After my stories last night, we all went to bed, but I couldn't get to sleep really well because I was so happy the kids were here. They're the only ones who appreciate my stories. Eventually I did get to sleep, it just took a while.

The next day Chase invited me and Henrik to go to the park with him and his kids. I was so excited, since we were going to an open air park, we would be far enough away from other people for most of our trip that I could show the kids a couple tricks. I heard that's why Greyson picked the park he did. The little guy always wants stories.

Of course I said yes to my best friend of five years. He has confided in me with just about anything and I love to hang out with him!

As we headed to the park, I told the kids about the tentacle guy story, where he almost beat me, but I came through, just like any good hero would! I beat him and he was taken to the monster jail he should have been in years prior.

After I finished my story, Trey asked me if I'd ever lost a fight. This is a hard question for me because I have, but I usually get really sad when I think about them because I couldn't defend my home and city. I didn't answer, so Chase spoke up for me.

"That's a really touchy subject for Jackie, and I don't know if he's up to telling you right now, although I'm sure he appreciates your question and interest."

Trey got all defensive and spat out "I just asked a question, jeez."

I didn't tell another story until we got to the park.

When we got to the open air park, we went to one of the least crowded spaces and ate our picnic lunch, then I started flying around to impress Grayson, while Trey ignored me as he was still mad.

After everyone finished their lunch, we walked around, climbed a tree, just messed around on the beautiful day we had.

Chase and Henrik hung out a lot, while I was hanging out with the kids. We were playing hide and seek tag in a small playground we found, they weren't doing well because I could fly. They held their own however, and I couldn't find Grayson, the little devil could hide in the smallest corners since he was five years old. Trey was trying as hard as he could, but there isn't many hiding places in the area for a fifteen year old.

In the span of thirty minutes I completely lost where I was looking for Grayson, had Chase and Henrik helping. And after another ten I had Trey helping me search. He clearly hid in a tiny corner, or a small boxed in area.

We'd been looking together for about an hour, no sign of Greyson had come up, but after another half hour we found footprints. Eventually we found the tiny devil and headed home. That took a big relief off my shoulders, I'm glad we didn't lose him.

After we found Greyson we headed home before it got dark out. Marvin showed the kids a couple tricks before they went off to bed.

The next morning the kids had to leave, but Stacy was late, so we baked cookies, even though that meant when Stacy arrived she would complain about the mess, Chase didn't care much. Everything else was spotless.

Although when Stacy left, just like normal, Chase grabbed a bottle and headed to his room, depressed as ever.

I am so sorry I missed last week's upload! I'm not very good with schedules as you probably know, but I should be able to upload every week for a couple of weeks, because I wrote this a day early and I'm working on more chapters. This story is about to get serious next chapter though, so if you came looking for fluff, turn back now. I have about 57 chapters planned. I'm really excited about this book because I'm planned out so much better. That's all for now!
