Even after 24 hours the dream still shook Kasia up, she's used to nightmares since the attack but this one was a different nightmare. Not only was the rumbling of the ground different but this dream felt real, she doesn't really remember what happened but her dream felt like it happened.

She brushes her hand over her face before grabbing her computer and she types in trauma and dreams, she speed reads through an article before hitting back and scrolling until she found another promising article, she rolls her eyes as she reads and closes her laptop angrily before pushing it away. All of them came to the same conclusion, she had PTSD but she didn't. She was just missing most of that night, and she woke up the next day with a mark on her arm but she didn't have PTSD.

Kasia slid off her bed and glanced at the time, it was late but it wasn't too late for Kasia to go to a 24/7 gas station luckily it was within walking distance because she didn't feel like driving the short drive to it. She slipped on her tennis shoes before grabbing her wallet and keys, this was all she needed to go out of the house. Kasia tapped her pocket making sure her phone was in there before walking quietly towards the door and opening it slowly.

Alon just got home and was probably asleep while Zachary was for sure asleep because of how late it is. She had to be quiet which has become easier, she closes the door behind her slowly before locking it like it was before she was making it look like she never left.

Kasia slips her keys into her pocket before rubbing her arms as she starts to feel slightly self-conscious over the fact that she is in her short sleeve sleep shirt, she knows that her mark is on display and she can't do anything to hide it even though she wishes she can run back to the house and grab a jacket but she can't, it would be risking Alon and Zachary to wake up which is the last thing she wants to do so, for now, she has to suffer. "Sorry," Kasia says nervously when her shoulder bumps into a blonde-haired woman who has her hair in a ponytail with a cap on it.

"Oh, its fin-" The woman looks up shocked before glancing down to her forearm staring at the mark, Kasia huffs and crosses her arms covering the mark with her hand before pushing past the blonde woman towards the gas station which the bright lights are shining in front of Kasia making her eyes hurt. Kasia doesn't have to look behind her to know the woman is still staring at her but she brushes it off and walks into the gas station grabbing the door handle and pulling making the bell ding. "Hi, Roger," Kasia says to the old man behind the counter.

"Kasia! Haven't seen you in a while, are you doing alright?" The old man asks smiling. "I'm doing good, have you gotten a new shipment of the peanuts in yet?" Kasia asks not being able to contain the excitement on her face. "We sure do, I put them out yesterday." Roger winks at her before looking back down at his paper, Kasia smiles and walks towards the peanut aisle and grabs a bag or two before walking to the drink fridge.

Kasia goes to open the drink fridge when she feels eyes on her, she sighs and turns around expecting the see the blonde woman again fully ready to tell her to fuck off when she sees a police officer instead, Kasia gulps and grabs her bottle of coca-cola before quickly walking towards the register fully aware the police officers eyes never leave her. Ever since the attack she's been wary around the police, not only did it take them 20 minutes to get to the store when it should've only taken them 5 but they treated Kasia like a suspect only to let her go when Naveen protested loudly and showed them footage of the attack, she was let off but ever since then she hasn't trusted them, rightfully so.

"You alright darling?" Roger asks concern in his voice, Kasia nods and hands over her credit card. "I'm good Roger, I promise." Kasia fake smiles something that she hopes he buys but, by the still worried look on his face, he doesn't. "Have a good night sweetheart, get home safe." Roger nods handing her bag which she takes trying to calm her hands shaking, Kasia nods her thanks before she walks towards the door and opens it with a ding.

As she's walking her mind keeps going towards the blonde woman and how her voice sounded familiar, she rolled her eyes and grabbed her phone. She's dealt with hundreds of people a day, she probably was a patient of her Dad's Kasia thinks as she walks towards the door of her house. She grabs her keys and unlocks the door before slowly opening it and slipping off her shoes after she closes the door, she turns around and locks the door quickly feeling a little bit of fear wash over her as she feels like something is wrong but Kasia just crops it up to some midnight fear.

Kasia slowly walks towards her room wincing every time the floor creeks or the bag crinkles extra loudly, she breathes a sigh of relief when she makes it to her room without her roommates waking it. She pulls back the covers and sits down dragging her laptop closer before dropping the contents of her bag on her bed. She opens the coke and takes a sip of some of it before opening the peanuts and she puts them into the coca-cola smiling as she drinks it.

She glances at the time and shrugs before choosing to put on a movie, she doesn't seem to be tired or wanting to sleep anytime soon so she might as well make the most of it right?
