Chapter 3
All the paint washed off my body along with tears, I was using his shower. Apparently he lived on his own in this small one bedroom apartment but it was cute.
I stepped out putting on light gray baggy sweats and a huge long sleeve, one of my shoulders exposed from the shirt being to big. My clothes were in the washer, which I was very great full for. I walked out of the bathroom, leading my straight in to the living room.
"Feeling better?" He asked, he used the shower in his room.
"Yes, thanks to you." I answered, smiling softly at him.
He turned the t.v off and stood up, "I'm hungry and I bet you're starving, would you like to go out and grab something to eat?"
"I shouldn't..." My stomach growled making him raise an eye brow and me blush.
"Please, I just moved here, I don't have any friends yet and you clearly shouldn't go back to school for the rest of the day." He was right, going back is a death sentence.
"Okay but I'm paying you back." I insisted as we walked to his motorcycle- wait a motorcycle?!
"Your company is enough payment." He replied smoothly, something about him attracted me, I mean his looks were pretty much amazing. He had dark brown eyes with black specks, dark blonde hair in a messy style, smooth tan skin and he was clearly built. Except this was a deeper feeling, it wasn't his looks it was I don't know, something inside...
"Um you ride a m-motorcycle?" I awkwardly rubbed my arm staring at it, my face probably pale.
He chuckled, "Yeah, don't worry I won't let anything happen to you. Besides I'm an amazing rider." He hopped on starting it up and held a helmet out to me.
"I don't know..." I was kinda terrified, I mean I fight villains and monsters almost everyday but still.
His amazing warm chocolate eyes turned to me, making me melt, "Do you trust me?"
I slowly nodded my head, "I do." I took the helmet and climbed on behind him and he took off to a near by diner.
If only I knew how horrible my decisions were, if only...
