I tied the last knot on the rope and got up from my crouched position.

In front of me sat a tied up Arya and whatever her friend's name is. It broke my heart to see her like this, and the fact that I was the reason for her situation made me feel worse. But I knew this was the only option I had.

Some of Caia's minions were walking around. It felt weird using her real name, I'd been so used to calling her 'Kaylee' these last few months.

Slowly, Arya opened her eyes and looked around. After a minute or so she fully gained consciousness and spoke up.

"What have you done to us?" She asked with horror in her eyes.

"Since you wouldn't stop investigating," I said "We have to silence you"

"If you touch a hair on her head I will incinerate you!!" Ethan growled.

I rolled my eyes at him, such a wannabe. 

Just then, Caia walked in. 

"Hello," She said apathetically. 

"How could you do this Kaylee?" Arya asked sadly "I thought we were friends"

"It's not my fault you're so quick to trust people," She said evilly. "Also, you can call me Caia now"

"No need," Arya said.

"But why?" 

"Because I know that 'Caia' isn't the real you. You don't have to do this Kaylee, I know there's good in you" Arya tried convincing her.

"You know Kaylee was just a disguise right?" Caia said "This is the real me, and you can't stop me"

"Please don't kill her," Ethan said.

"We're not killing just  Arya" I spoke up "You know our identities too, that means we have to kill you both" 

They both tried struggling out of their ropes, and we just laughed at them. 

"Don't bother trying to break free," Caia said.

"Why are you doing all of this?" Arya asked with innocent eyes.

"We just told you," I said "You know our identities, it's too risky to have you alive"

"No, not that," Ethan said "She means why started mass-murdering"

"It's a long story," Caia said with a sigh.

"It's the least you can do after deceiving me," Arya said with an innocent face.

"Ugh, fine," She said. I could obviously tell that Arya was trying to buy time, hoping that the cops or someone will save her. I wasn't gonna say anything though.

"It all started in high school. I accidentally got mixed up in the wrong crowd, they called themselves the black spades" Caia said. "They did all the illegal things like stealing, scamming and all, and if anyone got in their way, they'd be dead"

Arya and Ethan gasped in shock, but like, surely at this point they knew that this gang kills people, why are they so shocked?

"Anyway, long story short, the gang leader got arrested and asked me to lead them all" 

"But why did you become a serial killer?" Ethan asked.

"I don't kill people randomly, I only kill those who deserve it," She said calmly.

"But Olivia didn't deserve that!" Arya screamed.

"She's not as innocent as you think, Arya," I told her.

"What are you talking about?" She asked nervously.

"Whatever, I don't have time for this" Caia said as she was about to leave to get her gun. 

"Olivia used to be part of the gang too" I spoke up. Arya deserved answers.

"No, that's impossible!" Arya said in disbelief.

"No, it's not. She used to steal jewellery from stores and money from banks" I explained to her. "But one day she tried to poison Caia so she could take over the gang, it didn't work and then she was killed for trying to betray her"

"Olivia could never do such a thing!" Ethan screamed, "I know my sister, ok?"

I rolled my eyes at him, I did not have the patience for all of this. Caia also rolled her eyes at him and went to another room, to bring the gun I assumed. But I was wrong, well kind of wrong at least.

She came back with an axe, it had blood stains all over it, the blood of her previous victims. Ethan and Arya looked terrified, I guess they were also expecting a gun.

"No please, don't do this!" Ethan begged. I guess he finally decided to let go of his cool kid act.

"I'm not a fool to listen to you," Caia said and laughed psychotically. 

"Wait, I haven't got all the answers I needed yet," Arya said trying to stall again, I thought Caia would see through her and ignore her, but I guess not.

"Fine, what do you want to know this time?" She asked, entertaining this nonsense.

"Are you and Taylor siblings?" She asked.

"Yes, we are," I said "You overheard us speaking, why are you acting like you don't know?"

"I just wanted to make sure," She said.

"Any other questions?" I asked her.

"Yes, why did you both pretend to be helping me? If you didn't want me to find out you could've just convinced me not to" She said.

"I did try to convince you, remember? You just wouldn't listen to me" I said annoyed.

"Ok, but you kinda helped me find clues, why didn't you try to lead me astray?" Arya inquired. I was kinda surprised that she was using her brain and asking sensible questions. 

"Because I didn't know that my sister was the killer, I found out very recently," I told her "Until then, I was actually helping"

"How did you not recognise your sister then?" Ethan asked.

"Because I came in a disguise," Caia said, "This isn't my real face, the one in the graduation photo you found is"

"Then why did you show me your inventions, you knew those would help. It's like you wanted to get caught" Arya said sarcastically.

"I needed to gain your trust, I couldn't just walk around getting information from you, you never suspected me because I helped you," Caia said.

"My head is going to explode!" Arya screamed "I believed you were a nice person, and all three of us could be friends or something, and I felt so guilty when you got burned because I thought it was my fault! But it's not, you prepared all of this all along, you are a psycho!" 

Her outburst left everyone speechless, I'd never heard her yell at anyone like that. For a few seconds, everyone went silent. The only sounds that could be heard were the swishing of trees. Soon enough though, Caia spoke.

"Enough talking, you got all your answers, now it's time for me to kill you" 

"Wait-" Arya said trying to continue stalling, but Caia didn't fall for it this time.

"I know you think you're great at stalling, but you're not, I knew what you were up to this entire time, I just went along with it. But not anymore" Caia said. She raised her axe up in the air ready to strike them.

"Are you not gonna ask us for our last wishes?" Ethan asked, also trying to stall I assumed.

"Ugh, fine make it quick" She growled.

"I want to see you without your disguise," Arya said.

"Ok," Caia said as she removed her wig revealing her long blonde hair, she removed her contact lenses and her skin colour bodysuit.

"What about you, kid?" She asked facing Ethan.

"I want to say goodbye to Arya," He said with teary eyes. Caia nodded and he turned towards Arya.

"Arya, when I first met I thought you were a goddess,  I just needed to know you, I was so happy when we became friends, and when we started secretly dating I was the happiest. The time I spent with you was the best time of my life, I know I acted like I was annoyed with you, but I'm actually happy you care so much about my sister" He said.

"Ethan, I'm so sorry, this is all my fault," Arya said with teary eyes.

"It's ok, I forgive you, I just want you to know that I love you"

I love you too!"

It was hard to see them crying like this, but I knew this is what I had to do.

"Ok, enough stalling, get ready to die"

She took the axe and aimed it at Ethan. It felt like everything was going in slow motion, her axe was nearing Ethan's body by the second, just when it was about to hit him, I pounced on her and rolled around with her.

I quickly untied them both and shouted.

"IT'S SHOWTIME!"
