digitalsmeg I've been wanting to make this post for a while now.
As of late, I have noticed a lot of nepotism in the concert photography industry, namely Fontaines DC and Bug Hewson.

Clearly her Bono / U2 Card didn't work, so she had to sleep her way into photographing Fontaines DC. I think she's taking opportunities away from young aspiring photographers who would really appreciate the chance to put their name out there.

bughewson my boyfriend and his band want someone that won't make them feel on edge photographing them! not only that, but as an irish band, they want to uplift irish talent, which they have done, excluding me they've worked with a number of irish designers and artists. i'm so sorry that you as an American cannot understand people wanting to uplift individuals from their own culture, i also don't ask to be paid for the photography i do, which puts less strain on the band financially, while they have a lot of success, they are still a new band, i fully recognise my privilege in being able to photograph these successful bands with not much of a portfolio, its because my parents are famous, but that does not excuse you trying to insinuate i only got to where I am because I spread my legs. I photograph a number of artists, not just Fontaines, I just happen to photograph them more because I'm often on tours with them. As a grown woman, and one who claims to be a feminist, I'd think you'd have more sense than to try and slut shame me online. I have never met you, so I struggle to understand where your resentment for me comes from. I like uplifting other female photographers, clearly that is not a trait that we share!
