Alison Hewson had decided that the entire family should go on a walk, that was how the Hewson family had ended up half way up a hill, Bug and Carlos were quite far ahead, having been the first ones to get out of the car. Patrick was walking with his grandparents, Alison enjoyed having a baby around the family again.

Bug turned to look at Carlos who had dropped to one knee and was rummaging through his pockets, she let out a loud screech, immediately alerting the family.

Elijah had been the first one to bolt up the distance, with Eve, Grace and Jordan quickly following after him. "Bug Hewson, will you marry me?" Carlos asked as he opened the ring box.

"I object!" Elijah yelled upon seeing the sight. Bug flipped him off before nodding. "Yes, I will marry you." She nodded, Carlos quickly slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her, picking her up. Eve and Jordan exchanged a stunned look.

"What the fuck." John said aloud as he and their parents caught up to the rest of the group. "I'm engaged." Bug said excitedly, showing off her ring.

The walk up to the top of the mountain that held a bench and a commemorative landmark was full of congratulations and small conversations between two people.

Patrick had gotten fussy and decided that he wanted to be with Carlos, who had gladly taken his stepson into his arms for the rest of the walk. Bug halted and waited for her mother to catch up with her as they began the walk back down the hill.

"Isn't the ring lovely Mammy?" Bug asked her, Alison nodded. "It's wonderful love, very you." Her mother told her softly, Bug smiled softly and was silent until Alison spoke again.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Alison Hewson asked her daughter, Bug gave her a skeptical look. "I'm sure." She nodded, Alison raised an eyebrow. "It's just... we don't know him very well love, how can we know you do?" Alison explained her reasoning behind questioning the recent engagement.

"Respectfully Mammy, You all don't know me that well either. I've spent almost every waking moment with Carlos for nearly two years now, I know that I love him, we're already basically raising two children together." Bug told her mother, Alison nodded softly, she couldn't really argue with Bug on it, she had been distant even before she left home to move to London with Nell.

Bug carried on walking further down, leaving Alison behind, she saw John, who gave her a skeptical look, but Bug ignored it.

"Are you happy for me at least?" Bug asked Eve. "Yeah Ladybug, we're all happy for you, we just.. it's a shock to us that's all." Eve told her baby sister. "I do really love him." Bug told Eve, who nodded. "I just hope he's treating you properly." Eve replied, not mentioning the fact that she and Deego had recently started speaking, and Deego had shared stories of Carlos shouting at Bug in front of the band, and the fact that he worried it was worse behind closed doors.

It had made Eve's mind race, the entire walk she was studying Carlos mannerisms around Bug, watching how Bug reacted when he spoke.
