Fundraiser Part Two.

Love might just be a four-letter word. But someone who knows the extent of it will know that it's a feeling that never dies.

Each time, Veronica had a call, she would excuse herself and walk to the other room to take the call. These movements became suspicious to Theo. He wasn't in love with her but she was still spending the money that he earns.

"I will call you later. Yes at the same place. I promise I will see you there", Veronica tells the other person who was on the other line.

"Who was that?", Theo asks her.

She quickly hung up the phone.

"Just a friend she wanted to hang out with tomorrow. She just arrived from Japan where she has been living for the last 5 years. We were going to catch up tomorrow", Veronica lies to him.

"Okay, I have to go out to meet up with Jack and the guys. I will be back late". He tells her knowing that he was about to call someone to follow her.

"Okay, I will go back to my apartment", she takes her bag and heads out.

Does she think am stupid?

As he was about to call his friends, he received a message from Jack. He had sent a picture of Arian.

"Hey, did you get the picture?" Jack asks as soon as Theo answers.

"Yes, I did...."

"That's your wife, Arian. She is with someone else. I am staring at them right now", Jack tells him. "She is here because of her father who is in the hospital, right?"

"Yes, I know that. I saw her a month ago", Theo explained to him.

"Who is the guy she is with?" Jack asks Theo. He felt something that he thought he wouldn't feel for Arian.

"That's her boyfriend. Her mother told me about him when I went to see her father", Theo told Jack

A few days ago Theo had found something shocking to him. It turns out that they aren't divorced. Someone had delivered the papers to his office but there was no address.

It just had a note saying;

"Second Chances are rare. When they come, you can't give them up. This is yours. Take or leave it. It is your choice".

Theo knew that he shouldn't waste this second chance he was given. But he needed a plan to get her back from her boyfriend.

Maybe Mandy would help him but then he realized that when Theo met her, she had threatened to break his legs and show him how to walk without them.

"Theo, are you there?" Jack asks as all he heard was slience on the other side of the phone.

"Yes, I am here. But I have to go now".

"Okay, sure no problem. Are we still on for tonight?" Jack asks Theo.

"Yes".

Theo had to get her back one way or the other. But the main question is how?

First, he needed to know who Veronica was meeting. He was getting tired of her because of her spending and constant cheating.

The day of the fundraiser had arrived it was time for Theo to get his plan ready to get Arian.

"Everything is ready, Sir. As per your request", Keith tells him.

"That's good. I will let you know the time for take-off", Theo tells him while walking into the venue just in time for Arian's auction.

Arian has been happily dating Liam for almost six months now. But now that she is back from Spain because of her father's health problems, she has to come back.

Theo knew that she was back but he hadn't seen her yet.

"Mandy, I told you I would go and I promised. Don't worry I know the time and don't worry about me", she assures her best friend.

"I know that but if you don't want to do it. Tell me I will ask someone else. I know that Liam would be a bit jealous.....

"Mandy, Liam won't be coming. He told me he has an important meeting with a few clients on his. I think Mike knows that too. Anyways I have to do now plus I haven't forgotten what you did. The uber is here to take me to the venue. Talk later".

Mandy wanted to tell her that Mike didn't have any meetings tonight with any client but decided against it because she had to find out what was going on with Liam.

"Babe, is there something you would tell me about a certain meeting that is happening?" Mandy asks her husband after hanging up the phone.

"I am here with you. So there is no meeting that I know about and whoever told you is lying to you. Now where were we?".

"Wait. So you are saying that Liam is lying to my best friend and you are trying to get me pregnant when I already am".

"What? What do you mean by that?".

"That Liam lied to Arian but the question is why did he lie?".

Mike was still shocked to find out that Mandy was pregnant. All he could think about was her being pregnant.

"Babe, are you listening?", she waved her hand on his face.

"Yes, I am listening. You are having a baby. Our baby".

"Yes, now we need to know where Liam is....."

"Liam can wait. You and I can't".

Meanwhile, at the event, Arian arrived and was dragged to the dressing room to get changed and glamoured.

"You will be number 12 meaning the last one. So if anyone bides the highest on you. He gets a weekend date and it is for this upcoming weekend", the coordinator explains to her.

"Okay, I understand".

She took a seat in the waiting lounge. Each number was called up until her number.

As she walked up on the stage she could feel all the stares of people who were there but she couldn't make any of their faces out due to the dimmed lights.

It was a fundraiser for kids who have cancer. This was the part where someone would be auctioned for a weekend with the highest bidder.

It was Arian's turn as she volunteered when her best friend asked her. Everyone was watching her.

"Okay, we are going to start our bidding at one thousand dollars", said the auctioneer.

Each person started bidding on what they thought would win a week with Arian.

But as soon as the bidding ended, someone stood up and said; "Two million dollars".

Everyone who was there couldn't match that amount. Arian couldn't believe that someone could bide that much money.

"Going once, going twice. Sold to Mr. Walcott", announced the auctioneer. As soon as she heard his name she knew that he found her.

"I found you, My wife. And I am not letting you go again", he whispered in her ear as they walked hand in hand down the stage.

Arian didn't know what to do but she followed him down the stage. Theo held her arm not letting her go until they reached the room where Arian kept her things.

"Could you let me go, please?".

"I am never letting you go not now and not ever. You are mine...

"Didn't you forget Mr. Walcott that we are divorced and I am not yours besides I have a boyfriend. You only have a weekend date with me and that's what it will be nothing else", Arian tells him walking towards the back where she kept her things that were in the room.

"Am sorry to disappoint you, we are still legally married...."

"Just sign them or you still need to be taught how to write...."

Theo moved towards her as her back hit the wall.

"Well, my dear wife, you can teach me while I can teach you a lot of things too", his voice made Arian shiver, not because of the cold but because he was too close to her.

I still affect her. She will be mine once again.

"Umm, could you move?", Arian tries to push him away but he won't even barge. "Are you made of stone? Move".

"Come on Love. We have a weekend together and Iplan to make the most of it", he tells her grabbing her waist and leading her to his car.

"My uber is here....."

"You are coming with me. Either to get in or I carry you. Your choice, Love".

"Theo, the weekend has even started yet and......"

Theo didn't wait for her to continue as he carried her to the car and opened the door to let her in.

"Theo, stop. I told you that I have a boyfriend who will be waiting for me at home", Arian lies to him knowing that Liam isn't home.

"One you can't lie and two there's no one home. Three you live alone. Do I need to continue?", he smirks knowing that Arian is lying because she didn't answer him.

"Don't you have a fiancée waiting for you at home? Or is she with someone else right now?".

Arian knew that Veronica was cheating on him with different men. But she had no idea that Theo also found out a few days ago that Liam and Veronica were going to meet up.

"She isn't my fiancée. Are you jealous, my wife?".

"No, and don't call me that. Are we going or sleeping in the car? Let me guess you don't have a house...."

Theo moved closer to her, she stiffened for a moment.

"Don't worry, Love. I am only helping you with your seatbelt. We don't want anything to happen. Besides, we have the entire weekend for that", he tells her pulling away from her.

"That will never happen", she murmured.

A lot of things might happen. I was blind by the beauty and lies that Veronica fed me but now am determined to get you back. But if you don't want me back I won't force you to be with me.

Arian couldn't keep her eyes open so she started drowsing in the car. She has been running errands for Mandy. They have been planning to surprise Mike with a cake and baby shoes.

Mike always wanted to be a dad. 

Instead of taking her home, he turned towards the airport where he had his private plane waiting for them. He took his phone and called the pilot.

"Keith, get the plane ready. You know where we should go. And no one should know and I want you to send me the whereabouts of Veronica.", Theo tells his pilot.

"Of course sir. Anything else?".

"No, that's it. I am now parking the car", he hung up.

Theo parked the car and slowly carried Arian trying not to wake her up.

"Welcome aboard sir....."

"You can now take off Keith. Thank you", he interrupted him.

Keith just nodded and went back to the cockpit. Theo looked at Arian who was still in his arms.

"I promise to change your mind before the weekend ends. You are so beautiful, my wife", he says putting down on the bed.
