I woke up with a throbbing headache. I rubbed my eyes and looked around me. I didn't know where I was, but it was really dark and I couldn't see anything. I tried to walk around, hoping to find a way out, but all I did was stumble upon stuff. 

"Arya?" Someone squeaked. 

"T-Taylor?" I asked in shock. 

"Yeah it's me," She said.

"B-but how? You were in Australia" I said. I was probably dreaming. 

"I was walking when someone knocked me out when I woke up I found myself here," She said.

"But why would someone kidnap both of us?" I asked, still in shock. 

"I don't know, and I don't think it matters," She said "Right now, we need to focus on getting out" 

"But- where are you exactly?" I asked, realizing that I still couldn't see a thing.

"I'm not sure, but I think we're in rooms facing each other," She said.

"We need to wait until sunrise to get some sunlight," I said "Do you have a watch?"

"Yes, and it's 6:40, the sun should be here soon," She said.

We waited in silence, and slowly light came through the windows and we could see what was around us. And Taylor was right, we were in rooms facing each other. They were nothing but small boxes and windows. 

I turned back and saw Taylor standing in front of me. 

"Woah! You scared me" I said keeping my hand over my chest. "How'd you get out?"

"I used this," She said holding a hairpin.

"Perfect! We have to hurry though, they could come back any minute" I said. 

She nodded at me, before using her hairpin to unlock the door. 

"Thank you," I said. 

"Don't mention it" She said.

"It looks like no one's here," I said.

"What makes you so sure?" Taylor asked.

"Otherwise they would've heard us. This place isn't exactly huge" I said scanning my surroundings. 

"Great! Then let's take advantage of that," She said.

I nodded enthusiastically, as horrible as the situation was, being with Taylor made it so much better. 

We walked a little bit, but not long after we started I grabbed Taylor's hand. 

"What?" She asked.

"Don't tell me you didn't notice that" I said. 

"Notice what?" She asked in confusion.

"That stench," I said. 

"Oh- I did, but I figured it was nothing. Let's just keep moving we can't waste time here" She said. 

I wanted to investigate further because it seemed no one was here. But Taylor was right too. We got kidnapped by the killer, we were lucky to be alive right now. And staying here was only asking for trouble. So I continued walking.

"Hey, maybe we can get out from here!" I said pointing towards a door and walked towards it. 

"No- I don't think-" Taylor started but it was too late, I already went in. 

Unlike the other rooms, this one wasn't empty. It had a weird trolley-like thing that lead to a huge chimney box-like thing. I spent a few moments staring at it with my jaw dropped. 

I opened a drawer nearby and found a girl's graduation photo, something was scribbled under it. As I looked closely I realized it was her initials! It was written "C.A"

"We need to hurry Arya! I heard them coming" She said tugging my arm. 

I followed her to the exit, but we couldn't make it out in time. 

"Where do you think you're going?" A loser with a black mask on asked. 

"Out of here," I said trying to sound confident, but I was trembling on the inside. 

"Not so fast" Another person came. I glanced at Taylor who seemed more angry than scared. I loved her confidence, if only I could be like her. 

"It's showtime," she said

She started running towards them, and I followed her not knowing what to do. There was a table blocking our way so we slid under it and continued running. 

One of the masked people threw a bucket of pins in an attempt to stop us. But we zig-zag ran and evaded the pins.

The other threw a basketball to stop me, but I smacked it back at her. One of the masked people threw something at me, I wasn't sure what it was but whatever it was it left me with a bloody gash on my cheek.

"Ow!" They said. 

I took a u-turn and went back to the door, only to realize it was locked. 

"The key is in their shoe!" Taylor said. 

"Got it!" I yelled back. 

I ran back towards her but the person got a gun out. I froze, I was going to die today :(

But Taylor came from their side and kicked their face!

"Hiyah!" She said. The person fell back. I quickly grabbed the key. We tried to run away but the exit was blocked by another person. 

So we ran up the stairs and into a room. We tried to break open the window but it didn't work.

"There's no use trying to escape," One of them said 

And to say I wasn't prepared for what I saw next was an understatement. I was under the impression that we were in a little hut in the middle of a forest. But we were in a crematorium! It made sense for them to pick this place, it seemed as though no one had been here for a long time. 

"Let's go to my house, it's not too far from here," I said. 

I looked back when I didn't get a reply and saw that she was still fighting them! I ran back and helped her push them back in. We locked the door from the outside and bolted out of there. We ran towards a bus stop and sat there to catch our breath.

We gazed into each other's eyes not knowing what to say. 

"Are you ok?" She asked. 

"Yeah, I'll be fine," I said panting "And you?"

"Same here" She replied.

"Great," I said relieved "I'd never forgiven myself if I let something happen to you" 

"Lead the way," She said standing up. 

"Where?" I asked not knowing what she meant.

"You said we were going to your house," She said. 

"Oh right! Follow me" I said. "I have to show you something anyway."

"You airheads had one job!" a female voice echoed through the room. "To make sure Arya doesn't find this place" 

No one replied to her. 

"And what did you end up doing? You brought her right to this place" 

"I'm sorry, we tried," Someone said. 

"What will we do now?" Another asked. 

"I must become someone else to lead them astray," She said.

"I don't understand boss" 

"I am going to get a fake identity," She said and laughed evilly.
