Seven years later

"Allah Miya, Tahiya if you don't get up at once I'm going to take away your unicorn toy" I warned my four-year-old daughter, who is just like her Chachu Zain toofan and ziddi.

"Kainaat where is your maths notebook?" I asked the other one, who is just like her father I can not believe they are twins and both are of each other just like Alaya and Shahzain.
"Ammi...Kainaat trails off in her baby voice fidgeting with the hem of her dress.
"What happened now?" I asked kneeling in front of her.
"I forgot to do the homework" she voices lowly.
"Uff, Kainaat bring your notebook," I said softly, she is such a doll always does as she is told, unlike Tahiya she is the one who always gets on my nerves.

"Amaan sees if Tahiya woke up yet or not" I yelled while helping Kainaat with her homework.
"You know she only listens to one person in this house and that's not us call Zain" he replies from the bathroom with shaving cream on his face.

I huffed out in frustration it's Zain who is spoiling her so much "Kainaat keep this notebook in your bag Ammi will be back in a minute" I told her and went into Zain's room.

He wasn't there so I went to look in the living room where he was sitting with Miraal, it been two years since they got married and still cannot keep their hands off each other " Khuda ke liye Tahiya madam ko dekhe jaa ke" I ordered Zain who looks at me startled.
"Firse nahi uthi vo?" he questions.
"You know, you are the only one who can wake her up now go she's getting late for school," I said going into the kitchen to pack their lunch.

(For God's sake go and see Tahiya)

(She didn't wake up again)

"Do you need any help Bhabhi?" Miraal asks in her sweet voice.
"No, not here will you please check on Kainaat and bring her down," I said keeping the sandwiches in their tiffins and some fruits.

I never thought my life would change like this, when I think about what happened sometimes it aches my heart but one look at my beautiful daughters and my husband takes it all away when we found out I was pregnant with two girls I instantly told Maan that we will name them after my mothers Kainaat and Tahiya. He was so happy everyone was in the family.

After a break, I finally started working in a hospital still working on the dream of having my clinic someday that will also happen Insha-Allah.

Khaloo took retirement from the company, Zain and Amaan took over and everything is going good Alaya is settled and happy in her life she also has a cute baby boy Farzaan, who is just as amazing as his mother.

Our family is completed now.

I have never wanted or craved anything more than what I have now in my life, my family is everything to me and I believe a person cannot ask for more when they are surrounded by their loved ones, a few years back I lost a very important part of me I thought I could never come back from that I felt lost, empty, broken, alone and betrayed by my destiny and unfortunately by my father who brought me in this world but then I was given another chance with life to start over, a clean slate I know there have been many obstacles but with the help of my family and my Allah, with their love and care I have conquered all my fears and that has also conquered over the darkness that I felt.

It is true about what they say if one door closes then God opens another, just like Allah took away one family from me and gave me mother and father like Khala, Khaloo, Zain is been my backbone just like Danish Bhai would have been and what can I say about Amaan he is been there for me since the start he is been my strength who stood by me through everything and I wish to do the same for him, I know I'm not even half good as him but I want to try for him and our kids. I want to make a better life for my kids.

I have felt the strength in Amaan's love, he has ravished me just like I intend with him, I felt the type of love which I knew had been given by him only and I want him to feel the same for me even after all these years I fell weak in my knees whenever he kisses me or as such comes near me I feel breathless whenever he looks at me every time he surprises me and I just feel the earth sway away underneath my feet, it's like he always catches me off, guard, he gives me goosebumps dancing along my spine.

He captivates me every time.

"Ammi, I don't want to go to school" Tahiya comes running to me pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Uff Tahiya, this is not done every other day you don't want to go to school, I think you don't want to be like your Chachu," I said, this is the only way I can make her go to school.
She pouts folding her little arms across her chest huffing out annoyingly" okay fine, but just because I want to be like Chachu then I will sit on a big chair like him".

"You cannot blackmail her always with my name" Zain walks into the living room.
"Well, I'll do till she listens and does the work," I said getting up from the floor.

"Laila where is my wallet?" Amaan walks down with Kainaat and her bag.
"I kept with your car keys and the watch," I said groaning he always do this forget stuff then asks me where it is even when it is literally in front of his eyes.

"Oh forget it I'll get it and here keep this in her bag" I hand him Kainaat's lunch box, quickly running to our room where Ms. Tahiya was lying down on the floor trying to do something with her hands and legs Allah knows what this girl is up to sometimes.

"Tahiya what are you doing love?" I ask bending down.
"Making a snow angel," she says in her innocent voice, I smile looking at my sweet child.
"But baby we make snow angels when we are in the snow not in our room," I tell her, she frowns puckering her eyebrows together.
"So why we don't have any snow in our room?" She asks.
I chuckled" because if we have that here then it will be cold right, and you know Kainaat doesn't like cold plus where we will keep your toys and other stuff" I try to explain to her.

She thinks for a moment then speaks up" okay, I guess" she says shrugging her shoulders.
"Okay, so get up now and let's get you to school," I said making her stand taking her bag, and picking up Amaan's wallet we went down.

"Princess is ready to leave?" Amaan asks Tahiya she nods quietly.

"You coming?" Amaan asks.
"Yeah you guys wait in the car I'll be there I just have to get my phone," I said, these days I have to ring if I want to find my phone Kainaat loves to play Candy Crush on the phone, and she never keeps back on the place.
"Do you need me to call on it?" Miraal asks.
"Yes please, I have no idea where it is," I said chuckling.

After finally finding my phone we left for our work after dropping Kainaat and Tahiya to school.

•••

"Ammi I didn't do anything, it was him who pulled my hair" Tahiya lashes out looking at the boy who was sitting across the room, me and Amaan were called to their school because Tahiya was in a fight with some boy.
"Tahiya, you shouldn't have punched him, you could've talked it out" I try to reason with her but instead she glares at me.

Amaan walks out of the Principal's office "they are letting it go this time, but Tahiya it shouldn't be repeated" he says kneeling in front of him, she just nods at him and we took her home.

The whole ride was in silence "are you going back to work?" Maan questions.
"No, I'm going to stay with her today anyway I didn't have any appointments today," I said glancing at Tahiya who was in the backseat looking angrily at us for making her apologize to that kid.
"Maybe it's the right thing to do and I'll pick up Kainaat later" we reached home, Miraal was waiting outside we informed her on the way to school.

"What happened?" She asks concerned as we get down from the car.
"Tahiya punched some boy," Amaan tells with a straight face, he is angry at her I guess.
"Well in her defense that boy pulled her hair" I replied taking her inside, to which she giggles lowly but puts on a straight face as soon as Amaan looks at her.

"It's okay love," I said taking her to the room bathing her and tucking her in bed.

Amaan comes inside the room whilst I was keeping their toys on the place and their dirty clothes in the laundry bag, having kids is tiring I would agree but when those little munchkins come and kiss you on your forehead or even do anything remotely cute all the worries and weariness goes away, Maan pulls me for a hug" oh I missed you" he whispers.
"But you were in the office just for few hours" I chuckled and said a bit loudly and he shushes me because Tahiya was asleep.

"Don't you have to go to the office or attend some big meeting?" I question removing his tie, looking at him playfully.
"I have to but I think Zain can handle it plus it's not like I'm going to miss this opportunity here" he teases kissing me on my jaw.
"Stop, your daughter is sleeping we can not make noise" I warn him, putting my hands around his neck.
He pulls me closer " Mrs.Bashir there are so many rooms empty in this mansion, so I think we've got that covered".

He takes my hand running towards the room at the dead-end of our wing "see" he says unlocking the door.
"You do realize we are parents of two beautiful daughters and it doesn't suit us sneaking around like some teenagers" I gave him a fake glare.
"Oh come on, how about we bring another beautiful daughter or handsome son in this world, and for that, we have to sneak around like some teenagers" he mimicks in my tone.

I press my lips against his, he lays me down on the bed hovering over me, he starts to kiss on my neck giving me butterflies in my stomach, even if I have felt him near me thousands of time but each time it feels different and amazing, he intertwines our fingers the way he leaves the trails of kisses on my shoulder, and neck it leaves me bewitched, the intensity of his love increases every time or how it settles on every part of my body and soul, I always crave him as much as he craves me with each kiss he makes me his and I don't want any of it to end.

I had heard people talking about soulmates but I didn't know what they are actually or do they even exist but really what are soulmates, just two souls together for their whole lives, or is it related to their love, understanding, care, and every emotion that we feel or held towards each other.

I believe soulmates are those who aren't just connected by their souls they are connected with everything they have in them.

Believe it or not, it's a fascinating thing.

It like magic happening around us whenever we are together like this close to each other, how we find ourselves consumed in each other more like a drunk on each other. I'm grateful for how we became from strangers to soulmates because I'm sure he is mine just as I'm his.

He is my haven and I intend to be his.

He is my safe place, my home, my bliss.

Hello and Assalamaalikum Everyone!

So, finally here was the Epilogue it wasn't my best but I'm not that good at writing Epilogues yet but no worries working on it.

So how was the chapter?

What are your thoughts on Laila and Amaan now?

They have come a long way, been through so much especially Laila but I'm so happy she had Amaan and everyone else of course and I'm really glad they found each other.

Moving on, I want to thank every reader who supported me through this journey because when I started writing this book I had the same fear I had when I wrote Saahiba I thought no one would like my story but I got so good response and the same was given for this book which means a lot to me.

Well, this is it.

Keep Reading, Keep Smiling💋❤❤
