Mcs pov

I walked into the literature club to find sayori looking down. Crap this is it. This is that first signs she showed that she was depressed.

I have to do something but what? Last time I approached her about this she brushed me off, sinking deeper into her depressed state. It's clear that words won't work in this situation but maybe actions will.

I walked up and hugged her. She looked up in surprise "Mc what are you doing?"

I shrugged "you looked like you were having a bad day. I just thought you could use a hug"

She teared up and hugged me back "thank you mc. You really are too kind to me"

The girls looked over in shock.

"sayori why are you crying?" yuri gasped.

"if you made her cry I'll beat you up!" natsuki glared at me.

I sweated nervously. Oh god have I got myself into trouble?

"no no it's fine guys he actually made me really happy" sayori said reassuringly.

"oh that's a relief" yuri sighed.

"hehe you must be getting pretty close with sayori" Monika smiled at me. Crap if she gets too jealous then she might hurt sayori. I gotta defuse the situation.

"that's true but I care deeply about everyone here" I said kissing her hand. The other girls gasped while Monika turned a deep red.

"I should probably step out for a bit" she muttered before leaving the classroom.

"may mc I never knew you were such a flirt" sayori giggled.

I immediately turned red myself after realising what I done. I then proceeded to hide my face while sayori and the other girls continued to tease me.
