Mcs pov

I gently guided yuri to her seat. She was a little lightheaded from the blood loss. I looked over at natsuki who was glaring at her with manga in hand.

I walked over to natsuki. I'm going to have to have a little talk with her.

She glared at me as I walked over "what do you want?"

I took a deep breath "natsuki can you please try and be nicer to yuri"

"why should I? Clumsy idiot knocked over my mangas" she grumbled.

"I know but she can't deal with things when she's stressed. I actually caught her cutting herself in an attempt to calm down"

Her eyes widened "how did you find out about that"

"I guess I just want to help everyone" I said simply.

"right" she nodded "I'm going to go apologise"

Natsuki ran up to yuri and after a few words they tearfully hugged. I smiled at them. It looks like things are getting better.

*time skip*

Our time at the literature ended and we were all leaving when natsuki grabbed the back of my school jacket with shaky hands.

"natsuki is something wrong-"

"please help me" her voice was trembling. I was surprised since she always sounded so confident "I don't want to go back to him"

I turned around and hugged her "don't worry natsuki. I will not let that monster hurt you. I promise"

She cried into my chest while the other girls looked on in confusion. Looks like it's time to save natsuki.
