(A.N. so this is a really weird book and story and I've got no clue where I'm going with it but yeah)

Daichi [POV]

"Suga you're limping" I pointed out as we walked to practice

"My knee is being stupid I'm fine" he insisted

"Are you sure it doesn't hurt?" I asked

"Yup 100% sure" he nodded

"I'm starting to get worried about you, you dislocated your knee this morning and now you're limping" I insisted

"Daichi really" he put his hand on my shoulder "Je vais bien" 

"Suga how many times do I have to remind you, Japanese" I rolled my eyes

"Does it annoy you?" He asked

"Yes it does" I insisted

"Perfect" he smiled clapping his hands together

"Ugh" I rolled my eyes we both walked side by side into the gym talking about different things

"One time when I was younger I was playing outside with my dad I think we were playing like soccer or something" Suga started with a shrug "But my dad tripped and fell and just laid there face down in the grass, he didn't move but when I went over to investigate," Suga paused bursting out laughing "he was apparently......, he was crying and....., managed to cry himself....., to sleep" he explained between laughter "It took me like a whole fifteen minutes to stop laughing to get my mom and she started laughing so hard she woke him up......., dad was so embarrassed he was sulking in his room for like two days"

"Seriously?" I asked holding back my laughter

"I'm not kidding" Suga burst out laughing again "He probably would have stayed in there for like another day or two if me and my mom hadn't lured him out with cookies"

"Your dad is hilarious" I commented 

"He hasn't changed" Suga laughed

"Neither have you" I insisted getting changed into my jersey

"What do you mean?" He exclaimed

"You act like a child all the time you pout when you don't get your way and you're amused by the sound of jangling keys" I listed off

"Shut up" he muttered his cheeks flushing red

"Why should I?" I asked

"Shut up I'm not a child" He insisted 

"Then prove to me how you can be mature?" I raised one eyebrow as we walked back up to the gym

"Tu es un putain!" He exclaimed angrily, Kiyoko who was just coming in snorted and started laughing (A.N. he pretty much called him a whore)

"Oh so mature insulting me in a whole other language" I rolled my eyes, his face flushed red with anger as he looked down at the floor "Why don't you insult me in Japanese so I can actually understand you"

"You called me childish" he insisted

"Yeah because you are why does that bother you?" I raised one eyebrow tauntingly

"Yes it does I'm 18 I'm nowhere near being a child" he furrowed his eyebrows angrily 

"Then maybe start acting your age" I put my hand on his shoulder

"Don't treat me like your child then" he insisted pulling away from me "Sorry that I just have a sense of humor" I was confused, what had made him so angry?  I had called him childish before, this was no different but now why was he so mad?

"That's not what I'm talking about" I insisted

"You're such a stuck up and you're so serious all the time" he looked down at the ground "I just try to have fun and you call me childish, once we're out of high school we'll be an adult now I'm just enjoying it while I can"

"What brought this up Suga?" I asked

"See what I mean you're doing it again being so mature and so serious all the time" He frowned

"What are you talking about?"

"I can actually act like myself around you because I trust you" He exclaimed "Isn't that enough why does that have to be referred to as childish?" I was at a loss for words, I was so confused but he wouldn't listen.  What had brought this up?

"Suga calm down what are you talking about?" I asked nervously "You've been kinda moody today is something wrong?"

"Moody?  Really Daichi?  I've been the same as I always am just it pissed me off when you say I'm like a child and when you say things like that I trust you the most and I'm just trying to have fun and that's what I get for it" he shouted

"Suga-" I started but trailed I had no further arguments, I was confused, Suga wouldn't listen to me "I just said that you should act your age that's all I'm not saying anythings wrong with having fun and what not"

"Shut up" He muttered

"I called you childish yesterday and you didn't blow up like this what's going on with you today?  Is it because of what happened this morning?" I asked 

"My knee is fine Daichi" he insisted

"Then what's wrong?" I furrowed my eyebrows concerned

"Shut up" He insisted "Nothing's wrong"

"You don't usually act like this, you're being quite moody today like a teenager and I know it's not hormones because you've been through puberty already-"

"You say I'm childish now I'm acting like a teenager make up your mind Daichi" He insisted

"I'm just using that as an analogy you just don't usually act like this" I put my hand on his shoulder again but he pushed me again taking a step back

"Stop it Daichi" he insisted "Ta gueule!" (A.N. it's an offensive way to say shut up)

"Suga you know I don't understand French so stop doing that I know you're trying to be annoying but I'm concerned about you you're being moody" I frowned 

"Just shut up" He exclaimed

"Guys what's going on what's with all the shouting up here?" Tanaka asked coming up from the locker rooms

"Je te hais" He muttered angrily walking away, I looked at Kiyoko, she winced sucking in a sharp breath (A.N. It means I hate you)

"What did he say?" I asked nervously Kiyoko didn't respond

"Whoa what happened did you two get into a fight or something?" Noya asked coming up as well

"I don't know he just got really mad at me for some reason" I explained

"Wow what'd you do?" he asked

"I didn't do anything that's the weird thing I just called him childish, like I've done that before but he just blew up today" I explained starting to walk towards him but Ukai put his hand on my shoulder

"I saw most of it leave him be for now let him calm down" he instructed I sighed

"But I didn't do anything" I mumbled looking down at the ground, practice started and Suga was ignoring me whenever I would say something to him he pretended like he didn't hear me, if I touched him trying to talk to him he would pull away and shout something in French at me, I always looked back at Kiyoko she always wore a different shocked expression when he said something but she wouldn't translate for me.  I sighed and just decided to give him his space like Ukai had said.  It was Suga's turn to serve I was in the front row as he served the ball missed getting over the net and instead hit me in the back of the head.  Now I felt like he was trying to be a dickhead

"Daichi are you okay?" Tanaka asked I turned around, Suga glared at me with no remorse whatsoever 

"Were you trying to do that?" I exclaimed he furrowed his eyebrows tilting his nose towards the sky in a snobby manner

"Okay Suga I think it's about time that you tell us what's going on with you you've been really irritable ever since practice started especially towards Daichi" Tanaka insisted putting his hands on his hips

"brule en enfer" he exclaimed slowly drawing out ever word venom dripping from his tone of voice

"You've said that to me before Suga that's not a new insult" I insisted

"Then what does it mean?" he snapped

"I don't know but I know it doesn't mean something that bad if you repeat it again" I insisted "You're not one to swear to harshly" though to my complete surprise Suga glared at me flipping me off anger flaring in his eyes, I furrowed my eyebrows concerned

"Okay Suga you're being really irritable today why don't you go take a lap go walk around outside calm yourself down" Ukai insisted putting his hand on Suga's shoulder, Suga grumbled something in French but didn't object, he walked out of the gym crossing his arms in front of his chest

"Burn in hell" Kiyoko mumbled but it wasn't in a mocking tone

"Excuse me?" Ukai exclaimed

"It means burn in hell" She explained "brule en enfer"

"What's up with him today I don't even know what I did" I shook my head

"You said he was lactose intolerant?" Kageyama asked

"Yeah but what does that have anything to do with this?" I asked

"Well I don't know but it could cause irritation or mood swings if he's had some dairy today or something" He shrugged "But I don't really know"

"But I've been watching him all day" I mumbled to myself but the realization hit me "He probably had some this morning" I sighed, I had left him alone for two minutes as I went to the bathroom knowing him he probably had some then.

"Let's not dwell on that let's get back to practice he'll come back when he's ready" Ukai insisted getting practice back going.
