us both some food. I wasn't really hungry, so I got an apple for myself. When I returned to the room, I sat back down on the chair and placed the food on the small cabinet. I rested my head on the bed once more. I raised my eyes to him. At least, they removed the mask. My eyes welled up once more. "Scara, I'm sorry. It's completely my fault. I can't lose you too" I stated this as I buried my face into the hospital bed. I was crying when I felt a hand stroke my hair. I slowly raised my head and saw Scara awake. He was smiling at me. I froze for a second, but after I realized what was going on, I stood up and hugged him carefully. I sobbed quietly into his chest as he stroked my hair. "Please, do not cry. I'm perfectly fine. And, please understand, it was not your fault" he spoke to me. I was relieved and glad that he was awake now. "But that was completely my fault. I should not have been upset about what you did in the past. And you changed, and now you nearly killed yourself as a result of that argument. You even went to rehab after that incident. I should have believed you at the time" I said to him. "It's okay, Y/N. We should have both listened to each other. I'm sorry as well" he stated this as I drew away from the hug. "Okay. And how long have you been awake?" you asked of him. He averted his gaze, considering. "I awoke while you and the doctors were talking outside," he explained. "Did you really pretend to be asleep when I came back!? Did you even tell the doctors you were awake?" I asked him, slightly raising my voice. "Oh. Well. I had forgotten about that" as he scratched his neck, he replied. "Ugh. I'm going to inform the doctors" I said this as I stood up and headed out the door. I informed the doctors, and they returned to check on him. After that, they told me that everything was okay with him now, but that he would need to stay in the hospital for a few days. They even called his parents, who stated they will be in the hospital soon. I was now standing alongside him, attempting to assist him in eating. "I can eat on my own. I don't require help" he said as he tryed to take to bowl away from me. "After what has happened, I will not leave your side and I will help you. This soup bowl is incredibly hot, and you'll burn yourself with your weakened hands. So please allow me to do this for you" you asked him. He eventually agreed to let me feed him. He didn't finish all, but he did eat something. Ei and Yae entered the room not long after he finished eating. "Kunikuzishi! Are you all right?" while hugging him, the woman with purple hair questioned. "I'm all right. Now, let go of me" he stated. He's always grumpy, I swear. "Did you do it on pourpuse?" Miko asked. "No. It was a freaking accident" he spat back. "Do you mean what you say? You've caused so much trouble, brat. A huge issue for us and Y/N. They stayed with you the entire time and didn't even go to school or work because of this" said the pink-haired lady, staring at Scara. "Miko. Please don't argue with him" Ei remarked. "As I already said, it was an accident. I apologized to Y/N earlier. I realize what I did was stupid-" he was talking when the pink-haired woman interrupted him. "Do you acknowledge? It was the worst idea! Ei was terrified, as was Y/N! Even I was worried! You weren't thinking normally! Do you want to return to rehab?" she inquired as she approached him. I threw myself between him and Yae. "Look, I understand. Going back to drugs was not a good decision. But it isn't his fault. It my fault" I explained. Scara tried to intervene, but I continued. 

"I didn't tell the entire truth. It was my fault because I reacted too abruptly. We had a fight, and then this happened. I made him feel awful, and he probably saw drugs as a way out of the situation. If you're going to be mad at someone, it should be me" I felt sad as I gently took Scara's hand in mine. "You two act like a couple right now. You two even defend each other" Miko remarked, furrowing her brows. "Because we're, hag" Kuni stated behind me. The two women exchanged glances. Yae exhaled loudly and exited the room. Ei got closer to me and gave me a big hug. "Thank you for looking after him. I appreciateit" she said as she pulled away from the hug. "I'm going to speak with her. She is stubborn. Don't be afraid. You are not in any trouble. You must return to school tomorrow Y/N, but you are not required to work the remainder of the week. Take some time to relax" she continued, and when she was finished, she exited the room as well. I stayed whit Scara for a few more hours before heading home after a long day.
