They each split up into sections, Sonya and Kasia gets to fight Kano and they had Lord Raiden send the three of them to Sonya's trailer. Kasia felt bad about hurting Kano but all the guilt goes away when she gets a flash of Kano standing over Kasia and Sonya face ready to kill the two of them.

"Honey I'm home." Kasia twitched when she heard Kano's voice. "Go under," Sonya whispered to Kasia who nodded but she had a feeling Sonya couldn't see her. Kasia took a deep breath and focused her energy on the ground, she still wasn't sure how to control her powers but she could do it if she needed to.

Kasia watched as Sonya started to slash Kano's ankles, the two of them ducked when red filled the spot where they were hiding. "I'd come out if I were you!" Kano shouts before he lets out a yell of pain which was Kasia's queue, she crawled towards the exit and appeared on the other side of Kano so Kano was in between Sonya and Kasia.

Kano hadn't noticed her yet so she bent down and grabbed her knife from her ankle before throwing it, he let out a shout when it hit his shoulder so he turned around abandoning Sonya, throwing her to the side like a sack of potatoes before charging towards Kasia. "Stop Kano! I don't want to do this!" Kasia warned as he started to get closer to her.

"What are you gonna do? You have the powers of earthquakes not much you can do." Kano boasts, Kasia smirks and puts her hands on the ground which starts to shake. "Clearly you don't know much about quakes." Kano looks at her confused but the ground starts to open up, it closes making Kano's legs trapped like cement.

"Sonya! Catch!" Kasia grabs one of the knives from her back and tosses it towards Sonya who catches it. "You forgot one thing!" That was all the warning Kasia got before Kano activated his powers, Kasia ducked into the bathroom heart pounding. She heard a shout and then the red stopped, she looked around the door to see Kano with a knife sticking through his brain and a panting Sonya behind him.

"Oh shit," Kasia says as she quickly bypasses Kano to walk over to Sonya who collapses into her arms heaving. "How does that feel?" Kasia says pressing a kiss to her hair as Sonya grabs onto her arms. "Fucking amazing." Sonya's legs give out from under her so Kasia gently pulls her into a sitting position against the wall. "Look." Kasia nods towards Sonya's shoulder where the mark appeared from killing Kano.

"No time to rejoice." Sonya turns and presses a kiss to Kaisa's lips before Kasia feels what Sonya is talking about, they look up as they are teleported to an arena that is lined with fire. "Cole is in trouble!" Kasia yells to Sonya who nods and starts to run up the rocks while Kasia takes the ground.

Cole who is struggling with Mileena turns the two of them around so Kasia and Sonya are facing Mileena instead of Cole. "A little help." Cole looks at Kasia and Sonya pleadingly, before Kasia can bend down Sonya pulls her hand back and Kasia watches as purple rings shoot towards Mileena sending her down and dead.

"Holy shit, energy powers," Kasia says putting her hands down and walking over to where Cole and Sonya are standing. "Little parting gift from Kano," Sonya smirks at both Cole and Kasia, the latter who shakes her head fondly at her girlfriend.

They were standing beside each other when they heard a wooshing behind them, they turned around and Sonya put her arm out to push Kasia behind her. Cole starts walking towards him when Sub-Zero holds up a bracelet that makes Cole freeze in his tracks.

Kasia watches as the bracelet starts to turn to ice and Sub-Zero crushes it in his fingers, he starts to back up towards the smokey portal that he came through when Cole starts running. "Emily!"

"No!" Kasia starts to go after Cole but Sonya grabs her forearm and stops her, when the smoke fades they don't see Cole on the other side. "Sonya, we have to go after him." Kasia tried to yank her arm out of Sonya's grip but instead of letting go, Sonya wrapped her arms around Kasia making her face her chest. "Sh, I think he needs to do this on his own." Kasia grips the back of Sonya's shirt tightly.

Kasia pulls back when she feels a rumble under her feet, sniffing she closes her eyes and grips her hands with Sonya. When she opens her eyes she sees Cole smiling with his family. "These are my friends." Cole gestures towards Kasia, Sonya, Liu Kang, Jax who appeared beside Sonya and Lord Raiden.

Liu Kang bows to the two girls before introducing himself. "I am Liu Kang, sit I will warm you." With a woosh a ball of fire appears in his hands, they smile before crouching down and putting their hands out to keep warm. "I'm impressed." Lord Raiden says as he looks inside the ring, Kasia grabs Sonya's hand and looks around Lord Raiden to see what he's talking about, when she sees it she sucks in a deep breath.

"I thought you said you couldn't get involved," Cole smirks at Lord Raiden who shakes his head, whatever Lord Raiden was going to say fell on his lips when they heard a wooshing sound. Lord Raiden put his arm in front of the group telling them to stay back as he walked towards Shang Tsung.

"The prophecy has been fulfilled. Has the blood on your hands told you nothing?" Kasia teased as Sonya pushed her behind her. "No matter how many of my people you put in the ground, there will always be another to take their place. Today, you have killed my warriors and you think you have won, but death is only another portal."

They watched as the body in the ring was covered in smoke then disappeared like it was never there. "Next time I see you, I will not bring fighters. I will bring armies." Shang Tsung squinted his eyes at Lord Raiden who didn't even flinch. "You will return to the Outworld at once!" Lord Raiden points his hand at Shang Tsung and Shang Tsung disappears when the lightning fades.

"He talks too much." Lord Raiden says as he walks back over to the group. "What happens next?" Kasia asks leaning onto Sonya. "Today, we are victorious, but there are other enemies to fight. We cannot let our guard down. I'll assemble a new list of champions, you must find them."
