Siren POV

            After I hung up, I sat down and sighed.
           "What's wrong?" My mom asked.
           "It's Adam. His dad said they got in a fight and he left. His dad doesn't know where he went."
            "Should we go and look?"
           "No. Give him time to cool off. I wonder what's wrong."
           "Adam is very nice. And very pretty," Lucy said. I laughed.
           "The word for men is handsome, Lucy," I said.
             "Siren?"
             "Yes?"
             "You just referred to Adam as a man." Everybody, and I mean everybody said:
              "Huh."

Adam's POV

            I rode my bike to my girlfriend's house. I walked up the steps and knocked. Her mom answered.
           "Adam! Come in! Kayla's in the shower, but you can wait for her." I nodded and took my sandals off. I sat down on the couch and turned on their TV.
         I heard the shower turn off and I shifted. After a few minutes, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I turned around and saw Kayla coming down the steps.
        "Hey."
         "Hey! You look stressed,  muffin. Wanna go swimming?" She asked.
        "I'd love that, cupcake." She had a sun dress on over her swimsuit. I turned off the TV and stood up. She grabbed my hand and we walked outside.
        "Do you have to get your suit?" I groaned and nodded. As we walked to my house, I told her what had happened. She told me everything would be okay.
        "Do you want me to come in with you?" She asked. I shook my head.
          "I'll be okay. In and out." I ran in past my father and up the stairs.
          "Where are you going?" He called.
          "Swimming with Kayla!" I took off my shorts and boxers and threw on my swim trunks. I grabbed my sunglasses and grabbed a towel. I walked downstairs and out the door. I grabbed Kayla's hand and we walked to the beach.
            We laid our towels down and Kayla put her bag down. I took my shirt and sandals off. She took off her dress and stood there in her bikini.

          "Wow. You're so beautiful. I-I mean...... what I meant was..... I'm just........ I mean-" she kissed me on my lips.
           "I know what you mean." Then she ran into the water. I chased after her. We had a splash war and I tackled her. She wrapped her legs around me and I held her. (Stop thinking you little nasties)
          "You're so beautiful."
          "You're so handsome." She stared at me for awhile.
         "What are you looking at?" I asked.
         "I'm counting your freckles."
         "Well don't take too long," I said. I leaned in and pecked her lips.
           "You can do better than that," she said. She leaned in and kissed me, again. I kissed her back. We broke apart and I smiled. She laughed and kicked off. We swam for awhile then we got out and laid on our towels. I put my arm around her as we laid down. We laid in silence, until I heard my name.
        "Adam! Adam!" Siren.
        "Your dad is looking for you!" Crystal.
          "We're sorry if we startled you!" That's probably my stepsisters. Darn it. I sat up and looked at Kayla.
          "I'm sorry. About this." I stood up and helped her up. I handed her, her dress and I put on my shirt. I grabbed my towel and put on my sandals.
         "Don't worry about me. Maybe we can go out tomorrow?" I smiled and nodded. By this time Siren, Crystal, Katie, Ally, and Emma were five feet away from us. She hugged me and I hugged back. We pulled away and she kissed my cheek. I heard gasping and I rolled my eyes. Kayla's smile dropped.
         "No I'm not rolling my eyes at you I'm-"
         "Yeah, I know. I'll see you tomorrow." She walked away. I ran a hand through my hair.
         "Adam? Are you okay?" Siren asked.
          "Yeah, just peachy."
