Nico is done waiting. Waiting for that kid to just wake up already.

The three years ago on Leo's death anniversary, Nico met Leo's reincarnation, Leonardo or Leo. For three years Nico put up with six year old's..I mean SEVEN year old's antics (He just turned seven last week and he keeps on reminding Nico of that). Just like Leo, He was annoying, cheerful, humorous, mischevious and broken. He was so much like Leo that Nico almost forgot that this was just his reincarnation in some instances like every night.

Today was Leo's first day of first grade and also Nico's first day on his job as a singer or in some cafe's and places, after being a Mcdonalds cashier for years. It was Leo's fault anyway. Without Nico's permission, the seven year old recorded him singing in the shower and gave the recording to Piper who grew up to be Nico's manager after the listening to the recording. It needed Piper, Leo and Hazel to convice Nico into taking the job.

It was Leo's first day of separating with Nico for a whole day unlike Kindergarden which was just half a day. Nico and Leo were inseparable in camp or anywhere at all, even if Hermes claimed Leo as his son, Leo still slept in the Hades cabin. With Chiron's permission of course. There was no way Nico would break Camp rules.

Nico was nervous if Leo would be alright there without him? But first things first. Before worrying over whether Leo will be alright or not in his first day, He must get Leo to school first.

Nico sighed and went towards Leo's bedroom in his house near the borders. Leo's left foot hanging of the bed, his red blanket was across the room and his pillow was on the floor. Nico grabbed Leo's water gun from the corner of the room and aimed directly for Leo's face. Water squirted out the gun at full force heading directly towards the sleeping seven year old's face.

The impact nearly pushed the poor kid out of his bed.

Leo screamed in surprise.

"Wakey- wakey Sleeping Beauty! First Grade starts today and you can't be late!" Nico said in a sing-songy voice.

Leo groaned and went directly to the bathroom.

Nico smiled to his self, thinking of the good job he did of waking the hyper-active seven year old.

He automatically went into the kitchen to makes pancakes and scrambled eggs. Leo's favorites along with hot chocolate. He set them down on the table, waiting for the little ball of annoyingness to finish showering.

Soon enough Leo went in the kitchen. He grinned so much that Nico thought his face rip apart.

"Thanks a lot Nico! You're the best!" Leo shrieked, launching himself to Nico and wrapping his arms around the italian's neck.

"Yeah, Yeah I know I'm the best. No need to tell me. Now hurry and eat your breakfast. You don't want to get late for your first day right?" Nico said.

Leo's eyes widened. He frantically de-attached himself from Nico and started wolfing down his food as Nico slowly drank his coffee reading K-zone. No one will ever be too old for K-zone. Even if you are now a 21 year old man.

"DONE!" Leo shrieked. He was done with his food, placed them in the dish washer and brushed his teeth. "So now you do that and not when I was sick" Nico thought, mentally chuckling.

Nico chuckled and ruffled Leo's hair. He stood up and motioned Leo to follow him.

He gave Leo his sandwich and lunch then walked outside.

Leo soon ran inside the small school in a nearby town. Nico felt the worry bubbling in him at the very moment.

Piper who was waiting for them outside the school, put a hand on Nico's shoulder.

"Don't worry he's gonna be fine. He is after all a lot more responsible than the original Leo" Piper said, chuckling a little. Everyone would know it was a hollow joke. Especially if it was Piper who said the joke, even if we got the reincarnation you can never replace the original one and the pain it caused. "You ready to go to your first gig?".

He nodded, half-heartedly and they walked off to the cafe, Piper talked about.

Nico's first day on the job was amazhang. Everyone cried when he sang especially when he sang about Leo Valdez, his first love. People wanted him perform again tommorow and day after and the day after that and the day after that... you get the point.

His job for the day was done. He will finally see Leo again, even if they did see each other that morning. Nico missed the little rug rat and couldn't wait to see him again.

The school bell rang signifying the end of school. Nico cringed hearing that again. The last time he heard that was when Bianca was still here. He would dash out his classroom quickly running over to her's. Oh the good memories......but there's no such thing as "Good memories". There are only memories that don't bring pain but they are not good memories. 

Nico saw Leo running over to him, gripping the wrist of a girl with long, chopped, onyx hair under a navy blue beanie. Her pale skin contrasts with the blackness of her sweater. She was wearing jeans and blue rubber shoes. Her Midnight blue body bag dangling from her shoulder as she ran to catch up with Leo who won't let go of her. Of course Nico would never let the bright blush of her cheeks pass his vision.

"Nico! I want you to meet someone!" Leo screamed gripping his red jansport that was almost falling of his shoulder.

They stopped in front of Nico. Leo and the girl was panting hardly. Nico raised an eyebrow at them, mentally chuckling. He finally saw the girl's eyes. They were brown, warm, kind, compassionate brown. They reminded Nico of Bian..c..a.

"Nico, I want you to meet my new best friend, Bianca!" Leo screeched, happily.

Nico froze. His heart beating wildly, as forced himself not to burst out crying. Bianca nodded in acknowledgement, not noticing the tears in Nico's eyes, as He faked a smile. The biggest fake smile he could give.

"Yeah nice to meet you, my name's Nico" He said, crouching down to Bianca's level. He noticed the way this girl smiles. Just exactly like Bianca. That shy smile. Oh how badly Nico wanted to bear hug the girl. Leo rambled on about Bianca as she denies him a lot of times. Nico put on a smile as he tries to tolerate the pain.

Soon Bianca's mother came to pick her up as she left promising to see Leo tommorow.
"C'mon kiddo....we're going to camp" Nico says, motioning Leo to follow. Leo's eyes brightened, Just the way Leo Valdez does whenever he hears the word Ogygia. Oh how it pained Nico to force the brightest smile at that moment where he felt so broken. Nico remembered the mechanic's smiling and foolish face. His face that shown how deep he fell for that girl. Nico just wanted to burst out crying, to relieve all the pain. He stopped in his tracks. The tears welled up in his eyes. His knees felt like gelato's half-way through melting completely.

Like a ray of sunshine, Leo's voice melodiously snapped him back to reality.

"N-Nico you alright?"Leo said. He hugged Nico by his legs. His eyes shown fear and concern.

"Yeah......I think it's about time I tell you, everything"  Nico said. After three years of being with this boy.......He felt as if it's about time. He felt like Leo should know about.........Leo Valdez and Bianca Di Angelo.

Leo looked worried. Nico knew why. He was never serious with Leo even with Leo's studies (though Leo didn't have a problem about grades) and he thinks Leo senses that he really doesn't want to talk about it.

He trudged along with a concerned seven year old trailing behind him.

They reached camp on sunset. Just right in time. Just right in time to still visit the Bunker 9. Nico Di Angelo had practically dragged himself in after so long. After 3 long years he was back. This place that had used to be Leo Valdez's home. So much memories were reminded. It almost made Nico sob and sound like a dying whale.

Leo (the reincarnation) was amazed as schist. His big brown eyes were big and wide. The way he ran over Valdez's old work tables and examining the blueprints all over the tables.

Nico would have laughed out loud if it weren't for the memories in this place. He walked over to Leo who was still examining some of Valdez's harmless but fun machines at a box beside a table. He tapped Leo's shoulder. It seemed like Leo was having fun playing with all those machines.

For a split second Nico saw Leo Valdez in place of his five year old adopted sibling. Nico blinked back the tears that welled up in his eyes in that second.

Leo looked worriedly at Nico.

Nico in that case ignore his sibling's worried gaze. He motioned for the son of Hermes (A/N: Still remember he was a son of Hermes xD as mentioned earlier.) to follow him to the back room.

There in all it's glory was the Argo II fully repaired by Valdez's siblings.

(A/N: Leo will be the reincarnation and Valdez will be our ever lovable repairboy)

"Woah! Nico! How can you not tell me this piece of awesomeness!!" Leo shrieked out loud as he jumped around, excitedly.

Nico could only manage a light chuckle. He motioned Leo to grabbed onto him as he shadow travelled. The appeared on the mast. Nico missed this place the last he's been here was three year's ago, the day he met this little mischevious pile of schist.

He sat down and patted the seat next to him, motioning Leo to sit next to him.

As Leo sat down, Nico sighed.

"So how do I start this? Ah I know..." Nico started off, not even looking at Leo.

"I need another story. Something to get off my chest" Nico sang.

After all the stories, Nico told him. About Percy and Annabeth's adventures. About Nico's adventures in the underworld. About all the myths. About some monsters. About the his, Reyna's and Coach Hedge's adventure of transporting the Athena Parthenon.

All of it, except Leo Valdez and Bianca Di Angelo and everything that happened in between his sister's and Valdez's death. Now he needs those stories.

" My life gets kinda boring. Need something that I can confess"

Nico knew his life was the old clichè emo, gay and punk kind of life (minus the demigod part of course). He wants to be different. Different from the others. He needs a story that he can't tell. To keep it different.

Nico glanced at Leo. He saw the seven year old's confused face. He saw Valdez in this kid  which makes it harder to say.

"'Til all my sleeves are stained red. From all the truth that I've said" Nico tugged at the sleeves of his aviators jacket. Showing his old cutting scars. Leo needs to know this.

Nico wasn't supposed to hide this from him. It hurt to say the truth, it made him want to reopen those scars.

He heard Leo gasp loudly. Fortunately for Nico, Leo didn't say anything in response.

"Come by it honestly I swear. Thought you saw me wink, no. I've been on the brink, so" Nico sang gripping the Mast tightly. He wanted to Leo know that he wasn't lying everything he was going to say was true. He was always over the edge recently, he couldn't stand hiding it from Leo anymore.

"Tell me what you want to hear. Something that will light those ears. Sick of all the insincere"Nico sang whole-heartedly.

If Leo asks he'll say it. Just because the son of Hermes deserves it.

Besides Nico was already so sick of himself. Lying for so long.

"So I'm gonna give all my secrets away" Nico almost cracked and backed out. But he was ready. Ready to let it all out. Give them all away.

"This time don't need another perfect lie. Don't care if critics ever jump in line" Nico doesn't want to lie anymore. He doesn't care if someone else criticizes him over it. He just wants Leo to know after all this years.

"I'm gonna give all my secrets away" Nico whisper-sang. He was at the edge of loosing it.

"Nico, you don't have to d-" Nico heard Leo start off. Nico didn't even spare him a glance.

"My Gods, amazing how we got this far. It's like we're chasing all those stars" Nico cut him off, staring at the stars. All of the events in Nico's life, they could have been impossible but it was possible. They got through it all.

"Who's driving shiny big black cars and everyday I see the news. All the problems that we could solve" Nico saw it in his life. Many problems happened. Many misunderstandings. Many traumatic experiences. Everything could have been rewinded and prevented but they didn't.

"And when a situation rises. Just write it into an album Send it straight to gold" Nico knew that everything that happened in his life wasn't thought of throughly. Like how some people just charge into battle without a plan.

"But I don't really like my flow, no, so" Nico hates the flow of his life. None of it was thought of throughly. It was one bad thing after the other. All those events were connected like Dominos. One miserable thing happens then a terrible thing happens and so on. His life, His flow it brought him pain and misery over the years.

Nico looked down at his shoes. He couldn't bear to look at Leo. Not right now.

"Tell me what you want to hear. Something that will light those ears. Sick of all the insincere" Nico will tell Leo everything. He was sick of lying.

"So I'm gonna give all my secrets away" Nico was ready to let it all out. Ready to let Leo know.

"This time, don't need another perfect lie. Don't care if critics ever jump in line" He doesn't want to lie anymore. He doesn't care if someone will hurt him for those secrets as long as Leo wants to know it he'll tell it.

"I'm gonna give all my secrets away" Nico was gonna let it all out.

"Oh, got no reason, got no shame. Got no family I can blame" Nico had no reason to lie. He doesn't feel shame anymore. He has no family to blame for all his secrets. 

"Just don't let me disappear" Nico is counting on Leo not to let him sink back into the darkness. Into the deep abyss of misery and pain. Leo was Nico's last hope.

"I'ma tell you everything. So tell me what you want to hear. Something that will light those ears. Sick of all the insincere" Nico was gonna do it. He wasn't gonna lie anymore.

"So I'm gonna give all my secrets away" He was ready.

"This time, don't need another perfect lie. Don't care if critics ever jump in line" It doesn't matter if the critics critize him. Leo needs to know it and that's that.

"I'm gonna give all my secrets away" Now or Never

"So tell me what you want to hear. Something that will light those ears. Sick of all the insincere" Nico glanced at Leo. He had the mixture of a confused, terrified and concerned expression. Should Nico do this or not? Should he stop?

"So I'm gonna give all my secrets away." Nico already decided it when he met Leo's new best- friend. He wasn't gonna back out.

"This time, don't need another perfect lie. Don't care if critics ever jump in line" Two more lines and all Hades will break loose. Break loose inside of Nico.

"I'm gonna give all my secrets away" He was ready.

"All my secrets away, all my secrets away" Nico whispered out, Fully looking at Leo. Tears slowly fell from Nico's eyes, running down his pale cheeks.

Leo had a different reaction. His mouth was open, like he was either supposed to scream or just plain shocked. His pretty brown eyes were wide. They were so full of concern and fear.

Nico decided that Leo was scared of him. Like everybody else, all over again. Tears started running non-stop and before Nico knew it, he was already crying his guts out right in front of Leo.

"Just don't let me disappear Leo" Nico thought. He didn't want Leo to leave. Leo was his sunshine. It hurt to see him, running away from Nico.

"Please Say Something Leo. Anything. To remind me that I am not alone in this hell of a world" Nico thought, crying silently into his arms.

"N-Nico" Nico heard Leo's voice call. Though it seemed quite distant. Leo must have been already down and wanted to tell Nico he was leaving him. No, He wasn't gonna look at Leo for that matter.

His mother died when he was a young boy.

His sister left him, for some hunter group.

His half-sister and him were strangers.

His first love died before he even knew that Nico loved him.

Now His last ray of sunshine was leaving him.

There wasn't anything in this world for Nico anymore. No one would know. No one would miss him. This was his new big secret.

He stood up regardless of his surroundings.

One more step, he'd join his father in the underworld.

One more step, he'd be free from all the pain.

One more step and it's all over for Nico.

He jumped off the mast. It was all over now. It's all gonna end now.

He closed his eyes, hoping to just die.

Someone grabbed his wrist. Nico looked up, It was Leo. He was crying as he grabbed on to Nico.

Nico was shocked.

"Don't go away, Say what you say. Say that you'll stay. Forever and a day. In the time of my life" Leo whisper-sang to him, though Nico heard him loud and clear.
